Malibu Creek Cliff Jumping 6 1 13 losangelesswimmin 2013-07-03 | Music: Boredom by Bad AnticsThe Rock Pools are located along Malibu Creek in the State Park near Calabasas, California. The hike takes about 20 minutes from the parking lot to the giant swimming hole. Cliffs range from 10-60 feet. In spring the pool is about 10 feet deep then shallows out to around 7 feet by the end of summer. Always check for submerged rocks and tree branches. Bring lots of water and pack out all your trash.
Hermit Falls Cliff Jumping 6 15 13 losangelesswimmin 2013-06-22 | Music: The Accident by Enewetak Hermit Falls is a cliff jumping spot in the greater Los Angeles area. It is located along Santa Anita Creek near the town of Arcadia. The trailhead begins at Chantry Flat and winds 2 miles down Santa Anita Canyon to a 40 foot waterfall. There is a swimmin hole above the falls with cliffs ranging from 10-40 feet, the pool below the falls has jumps from 20-60 feet. If you plan to come during the summer parking is a hectic shit-show. You will most likely park an extra mile down the road making the total hiking distance 6 miles.
