In this video, I show you the pretty awesome Car Chase mission from the Die Another Day part of the latest Bond game "007 Legends". I've been waiting for this game for quite along time as I am a huge Bond fan, and I really enjoy playing through the Bond games.
This video is showing the classic car chase that was in Die Another Day, where Bond (In his Vanquish) and Zao (In his Jaguar) are chasing each other... on Ice! It was one of the best parts of the film, and it was a fun section of the game to play through as well.
Of course, when comparing this driving mission to the driving missions in Blood Stone, there's no competition. As Bizarre Creations has made racing games before their Bond game, so comparing the two would be unfair as 007 Legends is made by Activision who don't have a huge experience in driving games.
Despite this, the mission is still fun to play through as a small part of the game, especially if you've seen the film!
Due to Copyright Issues, Part of this mission has been cut out. These parts include: Zao overtaking bond, and Zao being blown up by the Icarus beam. But the rest of the gameplay is shown.
I was quite concerned when this game got a review from an "official" reviewing company, and it got a 4.5... But I don't normally listen to reviews, as the only way your going to find out if a game is good is if you try it out yourself, not listening to some random guy who you don't even know. As well as this, I've bought every bond game that's been out since the Playstation 1, and I was most certainly continue this trend!
So I picked up the game, and the reviewer stated that it was generally just bad, as he was comparing it to COD, a game where its prime focus is to shoot everything. I completely dis-agree, fair enough if your not a bond fan and you just like FPS's then yes, COD is better for you. But in the world of business, there's something called a Target Market. 007 Legends Target Market is the Bond fans, so people who enjoy COD probably won't enjoy 007 Legends, because the "Bond" part of the game to them means nothing.
007 Legends is a great Bond Game in my opinion, it offers everything a Bond fan could possibly want. 6 Stories from Bond movies, Guns, Explosions, Gadgets, Stealth (Relating back to this video!), Cars, Chases, Combat, Classic Characters and much more! Of course, there is room for improvement like 90% of video games, but overall I find it to be a very enjoyable game.
