In today's video, I'm doing a vintage reveal with a Ferragamo bag, specifically the iconic Gancini top handle bag! This has been on my vintage archive list for ages, inspired by Babsi Goes Vintage @BabsiGoesVintageENG

You won't believe it, but I actually bought a FAKE Ferragamo Gancini bag on TheRealReal a year ago! I'm sharing the storytime of that embarrassing experience, how I dealt with TheRealReal, and the lessons I learned about authenticating vintage designer bags.

After that ordeal, I was still on the hunt and finally got the real deal – a beautiful vintage Ferragamo clear acrylic top-handle Gancini bag! Join me for the reveal as I show you all the details of this unique piece, including its construction with the heavy-duty magnet and the inner pouch. I'll also discuss why I chose this specific Ferragamo style, which feels like "me" compared to the more ladylike versions.

DIY Louis Vuitton Cleaning: Can Oxygen Bleach Save This Vintage Bag?!

In this video, join me as I tackle the challenge of cleaning a vintage Louis Vuitton handbag! I decided to take on this DIY bag restoration project using a surprising cleaning agent: oxygen bleach. You'll see the entire process as I attempt to remove dirt and stains from this pre-loved Louis Vuitton cotton canvas bag, which I purchased on eBay for a steal at $350.

Inspired by the Laundry Evangelist @thelaundryevangelist on YouTube, I'm putting oxygen bleach to the test on this vintage LV bag. This video documents my cleaning experiment to see if chlorine-free, color-safe oxygen bleach (Molly's Suds Lavender scented) can revive this handbag without damaging the cotton canvas material or affecting the leather piping.

Watch as I mix a solution of oxygen bleach and warm water and use a natural horse hair bristle brush for spot cleaning the exterior of the bag, focusing on areas with visible staining. You'll see me carefully work on the dirty edges and even attempt to clean the zipper edge. I even try to tackle some stains on the interior canvas using both the oxygen bleach solution and a separate stain remover (Miss Mouth's Stain Treater).
