Platform board can use direct drive, or second power plane and switching transistors. The tiny speaker is direct drive (a few milliamps) and the rgb led is gated. This, to be installed plaster replicas of the Trylon and Perisphere from the 1939 Worlds Fair, in New York.

The "launch" sound is a broken watch whose governer had failed. The exterior photos are of Flushing Meadows, leftover architecture from the 1964 World's Fair, taken in 1991. The radiator is from Steve's apartment, in 2005... but looks just like the one I grew up with.
