Wat Chetuphon and Wat Chedi Si Hong, Sukhothai G.V. Bangkok 2011-07-17 | Wat Chetuphon and Wat Chedi Si Hong are located some 2 kilometers south of the Historical City of Sukhothai. The are adjacent to each other. Wat Chetuphon features the remains of a large standing Buddha Image in a mandapa. At Wat Chedi Si Hong there are some still splendid remains of stucco decorations around the stupa. The two temples are the most interesting of the sites located south of Sukhothai. On Asoke Road, not too long ago, some traffic light were installed at zebra crossings. Some have stated that it is actually more difficult to cross the road now.
