An XP Farm is one of the most important things you can make in a Minecraft world. Not only do you constantly need to reach level 30 in order to get the best enchantments on your items, but if you use the mending enchantment, you need a lot of XP to heal your items. So today, I build a farm to get all the XP I could ever need and finish enchanting all of my items with max enchantments.

Oh and I also update to 1.20 and get my armor trims :)

Im quitting Hardcore Minecraft | World Tour

SwitchBackMongo 2023-01-14 | After two and a half years, 4000 in-game days, and over 1000 hours of playtime, I have decided to quit playing in my Hardcore Minecraft world.

It's hard for me to simply explain why I've decided to part ways with this project as there are multiple things that have led me to this decision. But I found that the easiest way to get my feelings across is to do my first-ever Hardcore Minecraft World Tour and take you all through my footsteps to show you how I ended up here.

I know this news may be sad to some of you as this was the series that got many of you to subscribe to my channel initially but I hope by the end of the video you will understand where I'm coming from and be as excited as I am to start something new. The Wild Update added one of the most dangerous features the game has ever seen, The Deep Dark, where we can find the new Ancient City structure. Here, we can find extremely rare treasures like the new 5 music disc, and the new Swift Sneak enchantment but, if we make too much noise, we may spawn the new, overpowered mob, The Warden.

Should we see him, we'll be only two hits away from losing EVERYTHING.

How I Beat Hardcore Minecraft WITHOUT KILLING ANYTHING

While mob combat is usually an integral part of a player's ability to survive Hardcore Minecraft, I wanted to challenge myself to complete the game without fighting at all. In theory, it should be relatively easy as there are only two mobs that HAVE to be killed to reach the end credits, but this challenge required me to rethink the game through every section of the game.

Can I survive with defense as my only weapon? They do say it's the best offense...

I Completed ALL ADVANCEMENTS in 100 Days of Hardcore Minecraft

There are 95 advancements in Minecraft as of 1.18, challenges for the player to complete over the span of their world ranging from sleeping in a bed to getting every in-game effect applied at the same time and while these advancements are designed for long term completion, I wanted to complete them in just 100 days of a new world.

Why Are Houses So Hard? Hardcore Minecraft (#66)

As simple as it is, four walls, a roof, and a door, I have never been proud of any of my houses in this game. But a few weeks ago, I started over in new chunks of my Hardcore Minecraft world, and I have another chance to make a house I love.

The Game Isnt Over Yet | Deceit Season 2 Finale

SwitchBackMongo 2021-12-24 | Today may be the final day of Deceit Season 2, but there is plenty of game left to be played.

The Traitors and Crafters are in equal positions, they cannot advance their objectives without coming face to face with each other. So surely, there will be war this session. But questions still remain. Which Side am I on? Do I play for my role or my allies? And did we actually eliminate the killer or does he still walk among us?

Speed Running ALL ADVANCEMENTS in Hardcore Minecraft 1.18 (#65)

This Speed Run challenge is something I put on myself once I realized that a lot of the new advancements could be done together, possibly within seconds of each other. MANIPULATION | Deceit SMP Episode 5

Controlling someone or something for your own advantage, often unfairly or dishonestly.

Currently on Deceit SMP, Zombie Villagers are the most sought-after assets by everyone. Zombie Villagers make it easy to get any enchantment on any tool with just a few emeralds. A player with them is more powerful than a player without. That's why today, I will make sure I am in control of ALL the villagers on the server.

All it's going to take is a little convincing, a couple of lies, and some sleuthing. And if successful, I may just set myself up to win season 2 of Deceit.

Building My FIRST INTERIOR In Hardcore Minecraft (#62)

Technically, I've built an interior in this world before but this is different. Most of my builds have been underground and those interiors are easy because I can make my rooms bigger or smaller if I need while I design. Within a building shell, like my Potion Brewery, that is not an option. I must make the rooms I have work, regardless of the shape.

I'm taking a break from my Nether Project because I need to collect Dripstone for a Lava Farm that will be part of the build. In Minecraft 1.17, Dripstone seems to be extremely rare, so the best way to get it is to build a new farm at my mega base. This turned out to be a fun build and is easily one of my favorite rooms I've built since the beginning of this series!

Playing The SLOW GAME | Deceit SMP Episode 3

Deceit is a mental game, just as much as it is based on Minecraft skill as well. While my season 1 performance fell short, it's mainly because the game moved too quickly for me to play the mental route. Season 2 is different. A Friendly Beginning | Deceit SMP Episode 1

SwitchBackMongo 2021-11-05 | Deceit SMP: A game of 2 lives. The first is for survival while the second is for sleuthing and killing.

This is episode 1, maybe the only time that all 7 players may be on the same team. We'll use this to work together to build our spawn. But after this, when players begin to die, the game truly begins.

There are four roles a player can get on their second life:

A Killer: Hostile - Solo - Wins by killing everyone
A Traitor: Hostile - Duo - Wins by eliminating crafters and killer
A Crafter: Team (3) - Wins by discovering and killing Traitors and Killer
A Detective - Solo with Crafters - Wins with the Crafters
- The detective can reveal who is responsible for the death of a player if they visit the location they had died.
- If the detective is killed, the player who killed them is revealed publicly

Along with the new detective role we have some new faces in the game! This is surely going to be an exciting season!

Today I will be testing a copper strategy in Hardcore Minecraft. After my research into copper farm designs, I started to question if they were really worth building. I will share with you all the pros and cons of a few different copper farm designs and put them to the test in game!

With my strategy, you can earn up to 1000+ Copper ingots per hour. That's almost 4x as much as LogicalGeekBoy's copper farm, 2x as much as Shulkercraft's copper farm, and over 2x as much as Rays Works copper farm!

This video was originally going to be a Hardcore Minecraft Let's Play episode but this week has turned into more of an analysis project, but it was worth it!

Mining for copper ore, raw copper, copper ingots is actually faster than copper farms designed by gnembon, logicalgeekboy, Tango Tek, Shulkercraft, and cubicmetre. Don't build a copper farm.

Turning A Plan Into My NEW POTION BREWERY in Hardcore Minecraft (#59)

The goal is to start with a building frame to make the final shape of the building before picking the materials to construct the brewery with. Calcite. Basalt. Spruce. Warped Logs. Blackstone. I'll need to do some farming, mining, and hunting for geodes. But it's all worth it because this is my Best Build Yet!

I Made My Own NETHER ISLAND In Hardcore Minecraft (#57)
