Big one is a PS125 with a PS80 beside it. The little one is a little PS20 and will easily sit inside a PS125. The PS20 will be going to shown at exhibitions but it is a fully functioning valve ready for any customer who needs one.
Noisy / Kettling Boiler Problem and the Fix Derek Freegard 2023-01-25 | A 3 minute video of my noisy boiler and the eventual fix it may help you. My boiler has made kettling type sounds for a couple of years and the radiators were slow to heat up. Things were slowly getting worse. Then the boiler got very noisy, banging away as per video and often tripping out. Note the temperature after I press the reset. It will go all the way up to 90c and down again. British Gas engineer said immediately when he watched my video - "Its you pump in the airing cupboard failing to work properly. Its not pushing the hot water from the boiler away so boiler overheats". He then fitted a new digital pump as in video. Instantly fixed - last section is the boiler starting at 6.30am with everything cold (it was frosty outside) - Boiler fires up and will go up to 70C and hold there. Within 5 to 10 minutes all the radiators are hot to touch including the huge one in living room that could take hours to get hot. Looks like we have been living with a developing fault for ages. Mind you it did take the 3rd gas engineers to know what the fault was. Thought I would put this together and share it. Let me know if it helped you.

A Murky visit to the See Monster in Weston Super Mare in October 2022 Derek Freegard 2022-10-16 | Decided to visit the See Monster before it gets scraped (what a waste of money for just 2 months) - I went down from Chippenham on a Friday and as I got closer the weather got more murky with horrible fine drizzle. At least the Monster had hardly any visitors. Actually more staff on it than visitors. My personal opinion here. It was months behind schedule opening and sorry to say it showed in the final result. I got the feeling they cut a lot of corners to get it open this year.. Most of the people up top simply wanted to look at the views so were not interested in the plants. The "spectacular" water fall lacked a lot of water - no where near matching the artists impression. It was all financed using tax payers money and I get the feeling a lot of background people have done very well out of it. As an engineer my self, having built a few fabrications the whole thing I found interesting and I still think it could be transformed into a longer lasting tourist attraction.

Triumph Rocket 3 R Test Ride video Derek Freegard 2022-07-16 | Had a go on this monster and did a bit of 360 videos. seems to be getting a lot of views, better explain. I borrowed this from a mate who wanted me to take some photos of it similar to the the ones I took of his older style Rocket. Took the time to shoot some video as you can see. I found this a lot more easier to ride than his old rocket which had those higher bars and the uncomfortable feet forward foot pegs. Tons of grunt and can be ridden easy or slow - All seemed well finished all over. My main worry with all the modern bikes is all the electronic stuff - gonna be costly if it ever goes wrong.
