Wine Cork Snowman - Make an ornament with all those wine corks that we save!

Perfectly Imperfect Junk Journals 2023-11-10 | We all have extra swag in our craft room and because I will be at a craft fair, I found my stash of wine corks. I wondered what can I do with these and pulled up a clipart sample of a snowman, and the results are these cute Snowman Ornaments!

List to make Wine Cork Snowman Ornament
- Wine Cork for the body
- Ball Knob (3/16” hole 1 ¼ diameter) for snowman head
- Skewers (1 ¾” Length) for arms
(Use an awl on side of cork for holes to insert the arms)
- TEMU - 20pcs, Mini Knitting Hat Christmas Hats
- Black Sequins for eyes (small) buttons on vest (medium)
- Ribbon for vest
- Black felt for mittens – 4 for each ornament
(Create a mitten pattern from paper for consistency)
- Yarn or holiday material for scarf
- Orange paper for carrot nose
- Screw Eyes & Color Hemp Cord for ornament hanger
- White Paint
- Black marker to draw mouth on snowman

It is always tough to take apart an old book, especially a Reader's Digest, but sometimes your creative self is calling.

The inside pages are are vintage and are used as background to some pages. I also used to make bookmarks for a Craft Fair.

Perfectly Imperfect Junk Journals 2023-08-30 | I tried something new. Because I like to doodle a lot, I decided to copy to nice linen paper for greeting cards. And the envelopes are also handmade from good quality paper I had in my stash.

Each set has 10 cards and I included double stick tape to seal.

After I printed, I re-colored each card so each card can look like new.

The inside of the cards are blank to add your special message and each card is approximately 5 ½” x 4”.

Perfectly Imperfect Junk Journals 2023-05-11 | I have so much extra scrapbook paper & swag that it motivated me to use to make this very creative Junk Journal.

The cover comes from a Minute Made box and the inside signature pages are from a variety of cereal boxes. The best chip board paper to use. I used old sheet music pages as a collage for the back ground and painted the inside pages with acrylic paint.

This was my first time making these cool strawberry hats. I looked in YouTube and Pinterest and just couldn't find one that looked like a strawberry. So thank you to my sister Trish who, after viewing a picture of a strawberry, she helped me creative these hats. I did follow a video on the base of the hat and for the flowers and butterflies that I added. Thank goodness for the creative YouTube Crochet Experts.

Making small changes to a Junk Journal Cover.

How I turn clothing price tags into creative tags for Junk Journals / Scrapbooks.

These tags were made from clothing price tags. So many of them are strong chip board and what a perfectly imperfect way to make into tags for junk journals or any scrapbook.

The tags are different sizes for a variety to fit any journal. I used left over scrap paper…I don’t like to throw away anything. And those who craft know what I mean when you have extra scrap paper after you cut for another project.

I also like to keep the theme of the scrap paper The final touches are the eyelets with ribbon from old greeting card.

You can say that this is a true finished product of recycled materials. There is a total of eight quality made tags.
