ʜᴇʟʟᴏ L.A. GAPiT FPV 2018-05-07 | Lizzy and I made it to L.A, and now the apartment hunt begins. Got a chance this morning to sneak in some packs right at sunrise before the flocks of people come out. I'm worried it's going to be hard to find places to fly here consistently, but there's just so much to explore. Loving this Helio, I think I'll make the switch and use it for future rigs. FLIP GAPiT FPV 2018-04-23 | More fun on the Island before the big move south. First batch of the new frame being cut soon. I was having one hell of a time with the Helio locking out/desyncing the other day. Turns out I'm not the only one having issues with the Helio/Typhoon2 combo. OrneryD suggested that I try flipping the FC over to help protect the sensitive hardware from the noisy escs, and it worked! This thing feels pretty great, another session or so and I should have it locked in. Final Tune - Mojo 230 GAPiT FPV 2017-11-02 | The guys at IRC have asked me to help them to tune up their new Vortex. So, after completely destroying the first one they sent (instagram.com/p/BWsO3h2hhk3), I was able to tune up the replacement on the newest firmware (BF 3.2.1). This video is the final run. It was a weird one for me to tune, lots of filtering adjustments. I think I've become so used to BF + BLheli that I've not had to really sit down with a rig and work everything out in a while, lol. I believe this will be available as a 'pro-tune' when you flash the latest FW.Really not a bad rig for a BNF, very intuitive to set up. You tell me if you think it flies well. I want to be clear that this is not an endorsement. Buy and fly whatever suits you. I do not work for IRC, and they did not pay me. They very graciously sent me rigs to play with and tune (and accidentally destroy), and I'm just happy to have been a part of the process. Hopefully people will enjoy the tune and have fun! TURNover GAPiT FPV 2017-10-30 | Refreshed some hardware on the rig. The hobbywing stacks have really held up, I think I'll be using those for a good while. Between the Hypetrains and the LS 2207 2400's (this whole video is LS 2207), I finally got bumped off a year-long red-bottom kick, too.
