19th IEEE Symposium on Fusion Engineering (SOFE-2021)
We present a high field side (HFS) lower hybrid current drive (LHCD) multijunction launcher to be installed in the DIII-D tokamak. HFS launch of 4.6 GHz lower hybrid waves in DIII-D at n||=-2.7 accesses improved current drive efficiency of 140 kA/MW at r/a=0.6-0.8. A novel multijunction launcher reduces circulating power to lower electric field below the 9.3 kV/cm multipactor threshold over a wide range of edge densities (ne=1017 to 1018 m-3) with a traveling wave power divider and by matching launcher aperture impedance to the plasma edge.
Additive Manufacturing (AM) of Radio Frequency (RF) launchers from Glenn Research Copper 84 (GRCop-84) gas atomized powder with Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) allows configurations unachievable with conventional machining processes while providing a fully dense, vacuum compatible structure without subsequent hot isostatic pressing.
GRCop-84 is a Cr2Nb (8 at. % Cr and 4 at. % Nb) precipitation/dispersion hardened alloy where precipitate structure is refined during rapid melting and solidification during the LPBF process increasing ultimate tensile strength to 700 MPa through the Orowan mechanism, exceeding competing CuCrZr alloys, while maintaining 80% conductivity of pure copper. Annealing resistance during sustained temperatures of 800°C, low boron content, and similar precipitate size and volume fractions to existing copper alloys resistant to neutron induced swelling at imply stability for a fusion reactor environment.
AM with LPBF is a key enabling technology that allowed monolithic printing of the complex RF tuning and matching structures within the poloidal power dividers that were unachievable with conventional machining. RF physics of monolithically printed LHCD launchers incorporating self-supporting RF structures are compared with designs suitable for conventional machining. Pentagonal waveguides self-support overhanging elements with a chamfered roof. Analytic models of RF properties are developed and compered to COMSOL simulations. Chemical mechanical polishing smoothed inaccessible internal AM surfaces for low RF loss. Future launchers may be monolithically printed as complete units allowing versatile RF design. Work supported by USDOE, using User facility DIII-D, under Award Number DE-FC02-04ER54698, MIT contract number DE-SC0014264. This work made use of the MRSEC Shared Experimental Facilities at MIT, supported by the National Science Foundation under award number DMR-14-19807.

DEMANDS: Justice 4 all! Prosecute the police! Reopen all past cases of police brutality!
The trial of the police murder that shook the world was barely days old before the police killed another unarmed civilian just miles away from where George Floyd was murdered by Minneapolis police. While the verdict was being announced another civilian, 16-year-old Ma’Khia Bryant was killed in Columbus, OH. 13-year-old Adam Toledo of Chicago was killed while his hands were up, Andre Brown, Jr was killed by North Carolina police, and video has just emerged showing the brutal and fatal arrest of Ronald Greene in Louisiana. Every day across the United States, unabated, another civilian is killed by police. Hundreds of impacted families are joining together to say enough! They are demanding that the police that have killed their loved ones be put in jail. They are demanding that all past cases of police brutality be reopened. On May 25, in various cities, impacted families will be leading actions in commemoration with the 1-year anniversary of the murder of George Floyd to demand Justice for all victims of police brutality in the US and to demand their cases be reopened.
In Boston, local families are also joining this national call. Mass Action Against Police Brutality alongside the fighting families, and community supporters will host a March and Rally, meeting at Franklin Park at the Zoo entrance at 6pm, Tuesday, May 25th. The families of Terrence Coleman, Usaamah Rahim, Juston Root, Eurie Stamps, Jr, and Burrell Ramsey will be demanding the systematic reopening of past cases of police brutality by the county DA’s, the Attorney General, or Governor Charlie Baker. They demand the officers involved should be indicted and the cases go to trial. “My son was killed by the Boston PD and the FBI. We won’t stop fighting until we win! Please support me and other mothers who have lost their sons to police violence,” said Rahimah Rahim, the mother of Usaamah Rahim killed by police on June 2, 2015 in Roslindale, MA.
Families are announcing a March on Washington and the Department of Justice on August 28, the 58th anniversary of the historic civil rights march, demanding all cases of police brutality be reopened. The march already has over 260 impacted family members from 35 states that have endorsed and are planning to participate. (maapb.org/mowdoj.html)

While in power, Trump/Pence regime cohered and energized a fascist movement, whose roots go back decades, and which has, as one of its' core elements, a brutal white supremacist outlook. This fascist movement has many facets, not just the thugs in the streets of Washington D.C., but also in the halls of power throughout this country. The voter suppression legislation rammed through the Georgia State Legislature and which has been introduced in 47 state legislative bodies around the country is an extremely ominous expression of this fascist movement that is targeting Blacks and other people of color. It is a 21st century version of Jim Crow America that needs to be exposed, condemned and defeated. There needs to be a much higher level of awareness and of active opposition.
This Speak Out is being envisioned as an opportunity for different voices to come together to present their thoughts on what this voter suppression represents and how it can be opposed.
At the same time, we recognize that the murder trial of Derek Chauvin is entering a critical stage and there is a lot riding on the outcome of the case, so we want to incorporate this into the day, in whatever way speakers and participants deem appropriate.
As always, Refuse Fascism welcomes everyone who wants to participate and who agrees with our core organizing principle of mass non-violent protest.

When: Monday, March 29th, 5pm
Where: Terrence Coleman Park (Peter's Park on Washington street/South End)
While opening remarks begin in the trial of Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin, the Terrence Coleman family in conjunction with Mass Action Against Police Brutality are calling a demonstration gathering at Peter's Park at 5pm Mon March 29, on what would have been his 36th birthday.
On March 29, it will be 4 and a half years since Terrence Coleman was killed by Boston Police officers Garrett Boyle and Kevin Finn in the hallway of his apartment on Shawmut Ave in the South End of Boston near Peter's Park. His mother Hope Coleman called for an ambulance that night to check on Terrence who had a mental disability. Besides EMT's, police arrived. When Terrence refused orders to go with the EMT's a confrontation ensued. Police claim Terrence had a knife and was attacking the officers. Hope who accompanied Terrence at the moment police barged in says Terrence did not have a knife. Police claim Hope was not present during the confrontation.
Former Suffolk District Attorney Dan Conley refused to file any charges on the officer. Hope Coleman and her supporters are demanding that District Attorney Rachel Rollins immediately reopen the investigation and prosecute officers Boyle and Finn to the fullest extent of the law. If Rollins fails to act we demand Governor Baker or Attorney General Maura Healy immediately assign a special prosecutor to reopen the case of Terrence Coleman.
On April 4, 2018 Hope Coleman filed a federal civil rights lawsuit against the City of Boston, the Boston Police Department and others for the wrongful death of her son. To this date the city has not offered any compensation to the Coleman family for the loss of Terrence. We demand full financial compensation for the Coleman family.
Supporters of the Coleman family are also demanding that Peter's Park be renamed as Terrence Coleman Park in remembrance of Terrence Coleman, mental health, and police accountability.
The ANSWER Coalition stands in solidarity with the Asian community in the midst of the horrific, racist, and misogynist massacre that took place in Atlanta on March 16th.
The alarming rise in hate crimes over the past year correlates to an increasingly hostile U.S. foreign policy towards China. The opportunistic scapegoating of China during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, coupled with the intensity by which China is deemed the enemy and adversary of the United States, has driven a widespread Sinophobic sentiment nationally. The Asian American community suffers the brunt of the hatred fomented as a weapon of war. To date, there have been 3,800 self-reported hate crimes against Asian Americans.
The mainstream media’s failure to label the Atlanta shooting as a hate crime demonstrates the gross disregard and injustice that our communities are facing. Racism is a sick symptom of a system that profits from war and violence. And to put insult to injury, the cop handling the case was found to be promoting anti-China paraphernalia.
Join us on March 27th for a national day of action demanding an end to anti-Asian racist violence, an end to violence against women, and an end to white supremacy now!

The pandemic has affected everyone, but it has hit essential workers, the working class, and the disadvantaged the hardest. Profits are up for the wealthy, workers are forced to risk their lives, and the far right has attempted a coup. The police treated those who invaded the capitol far more gently than those who protested police brutality. It is clear where the sympathies of the police are.
Trump was voted out. However, this is not a mandate for Biden and Harris. While Trump would have been a catastrophic failure, Biden is a manageable failure. Many who voted for Biden were really voting for “Not Trump”. We can and must do better than this. Biden is tied to the 1994 crime bill, concentration camps on the border, and drone killings. Harris has gone out her way as a prosecutor to put oppressed people behind bars. This is class war.
Don’t look to Biden and Harris for salvation. You won’t get it from them. The well off only understand power, and our power, as the people, is mass organization. It is our only way forwards. We need to organize and fight for what we need. No more police brutality. No more unchecked pandemic. No more families torn apart. No more bailouts for the wealthy that leave the rest of us behind. No more white nationalism. Enough!
1. We demand an immediate bailout of working people and the oppressed, not the wealthy elites: cash payments & unemployment benefits, end evictions & foreclosures, free education for all.
2. We demand immediate hazard pay for all workers outside the home. Sick pay when you are quarantined. No protection for employers who endanger the health of workers. Workers should not have to work if they feel their health and safety are endangered.
3. We demand an end to police brutality. Jail Killer Cops! Reopen all past cases of police murder and brutality! We demand the immediate restoration of affirmative action and other programs providing reparations. Black Lives Matter!
4. We demand Indigenous sovereignty! Restore Native lands! #NoKXL and stop the pipelines! No development without full Indigenous consent. Increase federal funding for IHS and Native American nations to fight COVID.
5. We demand equal rights for women, with immediate free government funded childcare, gender pay equity, full reproductive rights , and that perpetrators of domestic violence be held accountable.
6. We demand initiatives to address the problems faced by transgender people. End attacks against transgender folks now.
7. We demand universal free healthcare for all who reside in the US, regardless of immigration status. Opioid, other addictions, and mental health must be treated as healthcare crises NOT law enforcement issues.
8. We demand that all undocumented residents have immediate access to driver’s licenses and permanent legal resident status. Immediate citizenship for all youth in the DACA & for all those with TPS. Halt deportations and release detainees. Close the camps. Reunite the families!
9. We demand the cancellation of all student, medical, and credit card debt.
10. We demand a massive public works program at union wages to construct universal guaranteed housing, hospitals, daycare, and other services for all residing in the US.
11. We demand the closing of military bases all over the world. End all the wars! & blockades. Use the war budget to provide for our needs. We demand an end to the blockades of Venezuela, Cuba, Iran, and N. Korea.
12. We demand action on Climate change. It is a threat to human existence. We demand federally funded massive programs to address the climate change crisis, mass transportation, energy conservation, ecologically sustainable agriculture, and renewable energy sources that drastically reduce the production of greenhouse gases. We demand climate justice.

All out tonight to defend democracy. All out to build a mass movement that can not only defeat Trump, but connect the battle against Trump to the larger fight against state violence and the fight for indigenous sovereignty, environmental, racial, immigration, and economic justice.
All out Tonight!

In remarks at the White House early Wednesday, Trump claimed that he won several states that are still counting ballots, including Georgia, North Carolina and Pennsylvania.
With every tweet and refusal to commit to accepting the legitimate results of the 2020 election, Trump seeks to stoke chaos and fear.
Vote counting is proceeding normally in most states. Trump's claims have so far not resulted in significant concrete actions to interfere with the count, though we must remain vigilant. For this reason the national Protect the Results coalition has decided it will not activate its network today. However, the Boston organizers of the Count Every Vote rally are going forward with our rally on Wednesday, 3:30 pm at the Parkman Bandstand on Boston Common, preceded by a press conference at 3:00.
We demand that every vote be counted, that Gov. Charlie Baker commit to standing by election norms (using this petition: https://www.ipetitions.com/.../tell-charlie-baker-to...), and that Massachusetts' new rules for absentee and early voting be made permanent.
Join us to honor the valid results of the 2020 election, ensure that every vote is counted, and show up to demand the peaceful transition of power. Sign up to attend.

From Now to the Election: Non-Violent Protests that Continue Day After Day United by One Single Demand:
Trump/Pence OUTNOW!
We face a rolling coup barreling to a showdown on November 3rd. The Trump/Pence regime has said they will not abide by an election they lose. The Struggle for the Future Is On: Will it be Fascist, Or, Will We Act?
We face a rolling coup barreling to a showdown on November 3rd. The Trump/Pence regime has said and shown that they will not abide by an election they lose.
It is the regime—Trump, Pence, Barr—who have raised the specter of insurrection and sedition. It is the regime that is tearing up the rule of law. It is the regime that demonizes and brutalizes immigrants, Black people, Latinos, Native Americans, women, LGBTQ people, the media and peaceful protesters. It is the regime that opposes science, leading to a country and a planet burning and drowning, and to unconscionable unnecessary death and illness from COVID.
We face a critical crossroads. The hour is late, but not too late. Relying only on our voting will lead to disaster. The Trump/Pence regime is subverting the election now and preparing to nullify it. Waiting to act till they do so will be too late.
Trump’s MAGA mobs maraud around the country in water and land caravans; they murder protesters and innocent people by guns and by their cars. They spread COVID. They are inflamed with passionate reactionary intensity. All for the purpose of rousing their followers and intimidating and demoralizing all who should be standing up for justice.
Now we must act. Beginning Saturday, October 3rd, gather and bring your family, friends, and community into the public squares of cities and towns across the country in non-violent protest unified by the demand: Trump/Pence OUTNOW! And, come back in waves, day after day. This is possible. We saw this in June and early July where people came out every day for justice for Black Lives. Now, that struggle, and every struggle, and the lives of millions of people hang in the balance. In our diversity, with our multiplicity of causes and demands we must come together and reach out to others to join us, recognizing that should the Trump/Pence regime remain in power it will be a disaster for every just cause, and most of all, for the lives of people here and around the world.
We will act on our principles, modeling the world we aspire to in contrast to the bigotry and hatred of this fascist regime. We will act together with creative joy and with the conviction and courage of standing together not only for ourselves but for all humanity.
In the Name of Humanity, We Refuse to Accept a Fascist America!

We're still on today! Gather in Terrence Coleman Park (a.k.a. Peter’s Park) to commemorate the life of Terrence Coleman. Join in a community campaign to dedicate the park to Terrence and spread awareness of what transpired 4 years ago in his home when he was killed by BPD officers Garrett Boyle and Kevin Finn during a mental health call for an ambulance. As the tragic anniversary of Terrence Coleman’s untimely death approaches, there has not been any semblance of Justice- rather the contrary. The police narrative is disputed and one of the officers who killed him has since been promoted. Led by his mother, Hope Coleman, we will march and continue to demand justice! Join us. Support local victims and families. Spread the word. Bring the same energy and action you have for national cases home to our local community and show Hope you have her back.
We appreciate those who have endorsed and shown support for this event thus far - Freedom Fighters Coalition, Dorchester Art Project, Justice for Eurie Stamps, Boston Party for Socialism & Liberation, Jericoh Boston, The Greater Boston Chapter of the Green-Rainbow Party, Y2Y Network. Trump is already stealing the election. Black and Latino people forced to stand in line 12 hours to vote, mail-in drop off locations shut down during a pandemic while armed white supremacist MAGA militias are being mobilized to intimidate. NOW IS THE TIME TO STAND TOGETHER IN THE STREETS AND PUBLIC SQUARES EVERYWHERE…SATURDAY OCTOBER 24 WE WILL ASSEMBLE IN PROTEST, TO PLAN AND ORGANIZE.
We must vote in big numbers. But, the reality is that voting alone will not stop Trump. The illegitimate rushed confirmation of a theocratic fascist, Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court who is for the immediate purpose of throwing the election to Trump should he lose. Trump and Amy Coney Barrett refuse to commit to a peaceful transfer of power. We face a rolling coup — a theft of an election — heading to a showdown November 3.
Let’s unite and rise like we did in the Spring for Black lives, coming back day after day in non-violent protest – now united by the demand Trump/Pence OutNow! and refusing to stop till they’re gone.
If we base what we do on “news” dominated by the unrelenting hatred and threats at Trump’s rallies on the one hand, and “polls” that Biden is winning and Biden urging us to “just vote” while the Trump/Pence regime steals the election, humanity will lose.
We can change the political situation, holding fast to principles of non-violence, yet determined to prevail. Our numbers, our diversity, and our heart for humanity can sustain us through whatever the Trump/Pence regime tries to do to remain in power. As we grow, we will inspire millions more to join this great struggle, until those in power, to stem the rising tide of protest, are compelled to concede to our single demand that the regime must go.
On Saturday, October 24, come one and all into the public square for mass protest assemblies to demand Trump/Pence Out Now! Let us show the world that we are uniting, with courage and conviction, to drive the Trump and Pence from power.

“Super Happy Fun America” (formerly “Resist Marxism”) has decided to call a rally denouncing “democrat violence,” a tired retread of the failed “march against far-left violence” at City Hall in 2018. This, coming from people who praise Kenosha murderer Kyle Rittenhouse and are in league with the people caught planning murders in Portland, is sadly typical of the hypocrisy and crocodile tears of the fascist right.
It’s not original but it is a message. This comes at a time when their leader, Donald Trump, has been loudly refusing to agree to a peaceful transfer of power should he lose the upcoming election and broadly signaling to his supporters that he will support their violence against his opponents. Like most cowards, the people in SHFA need to work themselves up to violence by making a display of themselves. This is what this rally at this time is about: preparing themselves to accept and, if they work up the nerve, participate in violence against anyone who might object to Trump’s agenda or to his stealing an election.
Fascism is no match for a united people. The people of Boston have proven time and again they see through SHFA’s lies, and that they will come out against fascism, racism, and the Trump agenda regardless of threats from the right. We have, again and again, humiliated and sent home SHFA, “Resist Marxism,” and a veritable graveyard of now-defunct local far right formations (anyone remember “Boston Free Speech”?). They want to be a badass street-fighting force- we have turned them into a meme page with the occasional under-attended street rally. We do this by turning up, getting loud, and making clear: Boston is the people’s city and no place for fascists. Join us on October 18th to make the message clear once again.
Join us in Boston for a socially distant, mask-wearing march against fascism and the biggest threat to our democracy. Make your opposition to the Trump agenda and the appointment of a new Supreme Court justice known. Make your voices heard and encourage everyone to get out and vote on November 3rd. Stand together and march against injustice!

The Trump/Pence Regime Must Go
Trump has told you he will not abide by an election he loses and tells his white supremacist thugs to “stand by.” The Republican Party is Trump’s Party and they are attacking and sabotaging people’s right to vote now. They have readied armed MAGA thugs to intimidate at the polls, and to be in the streets to enforce the Trump/Pence regime’s plans to disregard the election results should they lose. THIS WE CANNOT ALLOW. WE CANNOT WAIT TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS ON NOVEMBER 3RD. THIS IS WHY WE MUST ACT NOW.
Mike Pence, a dangerous holy warrior fighting to take away the hard-won rights of women and LGBTQ people, must go. Bill Barr, hammering in a “law and order” that tears up the rule of law, must go. The whole Trump/Pence regime is fascist, crushing basic rights and liberties, unleashing open terror and violence, accelerating the destruction of the environment, and demonizing group after group on a road to unspeakable horrors.
If fascism fully takes hold in the most powerful country in the world, the consequences for humanity will be catastrophic.
We have already let this come too far. Now we must stop it by driving this regime out of power. Together there is a way out of this nightmare, but you have to act. While we must vote in massive numbers, if we rely only on voting, or wait to see how the vote turns out, it will be a disaster and the regime will likely stay in power, and it will be exponentially harder to stop them.
What We Need to Do Now
Come into the public squares of cities and towns across the country for non-violent protests that continue day after day, united by the demand Trump/Pence Out Now, growing in numbers and not stopping until our demand is won. Inspire others to join you, organize people to mobilize their communities, and keep coming back into the public square in bigger numbers.
Think of this as Grand Central Station – marches come in and go out, teams of organizers come in and go out, news comes in and goes out – reaching and inspiring more people to join the convergence. This is a protest and organizing hub where many things can happen: art and music, film showings, organizing trainings, but the overwhelming and unifying projection is Trump Pence Out Now. This is not an occupied safe space cut off from reality. In fact it is the opposite, bringing people together to squarely face the danger of the Trump/Pence regime and act together to stop it, with everything calling out to broader society to JOIN US! JOIN US! DRIVE OUT THE TRUMP/PENCE REGIME!
Through this process, we build up our numbers, unity, and resolve so that if the regime is not driven out by Election Day, we have a mighty force of people committed to continuing non-violent protests – a mass movement that will not allow whatever the regime tries to do to nullify, sabotage, or steal the election. We have a mighty force of people who refuse to be taken down a road to conciliation, whether Trump wins or loses, and continues to grow and demand Trump/Pence Out Now until they’re driven out.
Imagine all who were in the streets in June and July in the beautiful rising for Black lives, veteran activists from the 60s, youth who are fighting for a future on this planet, or people who have never protested before, coming together in a coalition of the decent people; this is what the German people did not have in order to stop the Nazi regime.
Imagine students, teachers, scientists, medical professionals, lawyers, clergy and their congregations, unions, civil rights and justice organizations, artists, athletes and others in the cultural arena speaking powerfully from their perspectives on why this fascist regime must go and organizing their networks to join the OUTNOW movement. Imagine teams of people going out every day to neighborhoods with stacks of flyers and posters to spread, getting trained as grassroots organizers, coming back in with new people they’ve brought into the movement.
Imagine contingents from other social movements coming in with banners, literature, and just demands, but adding their voices to the demand Trump/Pence Out Now with the recognition of how this regime threatens us all.

Mass Action Against Police Brutality statement on Breonna Taylor
Mass Action Against Police Brutality condemns the cowardly decision of the Attorney General of Kentucky and the grand jury to not indict any officers for the death of Breonna Taylor of Louisville on March 13, 2020. We demand the case be reopened and all officers and officials responsible in the chain of command be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. The only officer charged, detective Brett Hankison, was charged for the relatively minor charge of wanton endangerment whose shots endangered the neighbors of Breonna Taylor.
Breonna Taylor was asleep in her apartment when her and her boyfriend heard loud knocking on the door. They called out to ask who it was and they didn't hear back. As they approached the door someone was knocking it off its hinges. Breonna's boyfriend Kenneth Walker then fired his registered gun fearing a home invasion. The bullet hit one of the officers that was forcing their way into the apartment. Officers returned fire shooting 32 shots. Breonna was hit 6 times and died at the scene.
The officers were executing a 'no knock' warrant on the apartment in connection to a drug investigation. Although Breonna's apartment was on the warrant, Breonna was not listed as a suspect. Neither Breonna Taylor, her sister who lived with her, nor her boyfriend had any criminal record. No drugs were found on the premises. Breonna's former boyfriend who was a suspect in the investigation did not frequent the apartment or live there. In fact, the officers were aware that the suspect was elsewhere when they entered Breonna's apartment.
LMPD Detective Joshua Jaynes either misled or did not execute due diligence when requesting a 'no knock' warrant to investigate Taylor's mail, whom they suspected was receiving drugs or money for her ex-boyfriend. US Postal inspector Tom Gooden stated that LMPD never requested their help to determine if Taylor was receiving illegal packages. Another police agency did however, and the Inspector determined no illegal packages were being received, therefore there was no basis to issue the warrant. Jefferson County Circuit Judge Mary Shaw approved this and 4 other related warrants in 12 minutes on March 12.
The illegally obtained search warrant and lack of discretion of the executing officers led to the senseless killing of Breonna Taylor. While Kentucky Attorney General and other prosecutors across the country continue to refuse to indict, convict, and jail murderous cops across the country, only mass mobilization has brought this issue to the fore.
6 years ago we saw hundreds of thousands take the streets. When George Floyd was murdered we saw millions take the streets. Mass Action believes we still haven't even begun to march. We must tell the government we will not accept its lies and continue to organize public and political pressure on the government to enforce the law when it comes to the crimes of the police, even if it takes tens of millions.

The death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg reminds us yet again of the urgent need to get in the streets to drive out the Trump/Pence regime as we speed toward an election that is being stolen and sabotaged as we speak. Refuse Fascism is calling for a rally/vigil/protest tonight.
"My most fervent wish is that I will not be replaced until a new president is installed." RBG -respect her wish.
The outpouring of grief and despair over RBG's death comes with an existential dread of what we face if Trump is allowed to cement a pro-fascist majority on a court that has already begun to erode women's right to birth control and abortion, legalize discrimination against LGBTQ people, sabotage voting rights, eviscerate the separation of church and state and usher in white supremacist, Christian theocratic control over every corner of society. This is not only aimed at undoing social progress hard-won through movements for liberation - setting the clock back but with a vengeance - but at remaking the laws and changing the form of rule in this country to one of fascist terror.
The NAZI regime remade the courts in the same way, so that by the time they were rounding up people in their thousands and millions, much of their heinous actions were perfectly legal.
People barely had time to process news of Ginsburg's death before Mitch McConnell stated his intention to bring Trump's nominee to a Senate vote before the election, an act of howling hypocrisy from someone who refused to allow the Senate to hold confirmation hearings for Obama's Supreme Court nominee in 2016 because it was an election year. Any attempt by this fascist regime to jam a nominee through the Senate is totally illegitimate and must NOT be allowed.
Any outpourings of support and commemoration for Ruth Bader Ginsburg should be strongly supported by all people who support the rights of women and oppose fascism. Such outpourings must become sites of political battle against the Trump/Pence fascist regime, its assault on the rights of women, and its overall program of fascism—a program which they are rapidly bolting further into place as the election approaches. And all the feeling and outrage around this must in turn become part of building mass nonviolent sustained struggle, day after day, to drive this regime out of power.
Refuse Fascism has launched "60 Days of Struggle" to remove this hated regime. On Monday, September 21st, people all around the country will be coming into the streets in the "March Against Death, Lies, and Fascism and For Humanity! Trump/Pence Out Now!" People need to go to Action Network and find a protest near them or, if there is not one close at hand, ORGANIZE one. In Boston, we will be gathering at Park Street T Stop at the corner of Tremont and Park Street at 4:00 PM.
People need to be in the streets NOW. It has never been more clear that we cannot wait until the election and then decide to come into the streets once the Trump/Pence regime has made its move.

It's time to end systemic racism, protest with us for racial equality in all facets. We'll meet at the Boston Common at 3PM. If you'd like to volunteer for distributing H2O/PPE/Snacks or marshalling you can sign up here:
Our goals for this demonstration are to:
- Express solidarity from Boston and demand justice for Jacob Blake and all victims of systemic racism, wether by the police, the education system, the court system, money lenders, the prison industrial complex or any other fascist aspect of the police state.
- Encourage communities to come together and propose policies to abolish qualified immunity, remove officers with repeat infractions, end the police's ongoing occupation of minority communities and reallocate police funding to the education, health, and livelihood to those who have continually fallen prey to the system.
- Encourage open and honest conversation amongst progressives, and engage in coalition building with local organizations, groups and individuals to provide an easily accessible network of resources for those in need in our communities, as well as for those who wish to get involved.
- Promote unity within the working class and spread awareness of the systemic injustices and fascist activity disproportionately affecting communities of color, the importance of coalition building, communal reliance, and understanding intersectionality

Drive Out the Trump/Pence Regime!
In Boston - Copley Square 4:30-6:00PM
Trump accuses protesters of “violence,” brands them “terrorists,” and wants to lock them up for life.
But it is Trump who has continually encouraged police to “take retribution” against protestors (yes, he said that) and, in regard to their treatment of Black and Brown people, has incited police in speech after speech to be tougher, to “not be so nice” and all kinds of other inflammatory stuff. It is Trump supporters who have carried out murder and slaughter.
The fascists hope their violence terrorizes people into compliance with the nightmare they are fighting to lock in place through a second term of the Trump/Pence fascist regime. The opposite must be true.
We will never forget the 11 slaughtered at the Tree of Life Synagogue, the 23 massacred in El Paso by a shooter who targeted Latinos, the numerous Muslims murdered, the escalated police violence and murder of Black and Brown people, the cruel deaths of immigrants at the border and in detention, and more.
We will celebrate and commemorate the at least 15 heroes who gave their lives while standing up for Black lives and for justice generally. Their deaths will not be in vain! That the full number of lives lost is still unknown, is itself an indictment of the normalizing of fascist violence.
Most of all, we will come together to fill their shoes and go even farther, overcoming fear and uncertainty, uniting from many different perspectives, rallying others to join us in mass, sustained, nonviolent protest that does not stop until the Trump/Pence regime has been driven from power and its whole fascist program brought to a halt.

The shocking murder of George Floyd by officer Derek Chauvin in Minneapolis, MN woke the world up to the pandemic of racism and police brutality. Yet the casual shooting of Jacob Blake in the back 7 times by officer Rusten Sheshkey in Kenosha, WI reveals that despite ongoing protests, an insidious culture continues to pervade the police in our society. Officer Seshkey, like officer Chauvin, both acted as if there were utterly no possible consequences for their actions. The system has given police officers a green light to kill, especially Black people, because of their refusal to indict, convict, or jail the thousands of officers who have killed or maimed civilians.
The families of those killed by the police and survivors of police brutality have their lives devastated. They and the rest of the world as witnesses are asked to accept that nothing can be done to hold the police accountable. WE SAY ENOUGH!
Mass Action Against Police Brutality, with families in Massachusetts who have lost loved ones to police violence, stand with the Jacob Blake family and demand the prosecution and conviction of the police involved in the shooting and paralyzing of Jacob Blake. We demand the prosecution and conviction of armed vigilante Kyle Rittenhouse who wounded protestors killing two.
We demand Governor Baker immediately assign a special prosecutor to reopen all past cases of police brutality in Massachusetts.
We defend our right to peacefully assemble and publicly protest!
