welcome back to my channel and for those who are new, welcome! i'm claudia. i make lifestyle and journaling videos π
so, august's bullet journal setup is vastly different to the other 'plan with me' videos on my channel. firstly, i've transferred the bullet journal system into my 6 ring binder! i had been using the leuchtturm1917 journals for years, but recently i've wanted to change things up so here we are. secondly, i did a massive reset on my bullet journaling system. i scrapped any log/spread/collection that i deemed no longer useful to me. that included spreads like the weekly log, various habit trackers, mood trackers etc. i mean, they were nice to do and definitely pleasing to look at, but for me personally, they were neither functional nor served much a purpose for me.
i've kept my august setup incredibly simple, very much back to the basics. it's just a vertical calendar, a small section for my goals, tasks, and tarot card of the month. i also did a minimal august budget/finances tracker. those two spreads are really all i need. and instead of the weekly log format, i'll stick to what i used to do - daily logs. i find weekly logs can really clutter the pages, making me feel distress when looking at them. the whole point of the bujo system is to clarify, organize, and prioritize whatever's on your mind, not create more clutter!
so the monthly setup itself is incredibly minimal and simple, but the cover page is a bit more elaborate and more aesthetically pleasing because i wanted to satisfy the artsy part of me! if you're a studio ghibli fan, i hope you noticed the images i used! ππ
