Back during summer I was messing around with Sunset Heights and when the stage got revealed to be in SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS, I just knew I had to make a Shadow-inspired arrangement of the song. Originally I was hoping to get it done before we got to hear how the song would sound in Shadow Generations - which I did, technically, but I couldn't get it recorded in time before the story trailer dropped. Because of this, there is no inspiration from the Shadow Generations remix of Sunset Heights. During mixing, my PC was at its knees, but I managed to push through and get it all finalized before SXSG's release. This is probably my new magnum opus, and I hope you enjoy it!

Honestly, I'm a bit embarrassed to release this after the Planet Wisp J-Rock remix. Last year, when we got our first glimpse of I'm Here in a Nintendo Direct, I tried to recreate and extend the song. Earlier this year, I decided to go back to that initial recreation, and fix it up to be accurate to the full song, purposefully keeping the sounds I used in the initial recreation. After sitting on the guitar solo for a while, I finally finished the updated recreation last week.
Maybe, some day, I'll do one final remix of the song.
