Goime 500 V1 Speedrun | 04:10.7 (WR) Algorox 2017-11-05 | why did i have to post that comment in the discord server lolAnyway, this run is simply godly. I have worked so hard over the last three days to accomplish this. Few things that I modified to optimize my run includes:- Did not go to the right side of the observatory roof, found alternative way of getting the block in the map (just jumping more towards the right from the platform before proceeding to the left platform)- Heavily used the marathon glitch as seen in the video- Simultaneously got the 404 (file not found) and number of achievements in the number blocksSome consequences of this were not getting the Jumps = Achievements and the Walking to One Thousand! achievements at a desired time. However, this run was overall definitely the best I've ever done and I'm satisfied!This will very likely be my FINAL run on the V1 category because I am confident that no one else will beat this run. Ever. Additionally, doing so many runs on this category has made me realize that sub 4 isn't humanly possible (might not even be possible with TAS). If I push myself to the absolute limit I might get 04:07 ~ 04:08. But, that's for another time when an alien comes and beats my time. Thanks for all your support! Goime 500 V1 Speedrun | 04:26.9 (Old WR) Algorox 2017-08-31 | I said I'd stop doing Goime 500 V1 speedruns, but two days ago, Stranger replicated and rendered my run almost as good as my 04:54.1 one, resulting in a scary time of 05:07. He seemed to have some better strategies as well.05:07 is pretty close to 04:54.1, so I didn't want it to be beaten so soon. I saw his 05:07 run and learned some new strategies that were definitely faster. After a painful amount of tries, my time shortened significantly to the point where I wondered if sub 4:30 could be done by a human.Now, this is a HUGE deal because just a week ago, sub 5 was a huge deal. SUB 4:30 is a whole THIRTY seconds faster. I couldn't believe myself when I had actually done it, and it wasn't even as hard as I thought.If Stranger SOMEHOW manages to get close to this time again, I will TRY MY HARDEST to get sub 4, which I'M NOT EVEN SURE IS POSSIBLE. (At least not for a human, I have my limits!) I think 4:15 is possible, but that will require a LOAD of practice and perseverance.If sub 4 IS possible, even by TAS and not real time, the speedrun committee will AGAIN have to change the rules and make it a 99.4% speedrun because there is another achievement that requires the player to stay for four minutes.But, heads up to Stranger for almost getting the second sub 5 run!
