SILLVIK - JOL (CLUB VERSION) Joel Eriksson aka JOL 2024-12-06 | SILLVIK is a gem by the ocean in Gothenburg. The club version of the Sillvik anthem puts it on the map or it just might blow up your speakers.The song was created as a contribution for a party at Sillvik and was revealed at night, with the lyrics video projected on a wrinkled sheet, duct-taped to the wall. It was quite a rare and memorable experience.The crowd and the club setting were originally created for the video "FIRE" by JOL and re-used for this project. Most objects and the character are modeled and textured by designer Eri Kagoshima. The lights are animated from separate audio stems in the song. No generative AI was involved in the video or the song production. The vocals were recorded by Joel through a regular microphone and then voice-changed to a sweet female voice, keeping the original pitch and any flaws un-perfected. The main visualizer, projected on the stage's curtain, has a face-captured girl singing. The Northern Lights footage was taken with a digital camera by Jonas Quant.
