Joe BrockDr. Thomas Seyfried is a professor of biology, genetics and biochemistry at Boston College, Massachusetts, and author of more than 150 peer-reviewed publications, as well as the 2012 book Cancer As A Metabolic Disease.
In this interview, Professor Seyfried delves into the fundamental concepts of cancer biology, exploring the origin of cancer cells and their distinction from normal cells. Professor Seyfried explains how mitochondrial damage, triggered by various factors, serves as a pivotal catalyst in cancer development.
Traditionally, cancer treatment has centered on genetic and environmental factors, relying heavily on chemotherapy and radiation. However, Professor Seyfried posits that viewing cancer as a metabolic disease offers a paradigm shift in treatment strategies. By starving cancer cells of glucose and glutamine, and leveraging the metabolic benefits of the ketogenic diet, Professor Seyfried advocates for a novel approach to cancer management. Join us as we unravel the complexities of cancer biology and explore groundbreaking avenues for cancer prevention and treatment.

According to the 1990 Guinness World Record Book, Howard Berg holds the incredible title of the fastest reader, able to read an astonishing 80 pages per minute and a staggering 25,000 words per minute.
Here is what the 1990 Guinness World Record Book Says: Reading Fast: 80 pages (25,000 words) per min is the supersonic “reading” speed claimed by Howard Stephen Berg (b 1949, Brooklyn, NY), who has convinced a number of TV hosts that he comprehends and remembers what he has scanned, perhaps not the details, but the concepts, with the details left for a later, slower reading. He teaches speed reading and gives lectures throughout N America on using the unused part of one’s brain.
There are a lot of questions I have. Is this real? Does Mr. Berg actually read every word? Is he reading word for word or is he skipping most words and just selecting certain words?
How does Mr. Berg maintain comprehension and retention while reading at such high speeds? How does one even achieve such lightning-fast reading speeds?
In this video, we dive deep into the mind of Howard Berg to unravel the mystery behind his extraordinary abilities. In this captivating interview, we explore one of the most perplexing aspects surrounding this ancient linen cloth – the mysterious aged bloodstains imprinted upon its surface. Previous studies have revealed a plethora of information about these bloodstains, suggesting their authenticity through the presence of various blood components.
However, questions still remain: why do these blood stains appear more reddish than expected for aged blood? Dr. Kearse sheds light on this intriguing conundrum, examining two prevailing hypotheses. Could the reddish hue be attributed to the residual coating of Saponaria, a softening agent used in ancient linen processing? Or does it result from the high bilirubin content in the blood, indicative of severe physical trauma?
As Dr. Kearse critically evaluates these hypotheses, he shares unexpected findings from his research. Moreover, the presence of glycerin in pre-treated material can unexpectedly influenced bloodstain color. With a scientific perspective, Dr. Kearse scrutinizes the implications of these findings for the evaluation of bloodstains on the Shroud of Turin. Join us as we embark on a thought-provoking journey into the mysteries surrounding the iconic Shroud of Turin.
