Abandoned Railroad Tunnel Finds New Life Kentucky Woodsman 2022-11-03 | The Tanglewood Trail is a hiking and bicycling trail located near Whitesburg, KY. Currently it currently runs along the old railroad bed that used to run into Whitesburg. This old railroad tunnel had been sealed for several years and was just recently opened back and now is part of the trail system. They eventually hope to extend the trail to the top of Pine Mountain where it will include parts of the old wagon trail that was used to cross the mountain before the construction of US119.

The Secret Meetup at my Off Grid Cabin Kentucky Woodsman 2022-04-29 | We were deep into the quarantine in the spring of 2020. Several of the guys had already taken vacation time that they could not cancel for the Spring Meetup in the Mountains 2020 that ultimately ended up being postponed due to the sickness. They were going to have to use their vacation time and have nothing to show for it. So there was a few of us that decided to have a mini meetup at my Off Grid Cabin here on our family farm. Ultimately we were able to hold the regular meetup, but that was to come in June. We practiced our social distancing to the best of our ability and had a great time in the process. We ate well and spent a great couple of nights on top of the mountain at my Off Grid Cabin. Jon "In the Woods with Bigfoot" ended up getting a visit from one our of local bears on this trip, but ole Ruger kept him safe! This is just a few clips of our little meetup showing our meals, gear discussions, and you get to hear some of the wild tales that were told around the camp. I hope you enjoy this little look back at a time where we were all unsure of what to expect in the coming future. Thanks for watching!
