Check out Lena Raine (they are amazing): http://lena.fyi/SystemGlitch - Rite of PassageSystemGlitch2023-12-02 | Yo. How's life?
This track started on a whim and continued almost uninterrupted until the level it has reached over the course of several days. Wish all tracks would go as smoothly as this one... but alas we can't 'em all.
I feel like I improved on the electronic genre quite a bit, pretty proud of how this turned out. Still not quite the level of detail of some of the electronic tracks I listen to, but it's getting there. Hopefully this is enjoyable to listen to.
“Skinner, Skinner! He’ll eat your tails and tear off your skin! He’ll pluck out your eyeballs and devour your kin! Skinner, Skinner! Run while you can! Your flesh will be taken with a touch of his hand! Hide in the darkness, hide in the light. Fighting is useless; Skinner is fright. He takes our scales and hides our bones And makes this place our very last home. Skinner, Skinner, never open his door. Or soon your bones will lie on this floor.”
With that out of the way, this track is essentially his battle theme or 'unleashing' theme. His battle with Erin was pretty darn awesome, hopefully this song captures that awesomeness.
Thanks again for listening :DThe Wandering Inn Unofficial Soundtrack - Prelude to The King of Destructions AwakeningSystemGlitch2023-04-08 | He has awakened from his sleep, he will rise once more...

Long belated upload for Youtube-- there were just enough tracks in the Unofficial Soundtrack such that my sloth got the better of me, but now I will finally be uploading all of TWI tracks that I've neglected.
This is the main theme for The Wandering Inn, a light novel written by pirateaba. Story can be read here: wanderinginn.wordpress.com This track was fan-made purely for fun and inspiration from the story. I think this theme captures the overall vibe I got from reading it, a magical world filled with many wonders. There are so many different things about the world it's hard to convey it all in one main theme, that's why I didn't start with this one and rather focused on individual characters. Also, credit to Lucas James-- I used a bit of his melody from the Audiobook intro. Now though, it's a thing, and so I hope you enjoy the thing because I certainly did enjoy making it.Thanks for listening :D
This was Day 29's prompt "Death", so I decided to finally make a theme for the legendary character that is The Necromancer from TWI! Mix of the elegant organ and the ambient-ish metal-y vibe, and it turned alright.
I really enjoyed reading this scene and I thought I'd make a track out of it. Very emotional moment in the story after so many things had happened. Also you might notice the text in the video is "Somber" but I decided that was not the right word for the title of this track, and the one in the video title is the actual name. So uhhh... Whoops?
Sufficed to say it's been a year, more or less. This track specifically took me quite a while to really nail but it eventually came to pass. Hope ya'll like this one ^^
Got inspired after reading the attack on Rhir's walls by the hands of "Death of Magic", aka Silvenia. I just thought a slow start (the mist and the confusion), leading into the heavy metal part (the attack fully initiates) would be a fitting progression to the fight.
This is the third and final track commissioned by pirateaba as part of my unofficial Soundtrack for their web story, The Wandering Inn! This one was one of the more challenging one as Mrsha's backstory has both happy and sad parts, and blending it with her personality in the form of a music track took some experimentation but I managed to get it together into this lighthearted track.
This is the first track commissioned by pirateaba as part of my unofficial Soundtrack for their web story, The Wandering Inn!
I had a song prior to the commission already with the choir growl vocals here from 'Dayking' which is in the track credits below, and I thought it really fit a 'goblin battle' type scenario.
But only for now since I'm actually kind of busy and don't have much time to make music unfortunately. I'm home only on some weekends and I don't always feel like working on uploading a song. Still, this time I decided I wouldn't let up.
Hope you enjoy this as usual! Oh and if you're by chance a vocalist feel free to hmu with your vocals/lyrics over this and I'll mix em in.SystemGlitch - 0xNULLSystemGlitch2020-07-09 | inspired by osu map music
Also also, I'M BACK I really need to figure out a faster way to edit videos. It's just such a hassle to put edit and render, which is the main reason I haven't been uploading. Hopefully I'll come up with a solution soon enough.SystemGitch - Little Lost GothSystemGlitch2019-10-21 | Honestly, the best part of making this was recording the crouch dance with madeline. :croucheline:
This track is a little doodle I made a while ago. Someone I knew introduced me to clone hero map music and I started listening to the Soulless series. Some of the arpeggios in this song were inspired from there, and they sound pretty epic in this context.
Hopefully you like this. Back to fine-tuning songs.
Taking me forever to figure out youtube formats. apparently I have to be popular for a better format. ugh.
Anyway, this project is another edm-y thing I was trying out. I really wanna nail an electronic song, and it just takes so much and attention to detail to really flesh out each song. I think this one is alright, but could be better...
I've got lots of projects on the way, but whether I'll finish them or not is up to my writer's block. Need to get inspired.

Oh boy. Lots of new people from the yousician competition. Maybe I should come up with some sort of catchphrase like "Aboard the Systemaniacs Crew Ship!" or "Have a Golly ol' time!"
...nah
But anyway. This track. I'm proud of the general feel that I got. I think I'm getting closer to the ideal level of mixing, at least for these types of genres. The melody in the beginning and in the chorus' was reworked; ended up scrapping the initial one due to it not fitting the mood.
I've been told this track sounds sort of like an instrumental. So if anyone wants to do vocals, feel free to contact me or add them by yourself! I definitely want to work with vocalists eventually.
As always hope ya'll enjoy this one- Oh wait, I have a catchphrase! Thanks for listening lads~ (I'll make variations of it so it doesn't get stale)

Similar to my song "Image", which I have yet to put on bandcamp this is a practice of my vocal chops. Second time around I tried using many vocal chops and, as it turns out, that sounds much nicer.
Definitely need to keep experimenting in the genre. Also kind of inspired by shelter but a lot of my songs are soo eh. I should work on my own unique song once I get enough practice.
Not to say that this song isn't unique, it's just that I want to come up with the basis of the song of my own, as opposed to just getting inspiration from somewhere else. Albeit most good songs probably did get inspired by something else. A sprinkle of inspiration is needed.
Hope you find this one entertaining. I certainly do. Thanks for listening (heart emoji-- since angled brackets aren't allowed)

I had this idea of a mashup for awhile, these two songs in particular I really liked and decided to combine them.
Structurally I think this song could've been better. But it would've taken way to long to rearrange the song and remix everything properly. What ended up working however is the melodies of both songs. While distinct, I managed to make the transitions reasonable and it ended up working quite well!
Lots of fun working on this track. I'm also working on an album right now, so maybe expect that sometime in the future. it's gonna be neat :P

I added my own vocals in a few parts, which is the first time I'm doing something like that in one of my own songs. And it turned out pretty okay, at least in my opinion. There's an instrumental version in the download links below, if you prefer that.
After replaying and re-listening to Ori and the Blind Forest and it's Soundtrack, I got inspired to make actually good orchestral stuff. But I find that my samples are a bit lackluster, and that I need better strings, piano, horn and maybe drums. Maybe if anyone knows a good free/not so free pack/plugin then please do share with me.
Maybe it's not even the samples, but my composition that needs improvement. Regardless, I think I improved mixing-wise, because for this song I listened through 4 different audio sources to get a decent mix, which I'll do from now on for new releases.
I find that in orchestral pieces, like in Ori, there instruments come from all directions; the only way I know that can achieve that is by recording in a proper place, but is it possible to achieve the same effect digitally? How would you make, say, a low tom sound come from the far right? That's the kind of stuff I need to research more about when making these songs.
Oh well. For now I hope this track suffices. I couldn't resist adding an electric guitar at the end. :P

Anyway. Back with more stuff. This track took two days to make, apparently J-rock (If this even is that, hopefully it's at least reminiscent of it) isn't that hard if you have the right instruments. I think it sounds pretty spicy, I need to make this stuff more often for practice purposes.
..I've used the term 'spicy' too much. Better stop before it becomes second nature.
Trying to be more consistent but failing to do so. Maybe I should just give up on the video every two weeks idea? And post whenever I feel like it?
I'll decide later. I really should be sleeping right now.

I have to say that it's one of, if not the best story I have read, and I would highly recommend you go and give it a read, as of me writing this description there are now 4 volumes, the 4th is being written and new chapters come out every week, each being around 10,000 words long! That's crazy! And they release 2 chapters like that a week, which is even more impressive.
Gushing aside, this is probably my biggest project so far, and first video with this much editing. This also serves as a book report for my English Assignment, so that's a plus. Hopefully people like it and some new people who haven't read the story will read it because of this.
Might be also one of my best orchestral works, but that's up to you.
Also, I made a soundtrack for this story too. Yes, a trailer wasn't enough. It will be posted on Youtube eventually once I stop procrastinating on it, but at the moment it's available for listening on Soundcloud: soundcloud.com/systemglitchy/sets/the-wandering-inn-soundtrack

Hope it's likeable, as always :)
And I'm opening up a Bandcamp! Soundcloud has an upload time limit so I'm overcoming that by making my tracks available for download there. Huazzah!

It's always the toughest to come up with names for these Electronic/EDM tracks, I tried to give it an open-ended name that leaves the listener to determine it's meaning.
Maybe this song will resonate with you and you could relate to it in some way. I always appreciate feedback :D
Anyways, after listening to a lot of Madeon and being inspired by 'Shelter' I decided to make an EDM style track with a but of chopped up vocals and an exciting melodies, but also ones that have meaning beyond first listen.
Gonna be busy for the next couple of weeks, I have a few more projects in the works which I'll hopefully get done by middle of December. Oh and small update: I'll open up a Patreon account somewhere around February, who knows, maybe I could become a good enough musician that people would choose to support me.
Either way, hope ya'll enjoy this song. I know I did (~^ - ^)~

Ah well, can't have everything right off the bat. Plus my current skill status doesn't allow me to work well with vocals, I'd have to practice that to get better. Just like every other skill.
This song was took inspiration from many sources.. mainly the concept of an ability to reset the world to a certain point in the past-- a checkpoint/savepoint. After watching Boku no dake ga Inai Machi, awhile ago I was quite fascinated by the concept, and only recently have I thought to put it into my music.. where it starts over and takes slightly different routes.
It's an interesting concept overal and it was quite fun arranging the jazzy-ish parts. I should do more jazz. I also tried out more text and effects to make it more interesting.. lemme know if there's anything I could improve.

Seriously some of these songs are too good. I don't wanna make them sound eh with my current meh piano skills. But I guess I'll have to do a bunch more of these cover songs to get better at doing them. For now hopefully my playing is listenable to :3
With that, this is something I've wanted to do ever since I thought of the idea of uploading my own music. This, and a few other songs (which I'll do eventually, too) hold a very special place in my heart because they inspire me. Brave song has a certain vibe to it which I really want to capture in some of my calmer songs, a sort of Japanese/Anison vibe.
Also apparently Japanese music is related to Russian music in some ways? I noticed they do have similarities in structure and chord progressions. They're just being filtered by the modern music which makes it hard to know where anything came from. Nonetheless it's a style I'm getting into and I want to learn more about, I'd love to know if some of you know of sources that can help me achieve a better 'anime' vibe. Maybe I'll just study loads of anime/Japanese songs.
Well anyway, that's all. Hope ya enjoy this one. (P.S sorry for late upload. blame tests and school and stuff)

I actually improvised the main melody in this song awhile back and remembered it, it came out pretty neat here. Still could use improvement but eh

Hey there :) This is my cover of a song I really liked from Xenoblade Chronicles, called Reminiscence (which took me a few dozens of tries before I could spell it right the first time), I followed the music box version from the soundtrack, it was much easier to figure out because the notes were isolated. And it was pleasant to listen to lol. (I might make a remix of this because it's really nice) Hope you find it enjoyable! :P

This project actually started out as a remix of another song but I ended up scrapping the idea and instead I did this one.
