Warren Haynes Talks “Tales of Ordinary Madness,” Gov’t Mule & Guitar | Rock & Review FOX17 Rock & Review 2026-06-17 | Warren Haynes, Grammy award winning artist, joined the Rock & Review with Eric Dahl to discuss his tour and new re-mixed and re-mastered "Tales of Ordinary Madness" album. Haynes wrapped up his Winter of Warren tour and dove right into a tour with Gov't Mule and stints with the Warren Haynes Band. This summer he is co-headlining a major tour with blues guitar slinger Joe Bonamassa. Warren worked with the Gibson guitar company to release his 2025 Gibson Warren Haynes Les Paul Standard and is now in the works on a Firebird model. Haynes is also planning for his 34th Annual Christmas Jam in his native Ashville supporting Habitat for Humanity which has already built over 50 homes there.
Thomas Dolby Reveals the Story Behind “She Blinded Me with Science” | Rock & Review FOX17 Rock & Review 2026-06-15 | Thomas Dolby, cutting edge New Wave artist, joined the Rock & Review with Eric Dahl to discuss his hit songs and the Totally Tubular Festival tour! Dolby also shared the back story about his hit song "She Blinded Me with Science" and the popular music video he designed. Thomas gained his nickname "Dolby" from the filter on cassette recorders and players. He has played on session work for Foreigner, Def Leppard, the Thompson Twins and Belinda Carlisle. In 1990 Dolby founded Headspace and he was the music director for TED Talk from 2001-2012. When he isn't out on tour Thomas is also a professor at Peabody Music. Thomas Dolby his currently on the Totally Tubular Festival tour and this fall will be working with Symphonies.
Ruby James Talks “Call It Rock & Roll,” Rock Music & Songwriting | Rock & Review FOX17 Rock & Review 2026-06-12 | Ruby James, Rock & Soul artist, joined the Rock & Review with Eric Dahl with her new album releasing in August “Call it Rock & Roll.” Mule Kick Records is behind this music project and Kyle Crusham, multi-instrumentalist, produced it. Several singles have been released ahead of the album including "Voodoo Queen" and "Bumblebee." Guests on the project include Rosie Flores and Eddie Spaghetti. James was born in LA and spent time in Orlando, Austin and New Orleans. Now she splits time between Nashville and Door County, Wisconsin when not out touring or in the studio. Anderson is best known for playing her 20-string harp guitar and has been acknowledged by Guitar Player Magazine as one of the 50 noteworthy guitarists of all time. Muriel was also the first woman to win the National Fingerstyle Guitar Championship. She puts on a yearly concert for over 30 years known as Muriel Anderson's All Star Guitar Night. The album was recorded in 1965 before he was part of Jefferson Airplane and his a live album titled "Wabash Avenue." Before joining JA Jorma was a backup guitarist for Janis Joplin. Rolling Stone magazine ranked Kaukonen as one of the 100 Greatest Guitarists. Jorma is also in discussions with Jack Casady to take Hot Tune back on the road.
