It's not often that I miss out completely on a level with so many creators that I follow and like a lot, but it happened this time around. That did make it quite exciting to check this out, though, especially considering the high quality here.
This is one of the coolest design megacollabs I've seen in a while. It's got great block designs from start to finish, but what really sets this apart is the amazing synchronization to the song; small effects and color pulses are placed perfectly to match the high intensity of the song. I also really like the color usage in general, which never gets boring due to a wide variety of unique color combinations. With every part looking great on their own, the last barrier is normally the transitions between parts, but the team handled those very well too. For many parts it just flows naturally, which is typically very nice for the gameplay experience. For others, it gets a bit more fancy, such as at 1:26 and 1:33. The transitions are smooth across the board, connecting every part nicely together.
This is a lower end Extreme Demon in difficulty, which should make it accessible to a decent amount of people. If it's a bit too hard for you, you can at least enjoy it in video form like me. Still, I really appreciate all the thought that went into making the layout of this level. I've just seen the original layout of this, which looks great on its own. That makes sense due to the stacked team behind it. The visuals wouldn't work as well as they do here without such a good layout to build on, and their synergy with the song makes for a really nice result. With these creators' expertise in making gameplay, I'd also expect most people to find it quite fun to play. Floppy, who recorded this video for the showcase, thought so at least. The gameplay flows really well in my opinion. It's a fast-paced level, but every click is synchronized very nicely to the beat. The clicks are mostly on orbs that are easy to spot too. As a result, it ends up being quite sightreadable. At the same time, it isn't boring to play due to its intensity and verticality. It shouldn't take anyone too many attempts to beat, but I still think it could be an Easy Demon due to its speed and length.
I uploaded this primarily for its gameplay, but I wouldn't say the visuals are bad either. As mentioned, the gameplay is fast-paced and synchronized to the song, which is something the visuals do well too. For example, the part at 0:35 has some blur shaders applied, as well as minor shaking to match the intensity. This part in particular shows the train theme, which is also implied from the level name. At the end, you've outrun the train and complete the level. Personally, some of the art leave a bit to be desired in their colors and details, for example in the backgrounds or on the train itself. There is also the final house at 1:29 which looks way too simple to fit in. However, as a full level with everything put together, I'd say the visuals work well enough to enhance the level experience. This is definitely something you should play once it's rated!

Both of those were uploaded on the channel, and I commented on the unique ideas in both the gameplay and visuals that were executed very nicely. The same can be said about "CITYFADE", but on a much larger scale, as this level is nearly 6 minutes long. With a length like this, it's harder to keep the quality consistently high throughout. However, I'd say MaxxoRMeN managed just that.
Every part in this has a city theme, which suits the level name and song choice well. However, it's not your typical city, with a lot of the art, structures, and other surroundings being a bit wacky. One example is the buildings and their windows at 1:11, but any part, especially towards the end as it gets more intense, showcases this. With the careful color combinations on top, it works to create a really unique theme. At the same time, the execution is there with all of the designs and decorations looking really good. The part at 2:05 is probably my personal favorite, showcasing both the skillful detail in the background and foreground art, but also great synchronization to the song. This part is also a great example of the aforementioned unique gameplay that I've seen from MaxxoRMeN. My only minor complaint would be that some parts drag on a bit in length, but in such a long level it works nonetheless since there are so many different parts. Longer parts also make sense with the song's structure.
All in all, this is definitely MaxxoRMeN's best level thus far. The unique theming is executed really well for nearly 6 minutes. Such a length does make it harder to complete, though. According to ImMaxX1, who verified this, it will be an Insane Demon. (Special thanks to him for recording and asking me about showcasing this masterpiece too!) Aside from just the length, some parts can be tricky just because of their unique gameplay, such as the sideways part. There's also 3:34, which has randomized orbs with a massive amount of combinations. It's definitely a challenge, but a sick one if you try it out. Unfortunately, the song isn't on Newgrounds. However, a fitting remix is available. Overall, I think this should get a Legendary rating.

LIEB asked if I'd like to showcase this too, and since I liked the previous one so much, I accepted. This has a lot of the same qualities, particularly in the "oldschool" design style and color usage. In fact, this is even more colorful than the previous levels, with multiple colors mixed together from start to finish. The climax parts going rainbow also ties into the prequel nicely.
It wouldn't be too interesting if this level didn't do anything to stand out from the others, though, and I'd say it does just enough. I'm talking about the small effects added in the background and foreground from part to part, with my favorite being the bars that invert colors from 0:26. There's also some 2.2 features like camera controls, particles, and shader effects, although not much. At the same time, the level sticks to the traditional structuring and block designs of the previous levels. I think it's nice to see some creators sticking to the roots, combining various default objects nicely together to make cool designs, rather than just seeing custom-made stuff. That may be me being a bit nostalgic, though.
All in all, this is a really cool design level by LIEB. It's currently being verified by Zeronium, and will be an Extreme Demon once released. LIEB Is also planning another sequel already, which will be fun to see. Special thanks to him for asking me about showcasing this!

With that in mind, I was excited to try their first 2.2 level, "Lucy", and it did not disappoint. This features the clean design style I've seen from them before, with good implementation of 2.2 features on top. Some examples are the subtle shader effects and camera controls at 1:05. I will say that I like the visuals later into the level a bit more than the start, as Lyal starts mixing in some background art and more colors. The part at 1:43 is the best example of this, featuring a really nice city background with several colors mixed nicely on top.
"Overload" was an Insane Demon, making it a bit tricky for myself to beat. However, "Lucy" is noticeably easier, and it will probably be Medium Demon due to the length. Lyal once again releases a level that is around 2 minutes long, which is awesome to see; with the high consistency in quality in mind, it just makes for even more to enjoy. Since the shader effects are implemented subtly, such as distoring the screen slightly or during transitions, the gameplay doesn't suffer. The camera controls are also used smoothly, making for a nice playing experience. There are the aforementioned repeating parts at 1:05, where you get enough time to react to the different directions. The swing part at 0:25 is also quite interesting gameplay-wise, but it plays nicely too. This is definitely worth trying out for yourself in-game.

This is a really cool 3D minigame level. You can turn around, move left, right, and forward, as well as jump (using 2-player mode). This is how you maneuver through 5 stages of 3D obstacles, each marked with a crystal at the end. The different stages have a nice variety of color choices and obstacles, keeping it fresh throughout. Admittedly, the movement felt a bit awkward at first, but that's probably due to this being completely new rather than poor design by Nemo2510. After some time, it's quite smooth and accurate in terms of hitboxes. You also have the option to play a tutorial at the start, and also a hardcore mode.
At the end, it says it's inspired by Spu7Nix, which makes a lot of sense. This feels like a modern version of "Dim" by Spu7Nix from 2019. It had similar player perspective and stages, but the visuals weren't as smooth as the 3D effect was created by several layers of blocks. With 2.2's introduction of gradient and area triggers, it was only a matter of time before someone would make more "true" 3D, as seen here. Nemo2510 did an excellent job with this, although with help of coding, which is natural for something like this. I think it's a level that as many players as possible should try out in-game, just for the unique experience. It will most likely get at least a Legendary rating. As for the difficulty, 10 Moons was requested, but I found it pretty easy personally, so it could be 7 to 9 too. It will be exciting to see what kind of 3D levels we see in the future, perhaps even more by Nemo2510 too. They are releasing an explanation video alongside the 3D engine soon, which should enable even more creators to do crazy stuff like this.

After trying it out, I quickly noticed the similarities to "RAZORBLADE", a level by him that I uploaded about 7 months ago. That is still one of the most memorable levels of his in my opinion. It used a very unique color scheme of yellow, blue, and red, with some sick effects synchronized to the song. I'm glad to see a sequel of that now.
Much of the things I said about "RAZORBLADE" apply here too; the color scheme is implemented really well, and there are many good effects found throughout. This time, shader effects are available as well to make it even more intense. I think AudieoVisual used them effectively without affecting the gameplay, such as slight blur during the climaxes. There's also the calmer part at 0:32, where the icon is turned completely black against a colorful background. The parts before and after this incorporate lyrics synchronized to the song, which is something I've commented on not liking before in Geometry Dash levels. However, once again, AudieoVisual makes them fit the rest of the visuals stylistically. Just look at 0:41, for example. This strong tie to the music is seen across the board. It's in the shader effects, lyrics, general effects, and so on.
As for the gameplay, I was surprised by how nicely this plays considering the colors and style of this. With such extreme color combinations, as well as the focus on intense effects throughout, you'd expect it to interfere with the gameplay somewhat. There is even an epilepsy warning at the start. This wasn't the case for me, though. It's easy to pick up and play. Every part flows nicely with clear and intuitive gameplay. Sure, it does get a little bit harder in the last half, with very fast parts and an asymmetrical dual, but it shouldn't take you long to learn this. All in all, I would say that this is my new favorite level by AudieoVisual. It built upon what I liked so much in "RAZORBLADE", while also showcasing his progression as a creator since then. I think this has a good chance of getting a Legendary Easy Demon rating. It should at least get a deserved Epic rating considering that "RAZORBLADE" got one.

They've all been a bit on the harder end of the Demon scale, with most being Insane or Extreme Demon as of writing. Arb beat this one, which will most likely be a Hard Demon, and provided the footage for the channel. Special thanks to him!
What I've liked the most from gmdmann's works is the usage of background effects. There's always something cool going on with good color mixing and synchronization to the song. Now, with 2.2 tools, the background effects in "PixelLocked" turned out even more hype in my opinion. My personal favorite is the one at 0:32, which seems to use blur shaders in a really unique way. There's also some pixellation going on in the previous part. These shader effects make the background effects stand out even more than usual, as they're not easily doable without these tools. Still, solid objects like blocks and obstacles are evident thanks to clear outlines and slightly brighter colors. People seem to enjoy the gameplay quite a lot, and with the visuals in mind, this will definitely get a good rating soon. The only minor feedback I have is that the block design from 0:46 until the end is a bit worse than earlier parts to me. They could have been improved a bit with some more unique details, especially in either of these two parts since it's a bit repetitive as of now. All in all, though, this is another great effect level by gmdmann, and I'm excited to see what else they do in 2.2!

Now that it's here, I have to say that it's even better than I expected. It's a got a really cool dystopian theme that is executed consistently throughout the entirety of the level. Every part features a great amount of detail both in the background and foreground. It never gets repetitive either thanks to unique art and color combinations from part to part.
The gameplay is a bit frustrating at first. This is most likely due to the visuals being so detailed, making it difficult to see what exactly you have to do at times. However, after a bit of practice, it plays surprisingly well, and the song and SFX choices help for timings too. For 2.2 features, there is a good amount of shader effects and camera controls in this, but it's used very subtly to show the scale and destruction of the city. This only improves the visuals while not affecting the gameplay experience, which is good. All in all, I think this could get a Legendary Medium Demon rating. I'm glad to play a full solo level by Komatic5, and you should definitely give it a shot.

However, that isn't necessarily the case, as proven by some levels in the past, and it certainly doesn't mean the level can't be good. I'd say the level leans into the name well, but it's more of a playful vibe if anything. This is seen throughout the level, with a lot of varied color combinations and general object usage. Some parts mix in simple but cool effects, while others have some funny art. My favorite stretch is probably 1:19 to 1:43 due to some cool ideas executed well, such as the appearing window structures, smooth transitions, the framed visuals, and the usage of split screen shaders. It all remains at a decently high quality, though, with fun ideas distributed nicely around. This is kept up relatively well for the total duration of over 3 minutes. There are of course some parts that aren't as interesting, but this is to be expected with such a big team. This has been in the works for many years according to the host, and I'm pleasantly surprised by how neat it turned out finished in 2.2. The block has quite a lot to it, though, making it interesting despite the idea sounding a bit simple. First, you have to make your way around the block. This requires changing gravity along the way for each side. I found this part quite confusing at first, as the gravity changes can push you out fast. You don't die from this, though, and can retry as much as you want. The trick is that clicking the tiny orbs is the way to change gravity, so look out for those.
Once you've made it around the block, you suddenly get teleported inside the block, as seen at 0:33. This surprised me a lot, even though it's shown in there from the start. I think this goes to show how cool the idea and execution of the level is. In here, there's a little world where you're suddenly tasked with performing quests for some random cube. These are nicely executed, with some randomness to them (requiring a random amount of tries), nice pop-ups when they're done, and good SFX usage. The gameplay does get a little confusing as you go up to the mountains, but it's again about utilizing the tiny orbs to your advantage. Finally, reaching the star you can continue your travel into space, tying it nicely together with the atmosphere at the start. While the gameplay at the start was a bit confusing, I still think this is a really good level overall because of the execution of the concept. It's definitely worth trying out once it's rated!

Since this has gotten a Legendary rating since then, I assume it's still of some interest. "ABSURDIA" is a megacollab by a mix of up-and-coming and unknown creators to me personally, so it's awesome to see how high quality this is overall. It doesn't have a consistent theme or color scheme throughout, but every part plays around with effects to the song, which makes everything work together nonetheless. This is both with and without 2.2 features like shaders. The transitions between the parts are worth noting, tying everything together really well. With the focus on varied effects in mind, it makes sense that the color mixing is crazy too.
It feels like all the involved creators had fun making their part as crazy as possible without taking any theming too seriously. This makes for a fun result to me, at least visually. I'm not sure how I'd feel about some of these effects when playing the level, but it may be better than I think; it seems like the people who have played it enjoyed it. This also makes sense considering the layout is by xVoidGD. If your eyes don't mind colors and effects like this, it may be worth giving a shot. Hopefully we will see more works by the involved creators in the future!

This is his next project, which is gonna be fully decorated by him. It's very exciting to see a creator known for really nice megacollab parts take on making a full level, especially now with 2.2 tools. I wouldn't call this a fullblown solo level, though, as Marwec made a good portion of the gameplay. That does make it one in visuals at least.
So far, "Prominence" is looking really good. It's got the sleek and unique block designs I've seen in many of his megacollab parts, featuring some sick details and color usage. The backgrounds also fit in perfectly with some cool patterns and effects to go with them. These effects, in addition to the color pulses and structure movements, make the visuals dynamic in synchronization to the song. I also really like the transitions between the parts seen in this preview, such as at 0:21 and 0:32. These do cover the whole screen, though, making the gameplay right after blind. I think OpteX is gonna make the gameplay right after these a bit easier for the final level, which will help. There was also another minor gameplay issue that he will fix. Visually, I don't really have any complaints, and I'm excited to see how the rest of the parts turn out. Expect a video of the full level once it's done. As a sidenote, when uploading this I realized I uploaded an OpteX level, "Hex", in 2018. You should definitely check it out to see how far he's come.

"Amethyst" is a megacollab that I've personally not seen before then. Admittedly, I do miss a lot of progress on levels this hard since they're out of my skill range, but I may hear about it once it's out. This one, though, is just finished and set to be verified now. It is aimed at being the hardest Demon once released, so good luck to the verifier!
While the difficulty of the gameplay is impressive in its own right, I'm uploading this primarily to comment on the visuals. Overall, it looks unexpectedly good in my opinion. I feel like levels this hard tend to focus too much on making the gameplay as hard as possible, and not bothering as much for the visuals, but this has a nicer balance to me; all parts look good, featuring neat block designs and decorations. They also fit together as a whole, as they use a similar color scheme and theme. Every part has blue, purple, and pink colors with crystal decorations somewhere. The best example of this, and my personal favorite part, is probably the one at 0:58. Here, the crystals really shine due to the excellent use of the color scheme for shading. I think this will be a very worthy top difficulty level once verified.

The list below is everyone who made a full part, but many more members contributed the frogs seen throughout this level. This was a really cool way of incorporating more members into the level. I didn't personally create anything for this, but it was awesome to get the chance to verify this just like with "Scrap". Everyone did a great job here, utilizing the unique theme to great potential. We have seen the toxic sewers theme a bit in levels before, but I don't remember it being this fleshed out. This has lots of fitting and cool art found in two paths that you can pick between at 0:21. Each one gives access to a coin, which gives some incentive to try both. The main incentive is just to see the awesome parts for me, though.
The gameplay lives up to the visuals overall. It's fast-paced overall, which suits the song and, by extension, the visuals. Some parts were a bit harder to read to me, though, especially due to extra detail. This was the case in the bottom "sewer" path seen at 2:35. Here, the visual detail makes it a bit hard to sightread what's going on. The gameplay is quite easy, though, so after a practice run you'll be good to go. If you want to beat this as fast as possible, I'd probably pick the top "aqueduct" path. Aside from this, the start and end, present in both paths, are really nice to play.

The quality of the level is really good, featuring nice designs and art. There are also some cool effects here and there, and the color combinations are great. The coolest part about the visuals, though, is how it all works together for the unique theme. This follows the tech aesthetic from the early 2000s, which was seen on Windows Vista for example. I haven't seen anyone make a level with a theme quite like this before, and with hauxz executing it this well, it makes for a special level overall.
The gameplay also lives up to the visual quality to me. It's surprisingly easy to play for the unique ideas it has, such as the part with different sections at 0:17. hauxz did a good job of making the gameplay intuitive and sightreadable. Some parts here and there can be a bit tricky at first, though, especially the quick transitions. All in all, I think it will be rated an Easy Demon. I will be looking out for hauxz's levels in the future!

ImMaxX1 has been showing me some previews of the level, and I also watched the videos from his channel. This showed some of the first parts, which feature some crazy effects. These are perfectly synchronized to this part of the song. Now that it's done, ImMaxX1 asked me to showcase the whole thing, and I'm happy to do so after seeing the full thing. The effects for the rest are also quite good, but I'm especially surprised by their variety throughout the level. The same can be said for the colors, which change constantly. This keeps every part interesting. The later, new parts that weren't shown in the previews keep up the quality, and for nearly 2 minutes in total which is awesome. It does get a bit less intense than the start in terms of pure effects, but this makes sense as the song changes. Of course, with ImMaxX1 being more of a design creator originally, the block designs and structuring are great too across the board. There really isn't anything I don't like about the visuals.
Every time a new update drops, I'm a little worried oldschool custom-made "effects" are gonna die out more and more, as the tools get more powerful and let you do a lot easily. I'm very glad to see someone like ImMaxX1 keeping it alive with many custom-made effects on display here. At the same time, 2.2 tools like shaders are mixed in to enhance the effects, making for a perfect mix to me. I will say that I suspect the crazy visuals interfere with the gameplay a bit here and there, but this is far and beyond my skill level to test it out myself. It will be a pretty hard Extreme Demon once out and rated. ImMaxX1 has made some really fun levels that I've beaten before, though, so I wouldn't be surprised if the gameplay here is better than expected. I guess we'll have to wait and see until it's out and tested by some skilled players. All in all, though, this is probably my favorite level by ImMaxX1 visually due to its amazing colors and effects. Without any particular issues that aren't clear on video, I could see this getting a Legendary rating.

I have some uploads of their works from several years ago. From what I can remember, they have a really clean design style, and that is very much the case here too. Of course, with 2.2's tools, it's got a much more modernized look to it. I really love the subtle space theme to everything, featuring stars, moons, and similar symbols. This can be seen in the background, foreground, and as decorations. I particularly like all the little details in the block designs. The color scheme is mainly purple and pink, with accents like yellow, blue, and green, which suits the space symbols perfectly; these are all colors that you relate to space.
The gameplay is also quite good overall, making for a fun playing experience alongside the great visuals. One thing I thought about while playing this is that fufafac utilized camera controls really smoothly. Some of my 2.2 uploads have had quite abrupt camera changes, but I think fufafac used them subtly to great effect here. There are some parts where the camera stops, rotates, and/or zooms, but it always feels natural. I have to say that the difficulty is a bit inconsistent overall, though, with the first half seeming like Insane 8 Stars or so. However, from the climax at 0:36, it gets much harder, and I think it'll end up as a Medium Demon overall. You should definitely give this a practice run before attempting it from the start. All in all, this is a great level by fufafac.

However, some of the gimmicks make it quite tricky regardless, such as the acceleration slopes at 0:30 and the touch blocks, required for the orbs, at 0:54. In particular, the former is noticeably harder than the rest and a bit inconsistent as well, which could be frustrating for a lot of players. It was requested for 9 Stars, but I think it could be an Easy Demon to be honest.
Visually, it follows the "fanmade official" style, utilizing many default blocks and similar decoration style that RobTop uses at times. Some examples are the arrows and rotating circles around portals and orbs. Still, FreeedTheDolfin, who made this one, is not afraid to get a bit creative, such as the aforementioned gameplay gimmicks and the digital display at 0:46. Both feature some really cool visuals that synchronize well to the song. Alongside the block design and choice of colors, these fit perfectly into the level overall.

"Space Invaders" is the final and hardest level in the series. It's the one I was most excited about after seeing some previews, so I played this first. Maybe in the next few days I'll upload some of the other levels in the series too. This one definitely set the bar high, but I'm excited to try more of them.
As mentioned, a group of creators is behind the account, with certain creators working on each level in the series. This one in particular is by Manix648 and LazerBlitz. We have already seen some work from the latter in 2.2, but it's awesome to see more by him, especially in tandem with Manix648. This is probably my favorite creator duo from their sick collaborations in 2.0 and 2.1, and this level shows that they've most certainly still got it! Every part looks great, featuring neat designs with some nice art and effects mixed in when fitting. The color mixing should also be mentioned, as every part has multiple colors on screen that fit perfectly together, making sure that no parts get boring to look at. There are lots of 2.2 features mixed in here too, such as some blocks, particles, camera controls, shaders, and of course keyframes for some of the cool animations.
With so many 2.2 features, you always worry a bit about the gameplay due to how much they change the look of the base game. It does feel awkward to play at first, but with some practice, it wasn't that bad to me personally. I wouldn't go into this expecting it to be a walk in the park, though, as some parts prove tricky, and perhaps a bit frustrating, to get down. The variety in gameplay from part to part does make the impression a bit better for me overall. I think it will be a Medium Demon once rated. All in all, the boys did a great job making a challenging 2.2 level in a style inspired by official levels.

I'm glad to see it finished now despite being some time into the new update. It sticks to the qualities that were apparent in the preview, which was quality 2.1 designs and effects. The color scheme, featuring a lot of white, also stood out. However, on top of this, they've added some 2.2 features in the form of camera controls and shaders. I think this is handled quite well, synchronizing nicely to the song while fitting in with other visuals.
All in all, this makes for a really nice mini series alongside "RAM" hosted by James too. The color scheme contrasting while keeping a similar tech theme is a cool idea. In difficulty, this is much easier and will probably be a Hard Demon. With the quality in mind, it will definitely get at least an Epic rating. At first, it may set itself up to be another red "hell" level, but it quickly develops into something much cooler. Colors such as green, orange, and pink are mixed in really well, making the color scheme interesting. Most notable is probably the very high quality art, focused around eyes but also skeleton hands and other symbolism. With such detail, you may expect the level itself to be a bit static. However, this preview is not static at all, with cool animation sequences such as at 0:11. It will be very exciting to see if they can keep up this quality for the full level. This isn't really a minigame, though, but rather a really good Platformer level. However, it does feature many cool custom gameplay elements that are executed really nicely, similar to what is done in a minigame. Walljumping is one thing, which has been seen in some levels already, but there's also bouncing blocks. These make for some really unique gameplay, especially alongside slippery blocks. It does get quite tricky at times, though, as you need to use all of these perfectly together to beat each stage. Executing all of the elements correctly and getting past a stage is incredibly satisfying, though, making the whole level a fun challenge. There are 15 in total, and the last one is quite long. It may end up as a Hard Demon once rated.
Luckily, the visuals also live up to the unique gameplay. It's mostly built around gradients that are applied to smaller polygons in both the background and foreground. These change colors while you play, and also react to the player's proximity and stretch a little, making the whole thing dynamic. With so much of the polygons being rainbow colors, the result is both trippy and cool at the same time. The foreground is nicely distinguished by slightly more saturation, and the gameplay elements like walljumping, bouncing blocks, spikes, and slippery blocks have colors that stand out enough from the rest. Incidius did a great job of making all of this work together despite the highly saturated rainbow colors taking up so much space. Aside from visual indicators, there's also some simple SFX usage, such as for jumping and bouncing. I also really like the duplicate cube that gives a short tutorial for some parts, such as at 0:52.
All in all, this is a really sick level by Incidius. It's probably the coolest usage I've seen of gradients in 2.2 thus far, while also featuring some fun and challenging gameplay. You should definitely give it a shot if you like the visuals or the gameplay seen in this video. With everything in mind, I hope to see this get a Legendary Hard Demon rating. However, it seems like RobTop beat me to it, as this is already rated Legendary 8 Stars as of writing. This is a very cool experience to play, so I'm not surprised. As you can see from the length of this video, it has quite some playtime too. Including practice and figuring out what to do, this can easily take 30 minutes to beat. Most parts feature small challenges that you have to solve to advance. There are also many secret or hidden paths that are either mandatory or optional. I believe there is a secret ending that you can get, which isn't shown in this video, but definitely worth trying to get if you want an extra challenge. (5:25 is a little hint.) There's a lot of content to play here, and it's also very fun due to the quality of the level, so I definitely recommend trying it out.
The overall atmosphere, created by the mix of visuals and audio, is the best part of the level. It's based on the game INSIDE, which I'm not familiar with, but looking at some pictures and videos, I can definitely see it. However, ChrySpy has definitely not copied it directly into Geometry Dash, but rather adapted it to work here. That's a good approach. This is the foundation of the general style and colors seen here, which is executed really well from start to finish. The sound design is also worth mentioning, featuring 7 songs and 270 SFX. These are applied really well throughout the level, making the level come alive with a large variety of ominous and scary moments. As a result, everything comes together to create a consistent atmosphere throughout, making the whole thing a masterpiece overall.

I realize he has already uploaded 2 Platformer levels before this, which I should probably try out some time. This is a Classic level, though, making it easier to compare with the many levels I've uploaded by him before. I'd say it's pretty much what I expected in terms of visuals and quality; it's got many interesting visual choices, such as in the designs, decorations, and in some cool effects. The color mixing remains good too, featuring many cool color combinations. There aren't too many obvious, visible 2.2 objects in use, and in that sense the designs could have been done in 2.1 too. However, particles are added here and there, making for some nice motion to the song. 0:28 is a good example of this.
The most notable 2.2 tool used here is camera controls. There is quite a lot of zooming, and also some rotation and stopping. This does make for some added difficulty to me personally. At 0:31, for example, the camera zooms out and stops momentarily as you're about to do these wave timings. This makes it a bit trickier than it would be with the normal pre-2.2 camera. The usage does fit the song pretty well overall, though, so I don't think it's a very bad thing; it just adds some extra difficulty. Aside from some of these moments, I found this quite enjoyable to beat as alkali levels tend to be. The dual parts are particularly satisfying to complete. With everything in mind, I think this will be an Epic Medium Demon.

It certainly lives up to its name visually, but it's also really high quality at the same time. This makes for a great one-of-a-kind experience. Every part features a crazy mix of different designs, decorations, and colors. On top of this, shader effects and camera controls are applied very often. With all of this combined and happening on screen simultaneously, the level shouldn't work this well, but Kiriia pulled it off. I'll definitely be looking out for their future work, as I wasn't familiar with them before this level. The care put into every part of the level is evident, and I think it's the unique styling to everything that makes it work together in the final product.
I did mention shader effects and camera controls for the visuals, which do play a big part in the gameplay experience too. Personally, I found some parts a little frustrating to play because of these tools, but I think that's more because I'm still not used to playing levels with them rather than Kiriia misusing anything. Their usage works really well to the song, which is a huge compliment as it's not really a song you'd expect to work for a Geometry Dash level. With some practice, the level is quite enjoyable to beat. It's definitely a level to try for yourself in-game considering how unique it is. I could honestly see this getting a Legendary rating, but we'll see. It needs to be at least Epic. In terms of difficulty, I think it'll be a Medium Demon.

Considering the quality in both gameplay and visuals, as well as the overall experience, I think it's deserved. This will give you at least a good 5 minutes of playtime, but even more if you try to go for the secret routes, which lead to coins. It's nice to see a Legendary that's a bit on the easier side for accessibility's sake.
I mentioned the overall experience, which lies in the usage of art and audio. Everything feels intentional for the sake of emphasizing the theme of the level. As the title says, this is about a tornado sweeping over an area, but before that you have to pass through some nice nature and then into a fortress. Further into the level, you have to make it through the tornado yourself as it wreaks havoc on the environment. At the end, you are back where you started, but all you see are the ruins. This connects the start and end really nicely, making for a cohesive story overall, even though it's a bit depressing. Without great art for both the background and foreground, as well as fitting music and SFX usage, the theme wouldn't be portrayed nearly as good. AbstractDark has always been great at making themed levels, and with these tools, it's no surprise it ended up this good.

It's got a Valentine's theme, which is more evident in some parts than others. As an example, some parts feature hearts and other art, making it pretty clear, while other parts are just cool design. Still, the color choices are fitting for the theme across the board. I like how the styles of the different creators are noticeable, but since they aren't too different from each other with not too many creators involved, the changes never feel too big nor too often.
Aside from the theme, the gameplay is probably the highlight of the level for me. This was quite enjoyable for me to play after a bit of practice. It's very satisfying to get through many of the parts, such as the duals. I also really liked how the icon goes offscreen and comes back in at 0:32 and 0:38. In general, camera controls and zoom is used quite tastefully throughout the level, enhancing the overall experience. All in all, I think this will be an Epic Medium Demon. This is quite impressive for being made in less than a week.

Now, the level is finished and ready to be verified. That may take a bit, though, considering the difficulty of the level. It will probably be one of the hardest rated levels in the game.
When talking about the visuals of the level, it's worth keeping the time span mentioned above in mind. It's been in the works for several years, and went a bit into 2.2 before being released, which does make some parts look a bit "dated" in my opinion. That isn't necessarily a bad thing, though. Personally, I really like more "oldschool" design, which is what many parts of this look like. It's understandable if this isn't your thing, though. I think the structuring and details are quite good across the board, and with a wide variety of color combinations and pulses, it also remains interesting throughout. For a level with 40 creators, this is an impressive feat nonetheless. I don't think I'd dare to host a level with that many creators myself, and this is even xander556's first time hosting one. He has also released a video of some of the progress. You should definitely check it out if you like creating content. Seeing it come together was really fun.
Luckily, the final result also lives up to my personal hype. The level mixes in a lot more custom art compared to his other works, making it a bit more unique. This suits the theme well. At the same time, it's still got clean visuals and interesting color combinations, as I've seen in his other works. I'm normally not a fan of levels using songs with vocals, especially not when they also type out the lyrics in the level itself, but I think AudieoVisual handled it really well; the lyrics never obstruct the gameplay, and aren't repetitive in style or placement at all, but rather used as a fun decoration.
The gameplay is quite slow, which matches the pace of the song. It's also very easy. Despite this, it wasn't boring for me to play due to some gravity and zoom changes in certain parts. The slower pace also gives you good time to take in the neat visuals. All in all, this may be my favorite level by AudieoVisual thus far. I think it will be rated Epic 4 Stars.

Regardless, they're a creator I'm familiar with, and it's fun to see people come back to creating for 2.2. Seeing how both old and new creators utilize the fresh tools is very interesting. That's the case here too.
"Deep Space" has a simple but cool concept, which is a Platformer where you have to fall from the top and make it to the bottom. You have to move left and right to dodge all the obstacles. This may look a bit easier than it is on video, as any minor movement too far to any side may make it impossible to pass the next obstacles. There are a few cuts in this video to make for a smooth video, but I imagine doing this in one run may be a cool challenge. Overall, I think it will be rated 9 Moons due to the short overall length.
In terms of visuals, I like the overall style. All of the obstacles are drawn with cool neon outlines, and the colors the level goes through and mixes work very well together. It does get a little repetitive without too many changes through, though, which can also be said for the gameplay aside from the introduction of the teleport orbs. I wish the level was a little longer with a bit more variety in both gameplay and visuals to address these issues, but this is still a really cool level as it is.

I always talk about his unique visuals in these descriptions, which is obviously no different here. The custom art and colors are all "crazy". In detail, the visuals are perhaps a bit on the simple side, but that's not what this level is about. The main strength of this level is the is the overall experience and atmosphere. This is much thanks to the song choice and many good SFX, but also the progression throughout the levelโseen in the text boxes, added decorations, stronger shader effects, and so on. It all ends up in a really unique and satisfying finale.
The gameplay is also quite interesting, which suits and improves the theming of the level. You do have to go from the left to the far right to beat the level, but to do so you need to use speed and verticality to your advantage. There are many parts where you need to run as long and jump as far as possible off a platform to be able to reach the next part. This is thanks to the level being in Robot mode. So far, most of the good Platformers in Robot that I've seen have been Extreme Demons, while this is roughly an Easy Demon, so it's much more accessible. It was also very fun to beat for me. I highly recommend you try this in-game, especially to experience the unique atmosphere first-hand.

I remember seeing some previews of parts years back, and it always looked really hype. The final result is too. I really like the consistent color scheme and theme, focusing on green and "tech" designs and decorations. This is obviously quite reminiscent of "Erebus", but in a much more modern and polished fashion. The variety of styles of the creators involved make it interesting from part to part; some mix in art, effects, and/or other colors on top. This wouldn't work as well if the quality didn't stay as consistently high as here.
As for the gameplay, this is aimed at a low-end Extreme Demon, so it should be accessible for a decent amount of people once out. It's set to be verified by YakobNugget soon. The layout is made by five dedicated gameplay creators, so I'm sure it'll be good. It seems like everyone else did a great job of decorating on top too. There is some shader and zoom usage here and there, which seems to be the only visible 2.2 features in it, but it's pretty tasteful and mostly during transitions; this shouldn't be harmful to the gameplay experience at all. Without any major issues I didn't notice, I think this deserves an Epic rating, if not a Legendary rating! Most don't look that great in Geometry Dash and/or copy the original too much. "Subwoofer Lullaby" isn't that way at all to me; the creators did a great job of adapting Minecraft visuals to Geometry Dash, utilizing default objects to recreate the game really well. This results in a really nice combination of Minecraft and Geometry Dash. At the same time, the creators also faithfully recreated many things, such as the audio (more in-depth text below), death screen, chat messages, and more. There are also some cool secrets shown from 1:35 in this video, which you may want to try to find yourself.
Aside from the visuals, the audio fits a Minecraft level really well too. Note that the song available through Newgrounds is a remix of "Subwoofer Lullaby", but I replaced the audio for a more authentic experience for this video. The remix is actually quite good, though, which you'll hear when you play. Aside from the song, there is also some great SFX usage, such as when you hit blocks at the start, the rain, using the minecart, passing by the Nether portal, and more.
The only minor issue I have with the level is the gameplay. It's a bit difficult to tell what objects are obstacles or not at times, for example the chests, crafting tables, and so on at around 0:50. This lead to a couple deaths further into the level for me personally. However, if you follow the arrows, you should be good to go. Despite these minor gameplay issues, I think the visuals and audio are too good for this to not deserve an Epic rating. It will probably be 7 Stars.

With 2.2 tools like camera controls and shader effects, it seems like they've gotten even crazier. The usage of these suit the song perfectly, which is not a surprise considering how well he does music synchronization normally. Aside from newer tools, the designs and decorations are all really cool too, with lots of custom-made art like the eyes found around the level. My favorite part of his levels has always been the interesting color combinations, which is also present here. They match both the song and level theme by changing rapidly and being so colorful.
With everything I've mentioned thus far, like camera controls, shader effects, crazy designs and colors, and many quick transitions, you'd expect the level to be a bit annoying to sightread. However, it was actually quite fun to play for me. Vrymer did a good job making the gameplay clear and forgiving. As such, I think this deserves an Epic 7 Stars rating.

After that, we figured it'd be worth uploading the level in full. The level didn't get too many YouTube uploads, which is probably due to its difficult and unique gameplay. It's a 2-player level that is made to be beaten by one player, meaning that you need to use both inputs simultaneously. This is the case for the majority of the level after the first part. It makes for some really cool gameplay, especially when watching, but it seems like people really enjoyed playing it too. Of course, it's an added bonus that the level looks really good with great color combinations and effects on top of a subtle city theme. All in all, it makes complete sense why people suggested this, and pocke himself for Best Creator, for the 2023 Awards. If you're down for a one-of-a-kind experience, this is definitely worth trying!

Bpi has been working on this for some weeks, with many sick previews uploaded. I've been waiting for the release of the level since, and it's nice to finally experience it in-game myself.
The visuals are, as expected, really nice. Each frame looks fantastic on its own, but it's made even better thanks to the smooth transitions between each scene. It's clearly inspired by great motion graphics, and seeing that done so well in Geometry Dash is hype. There are clear uses of gradient and shader effects, such as blur and bulge. Bpi has implemented them really well in a short amount of time. This is only 18K objects, so it should perform quite well for most players, which I assume is much thanks to 2.2 features. I do have to say that the visuals of the later parts are a bit more boring, but the song also slows down a lot, making it harder to do anything as crazy as the beginning. A little more length could've helped to build up the quality again.
With these visuals, you may have expected this to be an Auto level. However, it does actually have some gameplay. You have to fly from 0:08 to 0:26 using the little circle as your icon. This was quite unexpected and hard to read for me on my first attempt, and I expect that it may be like that for many other players too. At 0:36 and 0:44, your actual icon is visible, so it's easy to understand that you have to hit the orbs. I wish the earlier parts were as clear too. With this in mind, I have a feeling RobTop may rate it Epic and 3 Stars (rather than 2 as requested), but we will see. Regardless of the rating it gets, this is a very impressive level by Bpi, and I'm excited to see what they do in the future!

They defined a part of 2.1 to me, more specifically towards the end, thanks to their iconic style. That is also present here in what is their first full 2.2 level. The designs themselves are relatively simple, but the structuring and decorations around it make it look good. One example of this, and my personal favorite part of the visuals, is the "windows" in each stage, in which you see clouds on a nice gradient between orange and blue. Stars that are really nicely animated pass through as well.
Outside of the nice and unique visuals, which is as expected from cometface for me, the gameplay is interesting too. You have to use some cool mechanics to get through the stages and reach the top. The most obvious one is the walljumping, which works surprisingly smoothly and gets consistent fast. There are also some fans that push you up, as well as areas that pull you in, for example around the orb at 0:33. All of these mechanics have good visual indicators, and learning them is quite fun. You also get a coin if you beat it in less than 70 seconds, which is a nice incentive for speed. All in all, I think this deserves 7 Moons and an Epic rating.

This is as expected after having played numerous of their past works; they're always really polished in visuals, and often feature some unique design choices. The same can be said for "Summer Winter". With this one, though, the expected length is much longer. You will probably end up taking at least 4 minutes if you speedrun it and up to 10 minutes on a first attempt. There are 3 crystal collectables that you have to find across the level to complete it, which can prove challenging to reach. This is due to an interesting toggle that switches "seasons", for example making ice turn to water and vice versa. You have to use this toggle to your advantage to get through the rooms and reach the crystals. Visually, it's quite simple both in detail and color for the most part, but this choice highlights the different seasonal objects nicely in turn. This brings the player's attention to the objects that matter most for the gameplay. The switching of music and SFX usage is also really well done, so there's not much to complain about here. Overall, it's a fun Platformer that executes a unique concept really well. I think it deserves an Epic rating, and it will most likely be 9 Moons.

It's been a while since the last time I uploaded a level by Nicki1202, but it's certainly a creator I'm familiar with after a handful of uploads over 7 years. Their clean style is still present, and perhaps even cleaner than before. Default objects are put together nicely in the block designs, decorations, and backgrounds. The way they're put together makes for some simple art, which in turn creates subtle theming. Some examples are 0:15 with nature objects and the backgrounds for the entire level. However, since the objects used for the art are clearly defined, and not too custom, it's very clear that it's a Geometry Dash level, which I appreciate gameplay-wise. It's easy to sightread throughout. The only minor exception is 0:48 and beyond due to some camera rotation, but it's fine if you've adjusted to it. All in all, I think this deserves an Epic Easy Demon rating!

ItzKiba is a creator I'm very familiar with, having uploaded numerous of their levels. Those were in 2.1, though, so they were all Classic levels. Seeing how previous creating skills transition to 2.2, and especially Platformer, has been fun so far, and that's no different with ItzKiba. With the level type being Platformer instead, the level design overall naturally stands out from their other works. A lot of the new pixel blocks are also used. However, the polished look with just enough detail and color mixing, as well as some effect usage, is reminiscent of their other works. The level looks really nice overall.
As for the gameplay, I found this relatively enjoyable overall. Since I tried to go for the coins, which require speedrunning, some collectables, and a deathless run, I had to try to rush some parts a bit and restart often (if I died). This does make the level a bit less fun to play, with harder parts getting frustrating after several deaths. The part at 1:13 was probably the hardest. This one also has a 10-second cutscene before it, which became a little annoying to rewatch every attempt. These are minor complaints for a 5+ minute level, though. Each part had some cool challenge and was fun to learn. In the end, I was unable to reach the speedrun coin, and I didn't get the deathless coin even though I'm pretty sure I didn't die in this run at all. If you try to beat this after watching, I'd recommend skipping the coins and just enjoying the gameplay, as it isn't really worth going for them.
The main thing that makes this level worth playing is the ending cutscene. Starting from 3:46, it has sick atmosphere with the fires lighting up in order, and then an interesting conversation with some robed character. The great SFX usage, both for the fires and the talking, is what makes it so engaging. At the end, the character kills you (and I'm assuming you can't avoid this), before it says "Floor 1 - The Catacombs". It seems like ItzKiba may make this into a series called "The Crimson Depths", which would be really cool to follow. Maybe in one of them we get to fight the character as a boss.

It's quite tricky to beat with a lot of memory gameplay and decent length, but if you're a fan of that, you should definitely try it out. Some of the later parts feature cool dual gameplay as well. In difficulty, it should be a Hard Demon once rated.
As you can see in the video, it uses static camera in a Classic level really nicely, making the illusion that there's different "rooms" you're going through. There are 4 rooms that look the same in sequence before you reach new visuals. Each of these sections of 4 rooms have a title in the top left corner. With each new section, the level gets more and more intense, mixing in more colors, shaders, and particles. These visual choices fit the titles well too. The overall progression from darkness to brightness is really well done and works perfectly with the song choice. With everything in mind, I think this deserves an Epic rating.

I think that's a good choice. It's a really cool level visually, featuring detailed art both in the background and foreground, as well as great colors to go with it. With this amount of detail, you'd expect it to use many objects, but it's really optimized with below 30K objects. This makes it very accessible to players on all devices. Normally, I find art levels with this amount of detail a bit hard to read, as it can be difficult to distinguish the intended path from obstacles. However, that doesn't really apply here in my opinion; it's easy to sightread and satisfying to beat when you do it.
The majority of this was made in 2.1, but the part from 1:00 is made in 2.2 (indicated by the text). This makes sense due to the Swing mode, camera rotation and zoom, and the particle usage. galofuf did a great job of incorporating these features well, and fast too as this has already been out for 2 weeks. These new features on top of the the awesome dragon art makes for an epic climax. I'm looking forward to what galofuf creates in the future!

It already has an Epic rating in-game, but it's definitely high enough quality that I think it deserves all the attention it can get from videos and such. As you may see quickly when playing or watching this, the whole concept is based around flipping platforms (as the name implies). At first, these must be used to be able to jump over obstacles, but later they are used to do clever boosts across whole stages. One example is 1:36, which took me a lot of attempts. This is my first playthrough, but this has a ton of speedrun potential, so if that's something you like, you should definitely play this. There are 15 stages in total, all featuring a checkpoint, as indicated by the text in the top right. The difficulty does gradually increase up until the end, which is a nice design choice as it lets you get into the mechanics before challenging you properly.
Aside from the really cool gameplay, the visuals are also really nice. I like the implementation of the new pixel blocks in the designs, with subtle shader effects on top when interacting with the mechanics. The visuals don't change a whole lot throughout, but I don't mind this when it looks so good to begin with; it also helps emphasize the gameplay since you don't have to readjust at all. Additionally, the introduction of more and more mechanics and obstacles naturally change the visuals enough on their own.
All in all, this is a really great showcase of 2.2's potential, especially in terms of unique Platformer gameplay. I have seen many of zejoant's minigames in Geometry Dash over the years, but I realize I haven't actually uploaded any yet, so it's nice to finally be able to show their talent here.

With it running into 2.2 a bit, they've also introduced some new features, and particularly shader effects. This is most noticeable at 0:21. Outside of that, this is mostly a 2.1 project. It's got a couple creators I've uploaded multiple levels by, as well as some new names, which is always fun to see in such a cool project. Every part incorporates some art, on top of the unique color scheme, making the whole level cohesive. I really like the sense of depth created by the numerous layers in the background and foreground moving at different speeds.
The gameplay is also quite fun, with every part being clear and intuitive to play. I'd only recommend a practice run to get used to a couple of the transitions at the climax, which have some quick gameplay. All in all, this is another sweet megacollab by cherryteam, and it'll be fun to see their full 2.2 projects. With 2.2's optimizations, a lot more people will be able to enjoy big megacollabs, like cherryteam's, in-game themselves rather than just on video.

There are roughly ten stages, which all fill up the entire screen. Your goal is to reach the bottom, both in each stage and the level as a whole, as each stage follows below the previous. The stages gradually introduce unique mechanics, such as the time-limited platforms, pink swirls that boost you, and invisible platforms that can be lit up temporarily. At first, a stage may use only one of these, making it relatively easy to clear, but the last stages mix them all together in clever ways. This can be a little confusing and overwhelming at first, but if you like puzzles it's worth beating in my opinion. It's very satisfying to figure out how to solve a stage and clear it.
The visuals go hand in hand with the gameplay as well. Using an underwater theme for this concept is a great choice, and ImMaxX1 implemented it very well. The block designs and decorations look really good across the board. Most importantly, the unique mechanics use colors that stand out while still fitting in in each stage. My favorite visuals are probably for the final stages, such as at 1:29, where the invisible blocks are covered in fog. It's a great usage of the new particles that fit perfectly with the theme. The small effects when they're toggled on temporarily is the cherry on top. Of course, the audio work is also on point, with fitting SFX when mechanics are used. It's also really cool how the song gets slower and quieter the further down you go.
From uploading some of ImMaxX1's works at the end of 2.1, I knew they wouldn't disappoint in execution, but this surprised me a bit with how clever the puzzle mechanics are. To get the full experience, I think you should try this out for yourself in-game without watching this video too closely. It will probably be rated 8 Moons, so it's not too hard. There are some neat coins for additional challenges like doing it in below 180 seconds and dying 0 times (each stage has a checkpoint).

Last year it was "kr1tmas", which was a really cool Christmas level. This time around, 2.2 just released as well, making this one even more interesting. "Toomas" was put together in just a week. It's definitely not the creators' strongest work, but it's still a very cool level overall. Every part uses the Christmas theme well, utilizing appropriate colors and visuals, whether it's thanks to the block design, decorations, backgrounds, and more. Most importantly, it's a fun level both to watch and play; it's clear that the creators had a lot of fun making this, not taking the process extremely seriously, which I felt while playing. There's a lot of fun art around, as well as fun usage of 2.2 features such as particles, camera controls, and more. This deserves an Epic Medium Demon rating in my opinion.
