Made in Renoise (I also need to figure out a good way of capturing any future tunes made on it :P )
Sorry about the weird aspect ratio as this uses a lot of channels in mpt.
Features a guitar solo from Danimal Cannon.
Originally composed as a kind-of tribute to Neil Armstrong

*Playback for the FTM is most accurate in 0CC-FT 0.3.9, as it makes use of the 'detune' function. It plays back fine in FT vanilla, but just without the detune.

Once again, obvious syncing issues are obvious because
The album is PWYW. BUUUT, all money gained by this album will go to the Child's Play Charity (childsplaycharity.org). So, if you can, throw in a quid or ten; it's going to a good cause :)
As for the description of my track, it's about TrueStar and Nugget being the ultimate crime-fighting duo :D
(also, anyone not watching in HD, the quality will probably be terrible, sorry :/ )

Apologies for the out-of-sync video. My laptop still won't record sound, so once again I had to overdub the video recording with the track. I also can't access my website database for some reason, but as soon as I can, mp3's for this and my other famicompo entry will be on asap.
In the meantime, why not give this a download? : http://fearofdark.bandcamp.com

"A brave, courageous hero sets out to slay the notorious, fire-bodied dragon, in order to restore peace to his home village. In order to reach him, he has to ascend the dragon's 42 floor tower, overcoming obstacles and traps along the way."
My famicompo mini 9 original entry. 4th place out of 48 :)
A slight change from the usual VRC6 fare.

As for this song, this is track 6 from the album. The song itself was inspired by a trip to New York city, hence the title "Fast City." Artwork at the end was made by Jordan Chewing, who's portfolio can be viewed here : http://djvenom.deviantart.com
Unfortunately, my laptop for some reason didn't want to record sound, so I had to place the actual song over the top of the recorded video. So, not the most authentic of playbacks, but hopefully it shall suffice.
Enjoy! :)
This tune never gets old :D

One of four entries into Winter Chip VII... this one came 6th overall (3rd place in the NSF catagory) and was my best entry. Insanely high-standard this year from many of the formats. No expansions this time... :P

A first attempt at making a song on Raster Tracker (which emulates the Atari Pokey chip). The first thing that became apparent was how horrible the detuning was on high notes, or on certain distortion settings (I'd read about this previously). The best way around this was to make the detuning part of the whole composition, or just to pretend it doesn't exist:P I also didn't realise that the filter requires 2 channels to operate at first (and therefore cuts all of the sound from one channel), which is an interesting limitation to work around.
That, and the tracker itself isn't the most user friendly. Took me a while to learn how to make instruments (I started off using presets and then adapting them/changing values etc). You can get some pretty fun sounds though :)
Raster Tracker also decided it didn't want to record audio whenever I tried video recording, so instead here's a crunchy emulatored version.
This is also one of 4 BotB Winter Chip VII entries submitted this year (Placed 17th overall, but won the SAP catagory :D)...

This one placed 27th.. which is pretty good going seeing as there were 72 cover entries this year! Heard through Rainwarrior's fix of NSFPlay, so you can see what all the waveforms, through I recommend VirtuaNSF or Famitracker for better playback.
