Far shore is generally in line with actual rigs....
Which are the upper most visible part....also compressed....a ton.
They are being reflected on the camera side foreground....
Just like a hot desert road mirage....
Creating a lower false horizon....and something I might call looming if I was looking with bare eyes....just sayin....
The dark blue intermittent stuff seen in the foreground is just that...the foreground surface of the ocean...rising up to the far shore.
