One of those places that always comes to mind for me when people ask what the most beautiful places I've ever been to are is Lake Tekapo in New Zealand. This small village in the middle of New Zealand's South Island is just so postcard-perfect! We visited in the middle of winter and the snow-capped mountains behind that ridiculously turquoise-coloured water just made it even more magical. This is also where you will find one of the darkest skies in the world, perfect for stargazing. And spotting the Southern Lights if you're lucky! What's a place for you that left you speechless?

Four Around The World 2024-05-16 | There are some pretty epic views of the Gold Coast and I got to enjoy 2 of the best ones in a single day! We visited Q1 Skydeck at the top of Q1 Resort & Spa (level 77) with the fam, then spent a few nights on level 75 again of Meriton Suites Surfers Paradise. Really, either view is hard to beat but which would you prefer?
This is your sign to visit Lady Musgrave Island Four Around The World 2024-05-14 | ⬇️Get the detailsLady Musgrave Island is the 2nd most southern island in the Great Barrier Reef. It can only be reached by boat and tours depart daily from Town of 1770 and Bundaberg. It’s around 90 minutes by fast boat to reach it from 1770 and this is what we did. The trip from Bundaberg is closer to 2 hours. Most day tours will involve an eco tour of the island and this is incredibly fascinating as the island is actually a coral cay and the birds that live on the island are a vital part of keeping the island flourishing.We also did a glass bottom boat tour and had a couple of hours of snorkelling around the reef too and it was spectacular. The water is so clear and blue and there are so many beautiful tropical fish to see. Even better, the sea turtles! We loved swimming with a loggerhead turtle. We also spotted a manta ray too. Stretching over 123 kilometres along Queensland’s southern coast. The island can be reached by plane, boat or barge and can only be navigated by 4WD. You can reach K’gari from Hervey Bay or Rainbow Beach with ferries operating throughout the day. Definitely one for your Australian bucket list!
