We visited the Westgate Las Vegas (formerly International/Hilton) and followed the footsteps of the king 56 years later.We start at the 'Imperial' Sky Villa on the 30th floor that today was a partial footprint of the Elvis suite then take you on the same path that Elvis walk through the hotel to get to his dressing room and showroom for his performances. Always Elvis Fan Club Festival 1997 Always Elvis 2025-07-20 | July 19, 1997 was a historic day in Always Elvis Fan Club history.The fan club had done many wonderful tribute events over the years but for the 20th anniversary of Elvis passing we officially did our first convention and concert that included Elvis' original back up group the Jordanaires with lead vocals from Jimmy Ellis (Orion) who had recorded on the Sun Label with Shelby Singleton. The event benefited our local charity Dream Come True.I had never produced an event of this caliber before but it is an experience I will never forget. The day would begin with a convention that brought Elvis collectors from all around the east coast U.S. and Canada.On a personal level the event brought many connections in the Elvis community. Robert Klein (TCB Photos), Phil Gelormine and Dave Wolven (Elvis World), Bill Baker and many more attended the event that from that point forward brought lifelong friendships.That afternoon I had an opportunity to interview the Jordanaires and Jimmy Ellis about their careers and time with Elvis. In addition, fans were able to ask questions directly as well.The evening concert auditorium was filled to capacity as 'Orion' and the Jordanaires paid tribute to Elvis performing songs throughout Elvis career.The Jordanaires and Orion even signed autographs on conclusion of the concert.Here is a short clip on some of the happenings during the event.🎥: Courtesy Phil Gelormine

There were multiple camera angles filmed during this concert, with this particular footage coming from the left stage camera. At one point in this video can see the camera man taking the right side footage (sneaking out behind guitarist James Burton).As many Elvis fans are aware there is a lot of unreleased footage that was taken during filming of the documentary that fans are hoping will be released.
