How many people in this review stand by their words? Guess I was a bit ahead of the curve in my distaste for the film. I think I was pretty kind to it all things considered. It's interesting to note that even back at that very first viewing I wasn't buying into the hype, and I can still stand by my words today. I didn't care for the characters then or now. Also interesting for me personally is the fact that my only other actual TV appearance is along with Alan Frio again from Hard Copy!

I'm presenting it here because it's long out of print and extremely difficult to find. It's a solid piece of work that deserves to be preserved for those interested in a counter-point to Oliver Stone's fictionalized version of events regarding the only trial to be brought for the assassination of President Kennedy.
Bum Rap - Rare Danny Irom 1988 indy film starring Craig Wasson & Blanche Baker Skipper Martin 2017-01-19 | This impossible to find rare gem was rescued from oblivion thanks to composer Ethan Neuburg lending me his vintage VHS copy for upload. The quality is low for sure, but quite decent for an NTSC VHS. There's a touch of audio distortion in the beginning, but it rarely happens anywhere else in the film. The black and white is intentional and not a problem with this copy. I do not own the rights to this film. No infringement intended. After searching every possible outlet I could find, this appears to be one of the only public copies in known existence. I'm uploading it here in the hopes Danny Irom and everyone else connected with this lovely film don't have their labor of love forever lost. I sought this film out after interviewing Craig Wasson himself who highly recommended I track it down if at all possible. The Post Group Hollywood 4/6/03 - Behind the scenes doing Law & Order dailies Skipper Martin 2014-06-10 | In 2003 I (Skipper Martin) decided to do a short video for my mother showcasing what her son's did at their respective jobs. Mine was Law & Order film dailies at The Post Group in Hollywood. The facility is long gone, but now this small collection of raw footage we shot for that video stands as a bit of a memorial for our wonderful facility. Apologies for the focus mostly being on me, but that's what it was being shot for! I'm happy to say some great cameos in the background are there for people with sharp eyes and ears. For the curious, yes we did get permission from TPG management and Law & Order to do this. I'm thrilled to archive this here for TPG'ers who want to remember the place, but also to show how we used to do actual FILM dailies! It's quickly becoming a lost skill indeed.

Back In The Day - unfinished short film Skipper Martin 2014-05-23 | Shot on 12/29/00 - 12/31/00 at The Post Group in Santa Monica, this piece was written and directed by me (Skipper Martin). It was my second attempt at producing a cheap short film. At the time I was helping scads of film students on their expensive short projects, and I wanted to practice the craft myself without breaking the bank. This video shoot cost $800, but failed to deliver what I was hoping to achieve. Picture and sound of this video is of course temp. I roughly cut it together way back when to see what I had. I take full responsibility for the good AND the bad presented here. The post facility is no longer there, so this video also memorializes the great place I use to work at. Special thanks to the actors Kristian Horn and Richard Abraham. And of course thanks to everyone else who helped produce this little experiment.
