This is a reimagining of a short film I made at USC. Check out my website www.hammrproductions.com for other films.When I first made this film at USC it was in the first year of film school. The assignment was no more than $1,000 and must be shot in Four Days and using two teammates chosen by the school to produce and do the cinematography. We also had a time limit of 5 minutes. So I always wanted to go back and retell this in a different way.Originally I was able to speak with Frank Capra III (Frank's grandson) who signed off on the film. "It's A Wonderful Life" became public domain in the early 1970s and went on to become the most popular Christmas film of all time.
