14 cars entered.
Terry wins the overall weekend points while I win the Sunday evening main. This one was spicy.
No footage from the Saturday show as the camera was caked in mud.

14 car field, split into two heats of 7.
This was a glorified hotlapping session due to starting on pole. Saved it because it's the hardest I've driven the car in these conditions.

6 car field, the show started early Friday afternoon. Tough to get people to come right from work on a Friday as the track is located about 90 minutes from the Edmonton metro area.

Blew up our primary on 5/27 after winning the main on 5/26, which had about $700 worth of head work done to it. Chris is driving our backup motor with just camshafts installed.
Did not lose any speed.
4 car field. Show had an early start time on Friday evening and a lot of people couldn't get off work in time. This is a glorified test session and not compelling viewing.

Transponder results are a little messed up (wrong names, some cars not running transponders) but better than nothing:

Everyone is aware by now that Facebook and other sites spy on your activity, feeding you advertisements they think would be relevant to you based on your current interests, or Amazon purchase history. Sometimes, it's kind of cool and useful.
What's happened now, is that things have gone totally off the rails and turned into a form of social engineering.
An obscene amount of articles regarding Lizzo, the WNBA, Madonna's plastic surgery, anti-capitalist pages, and other irrelevant nonsense with a social justice slant, are being spammed at a rate that feels a little too frequent to be the work of an algorithm gone haywire.
No longer is stuff being recommended to you based on your current interest, and the app is seemingly unable to detect any of my online activity, and Facebook's news feed is basically unreadable.
To combat this, I run a plugin called FBP on my desktop computer, but browsing on my phone, the old Facebook experience has been replaced by the most blatant astroturfing I've ever seen.
In the spring of 2021, a chaotic Martinsville race saw RWR teammates Cody Ware and James Davison involved in numerous on-track incidents with each other. The situation which was seen as mildly amusing by fans, highlighting the struggles of an unsuccessful NASCAR team.
Avid NASCAR enthusiasts listening to Davison's spotter audio, however, heard a curious exchange, in which the veteran open wheel and sports car racer begged the team to take Cody Ware completely out of the sport due to his numerous mental issues.
Davison allegedly remarked Ware "shouldn't be out here", and voiced his confusion at how things were allowed to progress to this point, where an inexperienced and mentally unstable driver was allowed to race at the top echelon of American motorsports, destroying hundreds of thousands of dollars in equipment in the process - including his own teammate.
The exchange was documented by fans on Twitter, and has provided excellent foreshadowing and context for Ware's recent domestic violence issues off the track.

I play it sometimes.
120% AI strength.
KISS in my opinion has always been a very underrated band that essentially helped birth heavy metal in North America. Underneath the numerous gimmicks, they were always fairly competent performers and musicians, even into the 80's and 90's when lineup changes were frequent and the band jumped from trend to trend.
Paul and Gene have taken a firm stance against the use of backing tracks and openly shit-talk other bands who do so. They will often use press interviews to awkwardly rant about it, sometimes unprompted, and have been able to back up their stance with very tight, well-rehearsed shows. Paul Stanley, at his peak, was probably one of the greatest singers in rock/metal history.
The past four years, this seems to have gone completely out the window. Paul Stanley's voice is gone. That's okay! It happens! Yet the band could not retire gracefully when the time was right, and instead hides this behind vocal tracks which are identical almost every night of the tour. Fans are expected to spend hundreds of dollars on what's essentially a faked performance, drawing into question what else is being faked as well. As a consumer, I can only choose to avoid seeing them. I can't give money to musicians who aren't singing, and possibly might not be playing either. We don't know!
The band's appearance on Howard Stern to announce their final set of shows, ever, features the exact same vocal track as the opening night of the tour dating back all the way to January 2019 in Vancouver, British Columbia. This vocal track is present numerous times during the EOTR tour.
This is what amateur racing looks like. This place has at least six championships between four different drivers.
This is the funniest thing that has ever happened in sim racing.

While I don't consider myself to have been close with Will, he was an established regular in Assetto Corsa's ranked online racing scene for several years straight. Most North American sim racers rarely venture beyond iRacing, but he was one of the few that did. As a result, I shared the grid with this guy basically every night I raced AC online. Many of my saved AC replays from over the years, Will is in the race. He became one of the guys I expected to see every evening.
Eventually, we warmed up to each other and became acquaintances, chatting casually on Insta. Even if us content creators don't always put out the same style of videos or have the same opinions on certain games, most of us chat behind the scenes anyways. It's a niche hobby and not something you can discus with your bros at the sports bar.
As the years have clicked off since his untimely passing, I have been more and more affected by it, mourning the loss of a friendship that never was, and his potential to be much more in our little industry.
I attempted to run a full distance 1995 Indianapolis 500 in Automobilista 2, using the game's "Racin' USA Pt. 3" DLC. This is the newest content in the game, and I am using the current public build, not a release candidate. I was driving on 120% difficulty and low aggression. I am the current lap record holder at Indianapolis in the 1995 IndyCars.
This is an incredibly defective product.
- During the first round of pit stops, Pit Crew members started spawning on the racing surface.
- At the first pit stop, I set up a pit strategy to change tires and add 133L of fuel. The game did not change my tires and I was forced to come in for an emergency stop, throwing off my pit strategy for the entire race.
- Despite falling 90 seconds behind the race leader, the AI is so slow on max difficulty that I made up the gap fairly easily, and was not farther ahead because I opted to repair optional engine damage on every pit stop. In race pace, I was nearly 1.5 seconds faster per lap. The car is capable of a 38.1s lap on low fuel, AI cars never went faster than 39.4's.
- Over 75% of entrants retired from the race. By lap 190 of 200 there were just 7 cars of the 28 starters on track.
- When AI cars crash out, the game spawns them back in their pit stall, but cars with excessive damage were either upside down or sitting in the middle of pit lane.
- If AI cars ever made wheel to wheel contact, they would launch 50 feet, straight up into the air, and generate incomprehensibly catastrophic crashes.
- Watching a replay, then returning to the race, placed the game's camera into a random AI car instead of my own, with the AI also taking control over my car. This resulted in my actual car, immediately crashing, 10 laps from the finish in a 200 lap event, and the camera locked to a random AI car sitting in the pits that I could never fix.
- The scoring loop during the actual race was flat-out wrong, with cars several laps down being scored ahead of cars they shouldn't have been.
I am at a loss.
The catch? At random, DOSBox stops recognizing your racing wheel and nobody's found a way to fix it.

LYRICS
Booked 'til Sunday but I'm free on Tuesday.
Alone at home, bitch gone and used me.
Dreaming of times when my shit was simple.
Afternoons spent at my Blockbuster video.
Buddy says "Kanye, check out emulation."
All these fuckin' kids part of Mario nation.
I told buddy "thanks, but a princess don't listen."
John Madden had my heart since graduation.
Shotgun, five-wide, touch the sky.
"How the fuck he pick that through Shannon Sharpe's eye?!?!?"
Can't believe this was my daily grind.
Just like Kim, time ain't been kind.
CHORUS
Late to the game but ain't no expansion team.
Please stretch the image to fit my screen.
No I will not donate to Project 64.
Listen to my shit, call it even or so.
Why the fuck are all these quarterbacks so fat?
Why the fuck ain't Dilfer starting for my ass?
I come from the future, this Leaf kid is gone.
Warner and the Rams, gonna miss them ones.
What the fuck are all these glitches on the field?
What the fuck just happened to my audio?
Why are all these textures, fucked and misaligned?
Kanye tech support, dial 9-9-9!
Dilfer on the field, got this shit in the bag.
Collins and the Giants ain't got no swag.
So how the fuck does Kerry launch an 80-yard pass?
I watched 35, Ravens kicked his fucking ass.
CHORUS
Late to the game but ain't no expansion team.
Please stretch the image to fit my screen.
No I will not donate to Project 64.
Listen to my shit, call it even or so.
"Kanye, what you doin, I ain't see you all morning?"
"I called three times but you just ignoring."
I'm back on my bullshit, I'm back on my grind.
John Madden left us; can't leave him behind.
Miss my Madden cards like I miss my rhymes.
Catching 'em all, it's Pokemon time!
Kinda bummed that there's no classic teams.
Just monsters and mummies and gay shit for teens.
"Kanye you have important business obligations!"
Sorry I pledge allegiance to the four down nation.
Spent all this time with Kim, only for her to leave.
Load Season, week four, big game out in Philly!
CHORUS
Late to the game but ain't no expansion team.
Please stretch the image to fit my screen.
No I will not donate to Project 64.
Listen to my shit, call it even or so.
"Kanye I'm not playing an old Madden with you."
"There are more pressing issues in life askew."
"They're calling you an anti-semite on the news."
"Even Alex Jones has a problem with you."
That's cute and all, but I've made a discovery.
Back to the board to plot my strategy.
Custom playbooks, I'd never considered.
It's the league of Kanye West, not for beginners.
Shotgun, five-wide, touch the sky.
No more bullshit picks hitting Sharpe inside.
Hole in the D, Tampa 2 opens wide.
Kanye West is an offensive mastermind!
CHORUS
Late to the game but ain't no expansion team.
Please stretch the image to fit my screen.
No I will not donate to Project 64.
Listen to my shit, call it even or so.
What the fuck do you mean "Project 64 Crashed to Desktop???"
Which, they're not. By a laughable margin.

A secret unsanctioned IndyCar test was held here which, according to Google, nobody knows about or has ever talked about. So uh, keep this between you and I lol.
I was flying home from Kelowna after a race in either 2018 or 2019, and one of the security workers noticed my trophy. They mentioned that an IndyCar team had recently come through to "test at the new track in Osoyoos" and either they told me directly who it was, or I pieced it together at the time, that it was Schmidt Peterson Racing.
So anyways, this is what the lap might have looked like. I think a 39 is possible. Setup by MRD.
This is one of the hardest tracks I've ever driven and is basically the back half of Mid Ohio, all the time. Lack of visual reference markers made it take a little longer than usual to memorize the layout. The cones are very helpful and in the cockpit you basically drive from cone to cone.
As a sim racer, this ended up being the best thing to ever happen to me. I was forced to learn how to road race after surrounding myself with a community who acted allergic to it, fell in love with hundreds of different cars I otherwise wouldn't have been exposed to, mastered car setups once and for all, and learned vital lessons in car control from rival racing simulators that I then promptly and successfully applied to the real world.
None of this would have happened if I continued to put up with iRacing's unrealistically difficult handling model, grinding out hyper-aggressive races for trace amounts of Elo rank.
Check out the random bumps in turns 8 & 9 lol
Who tested this?

They really ran a race at Dodge Raceway Stadium. And a guy locked himself into the championship final using an exploit his little brother showed him when they were twelve years old, goofing around on the game.
Including the 24 Hours of Spa, the selling point of the game and what most of the game's features have been designed around.
In light of this, the game sold and reviewed really well. Almost nobody mentioned this was a problem.
Did these people even play it?
Darrell Wallace Jr's NASCAR career has followed a similar trajectory. The moderately successful Truck/Grand National Series driver has just two wins to his name after six years at the pro level, and routinely finds himself in an impressively wide variety of bizarre, Leaf-like situations. Situations that, seemingly nobody has bothered to connect the dots and spot the obvious pattern spanning close to a decade.
Wallace continues to land major opportunities at the top level of auto racing in North America, and even has his own Netflix Series; a carefully crafted marketing push desperately trying to hide that this dude has major attitude/character issues and is basically Ryan Leaf on wheels.
