It is 10k steps faster than the older route, and unlike that version it is also universal. This version also only has a 1200 step reset from bootup, which means that if you want to stop hunting you can just reset the game, do 1200 steps again and runaway encounter Arceus again.

Only the visual data gets moved, and you're in a state where as long as you don't load any new chunk, you have a corrupted subchunk that allows walk through walls so you can talk to the npc's inside of it and walk back out.

Using ASLR scriptcalling, a glitch that allows us to load overlays and scripts that are not defined within a map's runtime table, you can break the graphics of your game, call some scripts that read from garbage data and jump straigth to the credits.
The idea is simple, the game is reading from RAM that is not controllable, but ds systems have a built in RAM randomiser known as ASLR. Using the voidglitch you get a Menu that can acces this RAM and then can load scripts or overlays to your likings. This might one day be useful for Arbitrary Code Execution, if a script lands somewhere in controllable/manipulable RAM.

if you're wondering what the spear pillar cutscene was for: The game stores your map id and coordinates to teleport you to them after the cutscene, but this changes my void to spear pillar. Due to spear pillar's map_width being 2 instead of 30 (before cutscene) this means I end up in a section of sprite data in the void. Because gamefreak is gamefreak, they store player coordinates in 20 different places in RAM, two of them being available in sprite data. I go 511 East, which makes my X coordinate 510, the game has not yet updated my map id tho so its currently still 509. I go one step up, this updates my map ID to 510 and puts me in the hall of origin. this means that by just going down (which doesn't alter X value, but Y) the map would stay 510 and you could catch arceus infinitely here. There's not good setup for this though bcs I need a spear pillar map at specific coordinates, which afaik can't be gotten within a usable amount of steps :/How to catch Shaymin / Darkrai / Cresselia in 5 minutes - Pokémon Diamond / PearlRETIRE2018-09-24 | no this does not work on platinum.
Using some amazing advancements and Wrong Warps, it is possible to catch Shaymin, Darkrai and Cresselia using the voidglitch in about 5 minutes each. It also means you will only have to tweak once, which some people consider to be the hardest part.
I made another video about Wrong Warps that explains how they work, and I have an outdated guide for Shaymin's Wrong Warp Route too. I also wrote a complete guide on voiding, which explains how it works and how to write your own routes using the void.
There's one small improvement found by the speedrunner MAP, which changed the '1 S 17 W 14 N 415 W' to going east first, into a mystery zone, equiping bike there and then going west. It makes the route longer, but the time shorter.
I know that the route for cresselia might sounds useless, but you actually require national dex to capture her usually.
Darkrai will transfer if it doesn't know pursuit and is caught in diamond, leveled up to at least level 50.
Cresselia doesn't have any special requirements
Shaymin will not transfer to newer games.
Shiny variants of Darkrai may or may not transfer unfortunately. A guide for Arceus is in the works, but I have other videos lined up which may come first. I might also start sharing other voidroutes like early dialga/palkia and giratina.Recreating the Unreleased Event - Fighting Arceus using glitchesRETIRE2018-09-09 | Only utilising glitches I was able to completely recreate the battle against Arceus, without use of any action replay codes. Obviously Pokémon games have a record of being broken, but I never expected that this challenge would go so smoothly. I won't be making a tutorial on this since the setup is almost impossible to do for any human.
I make use of the void to get to the Hall Of Origin, and carefully manipulate my position to reach Pal Park. After that I go to a Fake Hall Of Origin, which is similar to a Fake Sinnoh. I then use a script to find a position in RAM where the fake Hall Of Origin lines up with 2 different Hall Of Origin Maps.
Since I was only allowed to use glitches I couldn't make use of the azure flute, and therefore I couldn't trigger the first part at the spear pillar. I tried my best and In my opinion I was able to recreate the unreleased event really well; I hope you enjoy!

We use Partners from Amity Square that allow us to overwrite battledata based on our ASLR. Not only that, you are able to fight a glitchpokémon known as DPbox, MissingNo. of gen 4, Invisible Shiny bulbasaur and '-----'. This is the first legitimate way known to pull this off, and took years of research to accomplish.
The Wrong warp breakthrough instantly gave me acces to do this while I had been trying to achieve this in a long time, so this is a very big discovery in the glitchcommunity. I'm still doing more research into ramchanges because of these battles.
The glitch does require tweaking and the voidglitch, aswell as having entered specific maps to have mapscripts removed.

This video also explains the RETIRE glitch, as they're very simular in nature.
First we have to migrate 6 pokemon from the field-group, this is because they can be caught in grass. Then we enter pal park in the void, which overwrites the encountertables with the 6 migrated pokemon. Once 6 are caught, the game calls 3rd script in runtime, which should kick you from the pal park area under normal occasions.
We can however use this in other maps to call the scripts for darkrai, shaymin, uxie, azelf and way more!
The process of doing so requires a lot of knowledge, knowing how to route, which requires RAM-manipulation, writing tiles in the void, for which I only recently found a way to do this.

As stated in the beginning, you'll need to tweak into poketch.co. This is explained in my last video.
As always, this won't work in platinum as walls in the void prevent you from getting anywhere.
This route is 100% safe, if you messed up a step, just reset the game and try again from the last save. This route can be infinitely repeated and midway through you can repeat a small section of it to catch a second Arceus.

As in the last video, we carefully manipulated what maps we would encounter by going through a section of RAM corresponding to mapdata. This data includes npc's coordinates, warp ID's, flags, sprites... This data changes everytime you enter a map, essentially making you able to route to any map you'd like too.
This is why it's essential to not mess up any steps, especially in these instances: Step 2: 33 W Step 4: 243 E As the maps loaded here overwrite themselves, and going one step too much would break the entire chain needed. This route was written by me, ask any questions you'd like too down below.
Today I will be guiding you to darkrai, shaymin and cresselia by using the void glitch and battle tower voids.
This route is written by me, this is the fastest route possible utilising the current methods.
I am also already working on an arceus route which is quite a lot faster than the one by ganix, but uses the same idea.

technical details:
I won't be going over tweaking as this is not the main glitch used in this video, and was breifly covered in the video. Explaining how tweaking happens would take a long time.
The short version is that while the game is loading data, we load even more data but the game can't write fast enough, and copies the data that is already loading to the location of the last area you loaded.
Before you read this, you must know that the void is basicly RAM. Whenever you walk through the void, the game reads maps based on your RAM, which is why old routes were so dangerous. This route however uses RAM that is the same accros all games, regardless of gameplay.
Once we enter the void, we want to change our void to a sinnoh void as quickly as possible. Technically we could do this at 415 W instead of 574, but later on we have to avoid certain dangerous maps which means we still have to do the remaining steps.
When we do the last steps in sinnoh void (step 4) we enter a place in the void where it reads maps from loaded map objects. We enter an underground,(0002) which has sufficient data to load a battle tower (328) map underneath it.
we go 11 E before entering the map because this will be the easiest to navigate us later on.
The battle tower is usefull because it moves bytes forward by 8000, which causes us to be able to save in mystery zones. unfortunatly it also disables the stepcounter, but I hope my route is easy enough to understand anyway.
Once we are at the coordinates of where we want to be, we save in a mystery zone. All maps that are outdoors will put you in sinnoh, and mystery zone is also counted as an outdoors area. Otherwise none of this would be possible!

We'll be overwriting all collision in the map so we can walk through it as if we were using walk through walls action replay codes, which us loyal glitchers would never do to make an april fools video. (I'm serious here, this isn't an april fools vid lol)
By going to map 35, byrons gym, the game assigns 3d models for collisions to it, but this shouldn't be used in most maps. Only warps update this usually, so in the void this van overwrite huge portions of ram, although uncontrollably at least at the moment. We overwrite most collisionbased objects, such as trees and buildings and so on. It also overwrites the huge wall Gamefreak put around Sinnoh, making you able to enter sinnoh overworld from the void.
Tiles like water won't be affected. We can actually use this to change your Z value by surfing onto water, which makes us able to enter certain maps we can't otherwise because of heightbased walls.
Sadly more ram gets corrupted, if you reload graphics on hardware it will crash, which includes entering buildings and opening menus. Saving after performing this glitch will thrash your savefile, so we recommend not doing this.
