I crunched this out in like four hours, please don't expect much sgshgksdhdhfd but I really got hit by the feels and I HAD to do something about it- tbh there were a lot of songs I had ideas for, but I went with this one because it always gives me a feeling of happiness and I really need that right now. I'm sad enough on my own, don't need to make it worse by editing angst, y'know?? But I still wanted to show how special this game is and the warm feelings it gives me and I hope I managed that despite everything.

To be fair, I already edited Mikrokosmos with a similar vibe before and that one was a lot... less messy, but I once again want to say how much I love this game. I'm so grateful Ace rambled about it to me and I got interested for whatever reason- It's been almost two years now... and I'm still here. I'm struggling now with the EN server closed because I'm bad at keeping up with translations, but a good chunk of that same happiness still remains just from looking at the new images. I love these characters so much and I'm devastated to see them gone (in the server I understood the language of). I put so much emotional labour, money and lack of sleep into that account and I don't regret it but it still hurts to know it will all be... gone in less than 24 hours. I will miss you, my precious cards. Thank you for the great two years together.

Sadly the interest this year has hit a new low so it resulted in the project not even reaching one minute. I'm sorry for anyone who has been excited for more, but I hope you'll enjoy the two contributions regardless!

Even after all these years, Rocketshipping is still very precious to me and I think it will always have a part of my soul until the day I die. It makes me happy to share this love with others, to pay tribute to it with this project and to see others appreciate them as well, either through an edit or watching this ongoing project! I don't regret starting this day six years ago... wow. I've just been a baby with a big dream at the time and it brings me joy to see what that idea resulted in.

Thank you to everyone who has contributed to Rocketshipping Day over the years, whether that be as editors, viewers or other forms of content creators on other websites. I'm glad I was able to share this with all of you.

That being said, I have decided that this will be the last time I will host the Rocketshipping Day Worm in this shape and form. I was concerned with the decline in interest that naturally happened over the years, but it has now hit a point where I am unable to make it work anymore. I love hosting this project, but I can't do it alone. This is not an accusation towards anyone who considered joining this year but didn't, not at all! I'm not mad at or blaming any of you, it has simply been the general lack of participation that has established itself by now.

None of that means that Rocketshipping Day itself will disappear. I will certainly continue to edit for it yearly and anyone is free to reach out to me if they would like to collab or have any other ideas! You can make your own edits for this day and tell me about them. I was thinking of creating a public playlist with all Rocketshipping Day content, so it stays easily accessible even when I'm not uploading it together anymore. I told myself I would do this and I actually did it. It didn't have to be almost a minute long but I guess I'm insane like that!! But all that aside... welcome to my love letter to this game I suppose?

As you can see in the video (maybe) it is my 500th log in day into A3!! And MEP parts be damned I wanted to do something for this occasion so here I am at an ungodly hour, uploading this after a full night crunch of editing. Who needs proper planning for your project when you can just pull a last minute all-nighter, am I right?

Either way, that's not what's important today. A3 is important. Very important to me actually, it's kind of stupid how much I love this game and these characters. It's definitely a comfort franchise to me and when I once called it my adult Pokemon (on a day where I was as sleep deprived as I am now), well... maybe there was something to that.

To be honest with you, I fall out of media so quickly,, No matter if it's a game or an anime or a movie, I either think about it for like a week or two months at most or I never get invested in it at all. So me playing something religiously for 500 days, even when some of those days are just mindless grinding and soul crushingly bad gacha pulls? That's a huge deal, especially with my track record.

I don't know why I got so invested in this, but here I am and I'm grateful for it. A3 was a lot of firsts for me... There are a lot of warm memories all over these characters for me, hours upon hours of shared brainrot with friends and even some painful memories... but I cherish them all. This might sound cheesy, but thank you A3 for giving me so much. I never expected it to be like this when I first downloaded the game... I'm more of an RPG or fantasy type of person after all and except for some play themes A3 is really neither of those things sdjghjsdkjgjskgd. But don't fix what's not broken and all that. A3 is my BELOVED and for as long as my brain lets me have this, I will treasure this fixation.

I wanted to upload a pride collection for years, but it just never lined up with my uploading schedule (read: me collecting parts until I hit an unjustifiable number). Well, this time I took extra care it worked out!! It's sadly not the longest thing ever because I was dying this month but hey, it's something. I started out liking it, but a 40 second audio cut does things to your creativity so the last bit looks very very lame. I'd apologise, but it's what the man deserves. Does something classify as a vent edit, even if it was made almost 24 hours after feeling vent-y? Who knows!! But that's basically what it is. Deteriorating mental health go brr, but I think we're all feeling it with lockdown and the stress of everything else piling up.

I was thinking about this project idea last night too and I still felt like doing it now, so that must count for something. The way I feel about Shimamura is really complex honestly, because I FEEL her, but at the same time I don't? I suppose the best way to put it is that we share similar struggles with similar consequences, yet different reasons for those things. I don't really agree with her attitude, but some of her flaws were uncomfortably familiar... It's something I've felt insecure about for a while too, so seeing it presented on screen even to some extend was an interesting experience.

Other than me being edgy, I really like how this turned out despite the easy-going raw. ngl most of it gets carried by the song because I'm in love with it sdgjsjdghsdkg but yeah, lesbian rights!!

Of COURSE I had to make a birthday edit for Omi as well after the one for Taichi as they are both my best boys who I would gladly and readily die for so... here we are!
