Boo-Boo!! Paul Carty 2017-05-31 | I never thought I would contribute to the number of cat videos on YouTube but then along came Boo-Boo and a cat video was a no-brainer. She was 21 years old when she was put down a few weeks ago (May 2, 2017.) When the vet broughther into the room after putting in the catheter, she said Boo was being quite feisty—feisty to the end!! The music, “Gone,” was composed by Jim Chappell (performed by me.) He wrote it a few days after putting his cat down. His CD was given to me by my aunt Connie way back in 1988. I learned part of the piece back then but it wasn’t until Ifound it on YouTube last year (almost 30 years later) that I learned the whole thing. I wanted the video performance to be the actual audio so it took me extra long to get it just right (a few months!) but Boo was worth it. I got it right the weekend before she went to Rainbow Bridge. Boo-Boo, my fuzzy little brother, (though she was a girl!!), this is for you.
