Dunkirk - Escaping the Mole (Film Version) dashner .r 2017-12-05 | While I was a huge fan of Hans Zimmer's Dunkirk score, I was really disappointed to see the opening sequence marginalized into a simple suite (called "The Mole" on the soundtrack). You just can't beat the long, tense build up that the film version has.With a bit of tweaking I was able to extract a somewhat adequate version of the actual film arrangement from the film's 5.1 soundtrack. Since it's a direct rip from the film's audio mix, you'll have to forgive some background noise. Personally, I feel it adds a certain ambiance to the track. All credit to Hans Zimmer and Watertower Music for the score.

TFTVs i52 Production: Things I Was Proud Of dashner .r 2014-09-01 | A compilation of how I feel our team was able to advance production for North American TF2 for both online and LAN events, and hopefully set a new bar for TF2 productions in North America.1. Instant ReplayUtilizing a cost-effective solution for a vision mixer (vMix), we also gained the ability to have a seperate delayed video feed that allowed us to capture plays as we saw fit. Working with my camera man DavidTheWin, we quickly identified standout highlights in a match and were able to capture them for future use, whether it was a highlight reel at the end of the match or just playing them over a relevant interview.It was a feature that had never been seen before during a live streamed competitive match for TF2, and we were able to accomplish it with two $200 capture cards and a powerful software-based vision mixer when most professional productions achieved the same goal with $10,000+ pieces of hardware.2) Live Team CommsWhile the European TF2 scene is well acquainted with having live team comms available during a cast, the North American scene has rarely been able to see this side of a competitive Team Fortress 2 match, let alone during the most important event of the year for their scene.Thanks to EVE's mumble delay bots and the agreement of every team in the i52 invite group, we had constant access to team communication which were perfectly synced to the 90-second Source TV delay, available to our casters at the push of a button.The team comms were able to bring viewers right into the mumble servers of the teams, and first hand see what they were thinking and how they were feeling about a situation.3) Live RTMP Player CamsThe prospect of having live player cameras on every team throughout the tournament was an essential part of our dream to cover this event. Bringing the atmosphere of the LAN event and it's attendees, spectator and player elike, to the homes of the viewers was one of my highest priorities. However, due to logistical issues such as the placement of our main stage and the distance between us and the players, it seemed very unlikely we would be able to accomplish this without miles of video cabling.However, thanks to an ingenious idea by Arie of VTV, we were able to set up two camera units in the LAN hall communicating to nearby PCs, which then transmitted the video feeds to an RTMP server on the Multiplay network and could be received by our vision mixer as an input. These RTMP streams were delayed to be almost perfectly in sync with the in-game Source TV feed and our mumble comms from the players.This made two of the most exciting moments of the tournament (Harbleu's double kill to clinch Mixup's victory over Immunity and Epsilon's golden cap victory over Mixup) that much better as you were able to see the players react live to what was happening.4) i52 OutroA final montage edited live on the fly in our vision mixer with various replays and live footage to close out our coverage of the event, played over the Mirror's Edge Main Theme by Solar Fields. While a seemingly small part of the production, it allowed our production team and the viewers back home to have final look back at some of the greatest TF2 we had ever seen before we finally closed down our coverage of the event.
