Everything does not go according to plan but then, who says one has to have a plan. The best part of my YouTube is that it's real. You see what I saw. I hope you enjoy this short video about using bamboo to make some coffee on my spirit burner stove. I originally wanted to put he top piece over the bottom one to avoid just this type of problem. What I discovered is that the bamboo choices where limited to the ones you see, so I had to change the plan. I'll do better next time. I am glad I did as it has been really cold down in SC.I found one piece particularly interesting because it was so full of resin and a beautiful piece of wood. After traveling about 6 miles over a rough and rutted road, I decide to turn back when I see the road before me turn into a monster. It doesn't look all that bad on video, but in person I could tell it was going to be more than I was equipped for. The scenery and campsite was great along with the whole adventure.
