OKAY SO THIS IS BASICALLY A YEAR WORTH OF EDITING?? DID I GET BETTER? DEBATABLE. DO I CARE? SURPRISINGLY NOT AS MUCH AS I USED TO LMAO

if you're asking about the title of this collection, know i was dead set on using Atsumu as the thumbnail (too lazy to do one this time) but no titles would fit with this lil shit smug face kfjdsdnsf SO ATSUMU IS A FREAK IT WAS

The order of parts goes like this: i placed all my fav parts at the beginning and then i just used the Wheel to decide the order of the rest LOL who can guess where is the delimitation 👀

Decided not to include all collab parts (including intros i edited) bc then this collection would be more than 7 min and who wants that??

LIFE UPDATE?? LIFE UPDATEEEE

This year I made the decision when I came out of hiatus to leave a few studios, which was what i realized I needed because I'm a weak creature who can't handle too much stress, and being part of too many studios increased that sdksdf I only stayed in 3 and then saw SOS were opening auditions....and after weeks of debate with myself I decided to go for it and!!! GOT IN! WHICH STILL MAKES ME SOOO HAPPY but yeah, won't join a new studio and will keep to the few I'm in, this way I can be more active in them :D

So...i'm happier than I was last year, or the year before :D Mentally I'm just in such a better place (ignoring the occasional breakdown that hey, happens less often now). I truly hope this will continue the same in the future......plz don't let me jinx it LOL I just feel more settled in my own person and in relationships, and it's great. Uni is still killing me tho lol, and there is always anxiety looming over me about what to do in the future but yknow what? I'll cross that bridge when I get there. Editing wise, I'm probably in a personal projects slump and it used to bother me a lotttt but well, it be like that? I still enjoy editing very much and I'll let things fall as they will regarding inspiration and motivation for personal projects. I know this channel has kinda turned into just bday stuff in 2022 i love my friends a lot can you tell HAHA Otherwise- 3K subs milestone is coming soon (slowly, bc I see how bday stuff does Not attract new subs lol), so keep an eye out for a poll on the channel regarding what I'll be doing to celebrate that!

i lied the premiere is not today it's october 1st :) because this is very much a sad autumn vibes MEP and so october is more suited HAHAHA
(if im honest it's more so as many people that participated in this MEP can watch the premiere ❤)

so this is probably the biggest MEP i've ever hosted as in, it's Long and it took a Long time to finish FKDSJN partially my own fault oups

i've honestly lost count how many time I've watched this! everyone did such a magnificent job at breaking my heart with this *wipes tear away* im so proud of y'all

This song is so iconic and I've been wanting to edit it for forever but hosting an MEP with it felt like the best thing to do with this so!! hehe

Theme is pretty explanatory imo but: breaking up with someone/losing someone/trying to move on

I was pretty, scattered KJFDN in the planning/hosting for this- and ended up having higher expectations like usual because it's how it goes when you work with extremely talented editors who can give perfection to you- MY POINT BEING i was nitpicky when it came to colouring and scenes selection a lot BUT YOU GUYS DELIVERED SO GODDAMN WELL and IM SO SO HAPPY EVERY ONE OF YOU PARTICIPATED IN THIS PROJECTTTT ❤

Didn't need any backup and everyone was on time!!! It was just me, being late with editing the intro once again LOL hosting this was so fun!! still a bit stressful but everything is stressful to me KJFDJNSDF I loved having this lil server with you all for a few months where we could only identify each other through different tea names, truly beautiful. I hope to work on more projects with y'all one day!! (i say as if im not friends and in studios with 90% of the people in this)

I've had people ask me what is next, what will I host next and i . i won't . host ANYTHING. for the next few months IM EXHAUSTEDDDD i've been hosting non stop since january and sometimes 2 MEPs at a time dsfkjdnfndss i need a lil break LMAO but fear not, I will be back with a new signup! probably in start of 2023 hehe (fuck 2023 is close)

This was an IC we did in 3 days last weekend! and it turned out absolutely amazing even if we both get stressed out about this and finished like 1 min before midnight lmfaoo not smth new for me but Jade experienced it for the first time hahahaha- we decided the only way for us to actually finish a collab was to do an IC with a short timeframe to edit, otherwise it'd probably go unfinished forever........

All my friends are aware of my obsession for sports anime, but I feel like I never really showed my love for them properly in editing?? So editing this collab with Jade who loves sports anime like me was so good and i'm very glad we could do this!

This is far from my usual style tbh, as I tend to edit emotional raw rather than action + VO like this was, but it ended up being pretty fun hehe i'm happy with how my parts turned out (and finally put to use that baseball bat mask i did 3 years ago for another unfinished collab with a friend............) and i did end up masking for one typography at 2 hours before the deadline bc im. well i like to make myself suffer lmfao I WISH i could have included more sports anime but . and honestly, scene selection for this was so fucking hard i spent 3 days on it and only added effects and motions the last 2 hours before the deadline KJFDSSNKDJN if i could have, i would have slipped in my ships but dfksjdsnff wasn't able to.....i didn't even include Atsumu and that PAINS ME but Jade did at least so that's ok

personally, 'your side of the bed' is the song that made me discover Loote and it's one of my favourite songs as well so I'm very happy i finally got to edit it :DD it was really fun!! i actually finished my parts months ago but i still remember what a riot it was to experiment and edit hehe

The theme ended up being 'love triangle' without really meaning to bc the song just CALLS for that LOL all the angst ahhhh so good

THIS IS ITTTT AND I PICKED THIS SONG BC IT MADE ME THINK OF ABEMIHA’S WHOLE…..COMMUNICATION THING LOL for real they be struggling understanding each other so much, hoping their feelings will reach the other like a message in a bottle. Hehe.

LITERALLY, STARTED THIS PROJECT AND THE FIRST THING I DID WAS MASK AND DO FX I JUST- I never do this, you know me. But somehow it was so fitting, plus I used some typography you taught me!! And ANDD I INSPIRED MYSELF OF YOUR AMAZING AMVS TOO HAHAHAHA you’re always such an inspiration

So I actually discovered Sasaki to Miyano 3 years ago!! At the time there weren’t many chapters yet so I hadn’t gotten really attached and in my usual fashion, forgot to keep up with it SDKFJSDNF but I had a good impression of the manga and it was shelved on my ‘to catch up on one day’ list in the back of my head- but then, then I saw the anime announcement and I was HYPEDD but held on and didn’t catch up, I wanted to watch the first ep first see? So that’s what I did……and then I caved a few days later and binge read all the chapters available LOL and what can I say other than goddamn my life feels so fulfilled rn because of this manga, but so empty too bc I want MOREEE KFDSSF it’s so so soooo good!! It shot up to my list of favourite mangas ever!! Highly recommend it! It’s as wholesome as can be and touches subjects you don’t normally see in BL too! Like consent. Ohoh.

Tbh I’ve been kinda sad and mad since ystrd bc apparently…..people are cancelling miyano……I won’T get into it now bc I will get into a full blown rant but omg…..people are so stupid. Plz ignore that ugly discourse over how apparently now it’s a red flag for a closeted bi (people say he’s gay but I think he’s bi since he had a crush on a girl before) guy to enjoy BL, AND JUST RUN TO WATCH THE ANIME IF YOU HAVN’T YET!! Sadly couldn’t edit them more : (( I’m very sad (this won’t be the last time I’m sad over not being able to edit more for you) anyway funny story, originally I was planning on editing the first verse instead of the second one I had even started scene selection and all!!! BUT THEN :D WELL YOU KNOW ME :D I CHANGED IT LIKE SUNDAY SDFKJKJ the day of your bday, yes. So I spent some time replacing the clips I had already chose like a puzzle pieces sfdkj Hence the hybrid child scenes- honestly wasn’t sure if it fit but then the rinharu part fit right after coincidentally and they just look very neat together, the white bg and flowers floating around yknow XDD (sorry for not being original for rinharu clips KJFND) ………. *sigh* sasunaru. You did ofc know I was gonna edit this for you but. Smh, I’m mad it’s actually pretty. And also the thumbnail. Bc aesthetics. But the important is you like it and that’s all that matters regardless of my pETTY FEELINGS KSFDJ REALLY LOVED THE FLASHBACK THING I DID and also damn why did the scenes fit so well KJFDSSJ it was against my will too fun to do. aight- it is life update time

So I've been very much less active in the past few months haha
2020 and first half of 2021 have been very rough for me in retrospective. There was a lot of change in my life, some good, some bad and so I've been an emotional and unstable mess and it hasn't been very pretty but I'm ok now. I'm probably better than I've been in 2 years and it's, it's nice. I don't know how long it'll last but yeah... So where does this leave me with editing? I have...no idea. Editing was a big help for me in 2020, I edited all the time, to escape, to feel better, to procrastinate lol- But it also left me very tired, drained of inspiration, motivation or energy. So i went on hiatus in every studios, and stopped taking mep parts unless it was for bdays, with the occasional collab. I tried to focus on personal projects to spark back some of the editing joy I used to have all the time and it didn't work out as I wished it did. Well, not so far at least. I distanced myself from editing, and instead focused on uni when I started again in september, which explains why I haven't posted much. I'll be honest and say that even though I have multiple projects in the work, I have no idea when or if they'll be finished. I'll really, go with whatever I feel like now, and I hope to eventually get out of this editing slump. I just want it to be over tbh, but idk when that would be and so I'll take all the time I need to rest I hope you guys don't mind hahaha- I'll still participate in bday projects (bc i love my friends too much) but yeahhh fdkjsdnf but hey who knows, maybe i'll suddenly come out of the blue with a random ass amv looool- anyWAY THAT WAS THE SERIOUS LIFE UPDATE TALKKK TIME TO LIST THE PARTSSSS

In 2019 I edited a vietnamese song because I’m vietnamese (even tho i don’t really speak the language, woes of second gen immigrant) but this year i decided if i was gonna do smth, it’d have to be french. sHHH I KNOW THIS SONG HAS A FEW LINES IN ENGLISH AND THE TITLE IS IN ENGLISH TOO BUT SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH it works bc I’m from a bilingual country ofc ofc lmfao- this song has been in my playlist since 2014, it was a trip to edit it hahaha i also had this realization ystrd that it was a french canadian (quebecois) band and i just- my brain could not compute bc dumbass me thought it was a french or american band somehow idk. Aaah also, this song is so not known that I had to figure out the lyrics by ear and i'm terrible at it so i apologize

the funny story behind this is that I tried to watch daiya for like the fourth time a few months ago (april i think??) and then....dropped it again after episode 19 or smth (i watched half with x2 speed too KFEJDF) then went to ao3 to read fics out of spite.....thEN I JUST....NEVER STOPPED................. SDFKJNKSFDN HELP IDK WHAT HAPPENED I JUST- this ship, miyuki x sawamura freaking ambushed me and has had me in a chokehold ever since this is so RUDE plz (*cries in how i've read 300+ fics of them when i haven't really watched the source material WTF IS WRONG WITH ME*) AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

anyway yes. i then decided to edit them around end of may? i think? this project has been in the work longer than i thought for a mere 1 min ish. smh. i thought i was finished with it so many times but then i just....kept adding more effects and stuff?? QAQ i did lots of research to edit this. so many hours spent researching through amvs, tweets, tumblr and pinterest at some point, taking screenshots and passing through an anime search thing hoping it'd work (it did half the time) and then retaking a screenshot of the result for my notes folder to find moments back, and finally downloaded (and sometimes converted) the episodes IT WAS SO LONG AND TIRINGGGGG AND I CAN'T EVEN SAY IF IT WAS WORTH IT?????? (at least i helped one of my fav content creators on twitter find what ep was a certain scene EVEN THO I DIDN'T WATCH THE DAMN ANIME I JUST KNEW IT GODDAMNIT)

idk what it says about me that i didn't hate editing this. it was actually pretty fun.

AAAAAA FIRST PERSONAL PROJECT UPLOADED IN MORE THAN 3 MONTHS SFKDJSDNF but yusss here it is! the 'apple pie' project i was talking about and you guys voted for me to finish first pfff

soooo the theme of this amv was 'finding home' and not in the literal sense but more in the 'finding friends, a lover or family that become home' AKA FOUND FAMILY HELL YEAH

but this amv didn't start off with a theme or even a want to finish it and make it a proper project- it started with me in december last year, alone in my apartment 2 hours away from everyone i know, feeling so homesick. But then I had finals to study for and other things to finish so I left this project on the side. I came back to it every time I needed a bit of comfort, unsure where I wanted to bring the editing to but just content adding things. It's funny to me how I ended up including a lot of the brainrots I got into the past few months (link click being the most recent)- i almost made this amv 40 seconds longer but i decided against it because well I did want to wrap this amv soon XDD Today i'm months away from the me who started this project, but also miles away from the situation I was in. No worries i'm feeling all better now! The timing is perfect for me finishing this personal project of mine because I'm soon moving in with my brother, closer to home and people I love and I'm pretty sure I'll be happier. Welp this turned sooo sappy LMAO shoutout to people who read my long af descriptions every time i appreciate you pfff

This project is pretty special to me, more than Maybe Don't that was my 'special 2K' MEP lol- bc it's the one that allowed me to meet my fellow braincells 🥺 (well half of them anyway) ILY GUYSSS- but but but, asides from my fellow dumbasses, this MEP also allowed me to meet more new amazing people!! I really, didn't expect this XD the chaos the server was in at the start was 👌 FRUITS PUNS FTW LMAO- It's amazing really, thank you everyone for participating (and thank you Ciel for being the extra push to make me actually host this) ❤

SO SO SOOO THIS NEW COLLECTION!!! is, a painful reminder i had to keep myself from auditioning for Yaoi Revolution Studio, I'm in true pain......it's a studio i've been following since forever and this year was a time where i felt confident enough about my skills to try out? But I'm currently trying to find a way to, not die every time i have a deadline and handle the stress editing is giving me and getting out of this insidious slump that has been dogging me for a long time now. People are right in saying now is not the time to audition for a studio, even less one as big as YRS, where I know i'd get stressed out even more. So well, RIP to me and I hope future Ame is gonna be more ready when auditions open againnn

GENERAL THOUGHTS ABOUT THIS COLLECTION IS that I, am getting more efficient at editing decent stuff without liking it. AAAAAAAAAAA SO THIS ONE IS THE BITTERSWEET ONE I WS TALKING ABOUT BUT REWATCHING IT- yeah no this is pretty much comfort ft. tiny bit of hurt but I think it compensates quite nicely with ‘I have questions’ that was just pure HURT sprinkled with PAIN and DEATH

Okok so Memorable Film is the one that just edited itself somehow. Editing it just felt, nice. All the good feels yknow?? THO THE CUTTING SONG PART WAS A HEADACHE KSDJFN MARI CAN BE WITNESS TO THAT she was the temporary self control and self named ‘damage control’ for all the amvs btw (ft. Gigi) lmaooo ANYWAY yes the song, I initially wanted to edit like almost 3 min of it (so it would have included another verse and, more instrumental) but then I had to reduce it until there was only a pre-chorus, chorus, bridge and second chorus AND RATHER THAN ADDING CLIPS TO THE ALREADY THERE AUDIO I ADDED NATSUME CLIPS TO THE INSTRUMENTAL THAT WASN,T THERE so I ended up adding 20 seconds more, you’re welcome :D

the ‘your lie in april’ part was the first one I edited, like scenes and effects sfdkj but I think my favourite part is the end chorus, that starts with Rinharu and ends with banana fish- something about that part just feels, so soothing- NO I’M KIDDING IT’S BC THERE IS TENKI NO KO AND I WAS SOOO CLOSE TO PLUG IN AME THE CAT AT THE ‘rain’ LYRICS SDKLFJN same for the start with tgcf buT THIS ONE WAS THE STRONGEST URGE SKDJFD okok so I also like how it flows too

Sooooo this one was the last one I started, I actually started on the 29th itself hehe- because at first I wanted to edit Wasted Roses but somehow when I got to it (even tho I had ideas and inspiration) I just, couldn’t edit it. I was stuck. BUT I COULDN’T GIVE UP AND NOT EDIT AN ANGST FOCUSED AMV FOR YOU??? BC YOU’RE MO??? So I searched through my playlist as well as yours to find an angsty song that inspired me and fit most of the things you liked and that I couldn’t include in the other parts and this song just, happened kjsfdkjn I have nooo idea if you know the song or like it but it’s, sad, so there pffff this was supposed to be like 50 seconds but it got longer, oups

THIS YEAR I HAVE BEEN SO NOT SUBTLE, AT ALL. I AM SORRY. I’m terrible at keeping secrets, did you notice. I’m too excited for surprises to really work more than once. So yeah, K project, surprise surprise lol- editing k project was so weird because I did watch the show 2 years ago but I remember NOTHING, at ALL. I was like? Hmm? Why do they look like the meme “fuck you” “fuck me yourself you coward” and the “you want to kiss me so bad it makes you look stupid”? Why are they fighting? Do they hate each other or is this sexual tension? Also I forgot how whack the original colouring of the anime was. Like. tf? ANYWAY then there was the soukoku part, which I actually like a lot, and yes the question of soukoku vs daizai and chuuya I asked was to decide on a thumbnail. Probably. :)

HMMMMM I WISH THIS CHORUS I EDITED (the second one) HAD THE THRID QUESTION LINES TOO :(((( BUT I COULDN’T INCLUDE IT there is a 10 seconds straight ships intermission in the middle, I’m laughing so much I hadn’t planned for it to be like that- Akatsuki no yona felt fitting enough too pfff BUT MAN, THOSE LYRICS : why don’t you care, I gave you all of me, my blood my sweat my heart, and my tears WERE SO FUCKING HARD TO EDIT KSDFJSFJND UGHHH I CHANGED THE CLIPS (and the ones surrounding that segment) SO MANY TIMES AND AAAAAAAAA finally YOI came in, and well, it works, kinda. I liked how the clip of Yuuri crying fit in well with WWX yelling- that’s mostly the reason why I kept it lol talking about mdzs do you see the manipulation HAH- then sabigiyuu bc ofc, was a must. We need more clips smh.

Ah RIGHT Gureshin (ignore how random the first 2 clips are in middle of Akatsuki no yona and YOI) THAT WASN’T PLANNED LMAO I JUST WANTED TO FIND CLIPS TO FILL IN AND WAS LIKE ‘wait a goddamn minute maybe that ship works even tho I don’t know it’ and well it did ksdjfd ofc, jubaru had to be included (lowkey made the amv longer just so I could add more stuff including jubaru bc what is your bday WITHOUT JUBARU) and basically that part with gureshin, jubaru and k project is the ‘inherent erotism of being pointed/stabbed by your love interest’s sword ohoh

HEHEHEHEH AND WE FINISH IT OFF WITH, FATEEEEE SURPRISE S UR P RI S E HAHAHAHA (thank you Mari for helping me find all the exact clips in what episodes with timestamps skfjf) SO YOU KNOW HOW THE END OF THE SONG HAS THOSE WHISPERS, WELL I DECIDED TO ADD A VOICEOVER ON TOP TO ADD MORE INTENSITY WHICH BLENDS IN QUITE NICELY I THINK AND THEN the scream :D heheehehe I Iaughed every time I watched it bc creating pain is always more fun- I added the radio like effect towards the end so it could mask the bg music but I think it also, worked pretty well hehe Honestly tho I’m not sure I like how I edited the Fate part but at this point………I don’t have all eternity to wallow in self doubt BECAUSE THIS IS SO LATEEE

haha so to the people I’ve been venting about my depression/hatred of editing, err, surprise? I think I’m on the road to be better, starting with editing with what ‘feels fun’ rather than how ‘it should look better’ :D I’m still feeling dead inside concerning my deadlines tho lol

Bakuten!! is the surprise of the season for me, like SK8 was in winter pffff- only two episodes but I really love it already. Please watch it and scream with me!! Every character is so precious and ughhhh my heart is full

The animation for episode 2 was gorgeous, it totally inspired me to edit again which was sooo nice

I was smiling while editing this, feeling good about myself for once! so this project is now my baby, I love it, nothing anybody says matters (as it should be)

Zooms, blurs, twixtor, voiceovers, soft contrast, old film effects and overlays….all things I have a hard time controlling once I get focused on one- well FUCK IT I didn’t feel like doing as usual, or following whatever style/format I have been doing. This amv is a mess of movement and effects thrown together but who cares lol THE SCENE SELECTION WAS THE MOST FUN TO DOOOO I’m gonna try and destroy, one by one, every internalized rule about editing I’ve made, hehehehe

J'étais trooooop contente de t'avoir eu pour ce projet!! J'avais déjà fait ma recherche et préparation pour éditer pour toi datant de juin dernier donc c'état parfait à ce côté-là aussi pfffff (et puis après j'ai pERDU mes notes, peux-tu le croire, j'avais écrit toutes les scènes importantes et où les trouver et j'AI PERDU TOUT ÇA je voulais me tuer looool)

J'ai eu un peu de difficulté à commencer cet amv, je n'étais pas certaine de quelle chanson prendre (j'avais cette playlist d'une douzaine de chansons haha) puis j'ai commencé à couper l'audio pour Love like that par Lauv, vraiment excitée car la chanson est juste 👌 et le potentiel pour angst/bittersweet était encore plus 👌👌👌 et là j'ai carrément, bloqué. OTL RIP. J'avais pris une extension en plus mais non, rien à faire, ça marchait pas T_T J'ai changé la chanson hmmmm 2 jours avant le deadline lmao mais hEYYY TOUT S'EST BIEN PASSÉ FINALEMENT HAHA cette chanson de The Script m'a vraiment inspirée et c'est juste une chanson vraiment trop adorable QAQ trop de fluff i'm dying can u believe this-
