The Warning - Narcisista - Foro DiDiMatthew Fraser2019-06-15 | The first public performance of The Warnings new song Narcisista performed at Foro DiDi in Monterrey Mexico June 14th 2019
Apologies for the bad start to this video, I was having some technical issues with my iPhone not doing what I wanted it to do, so had to make a few edits in post.
In order to make it slightly easier to play I tuned the E string to F, but the rest is played as Ale plays it on the album (only not as good obviously).

patreon.com/TheWarning thewarningband.com youtube.com/channel/UCeZHVOA5rP9rHoa7zKCx7kQWhen Im Alone - The Warning (Patreon Cover)Matthew Fraser2022-01-09 | We decided to make this video in response to The Warning having to postpone their Mayday tour. We know that it hit them very hard to have to do this and as much as we all wanted it to happen, the current situation in the US made it too risky.
We, as they, are heartbroken, but it's only a postponement and this tour will happen and will be a huge success.
We want you to know that you are not alone and we are with you all the way.
A huge shout out to everyone involved, from the original idea to it's conception took just over three days.
I hope you enjoy.

With an incredibly catchy chorus, awesome guitars, a thunderous bass and obviously some pounding drums it gets me really excited to hear the rest of the album.
patreon.com/TheWarningThe Warning - Crimson Queen - Foro DiDi 14th June 2019 - SoundcheckMatthew Fraser2021-04-30 | Those of you who were there or have seen videos of Crimson Queen at Foro DiDi know that during the show itself Dany had a technical issue with her Ovation guitar which meant that it sounded awful and so Dany stopped playing it and just sang, and in fact the guitar was removed entirely from the audio for their official videos.
This is a small clip from the soundcheck to prove that it actually sounded really good then, and the belief is that it was left plugged in and the battery went flat.
It's also nice to see Pau having fun chatting to Ale who's off the left side of the video while Dany's busy working 😁
Of course the only reason I was able to be there at the soundcheck was because I'm a patron of The Warning
thewarningband.comThe End (Stars Always Seem To Fade) - The WarningMatthew Fraser2021-04-15 | This is an acoustic version of The End by @TheWarning performed by Pau for one of her Instagram Pau Days.
Even though it was played recorded in low light and with probably just the microphone on her phone it's an incredible performance which really shows off her amazing voice.
The End has been one of my favourite songs from The Warning's second album Queen Of The Murder Scene since I first heard it, live during their debut performance at Lunario.
The original IG stream was just Pau at the piano and at times the piano overpowered her voice so I've tried to rebalance the audio and added some strings to give the music a little more depth while making the vocal more prominent.
The original stream understandably didn't include the guitar solo that I love so much, so as I was adding strings I thought I'd put in the solo played on the violin and viola.

patreon.com/TheWarningThe Warning - Hunter - Mercury Lounge 3rd Dec 2019 - SoundcheckMatthew Fraser2021-04-01 | Another video I've previously not shared was from the soundcheck for the 1st night at the Mercury Lounge in New York.
At this point they were focusing on the sound and not so much the lights which is why it's so dark, but the sound quality is what matters and as always they sounded amazing, although this recording doesn't do justice to how it sounded in person.
I was able to attend the soundcheck because I'm a patron, which is usually a mini-concert in of itself as they (time permitting) play a few songs and take photos with those who attend.

This was recorded during the soundcheck at the Whisky a Go Go for the second sell out show.

thewarningband.comDull Knives (Cut Better) - The Warning - CoverMatthew Fraser2021-02-14 | The first time I heard Dull Knives I loved it, I recorded a drum cover over three years ago and was thrilled when The Warning (I suspect Pau herself) commented on it and I said at the time I was planning to record a full cover sometime.
At that time I couldn't play the bass or guitar but through Patreon I was able to get tutorials from Ale and Dany which are incredible and made this video possible. Although I do play a few parts slightly differently to them.
Thank you Pau, Dany and Ale for writing such an amazing song and for being such an inspiration to me 🤗

After they were done they came and spoke to us and took photos.

thewarningband.com patreon.com/TheWarningThe Warning - Narcisista - Mercury Lounge 4th Dec 2019Matthew Fraser2019-12-07 | A very special performance of The Warning's first song in Spanish with guest guitarist Jay de la Cueva.
The Warning were the best they've ever been last night, truly incredible performance and a night I'll never forget.
thewarningband.com patreon.com/TheWarningThe Warning - Red Hands Never Fade - Mercury Lounge 4th Dec 2019Matthew Fraser2019-12-05 | Sorry for missing the start, I hadn't intended to record it until I realized Ale was singing.
This show was phenomenal and The Warning were at their best.
Since I first heard 狂乱 Hey Kids!! I was hooked on it and have been listening to it pretty continuously ever since.
I hope you enjoy...Take Me Down - The Warning - Drum CoverMatthew Fraser2019-08-04 | It's been a while since I recorded a drum cover so I thought I'd go back in time a little bit, the first track from The Warning's EP Escape The Mind.
Although in this case I'm playing along to their live recording from Dakota Studio Bar in Monterrey from January 2018 because they play it a little bit faster live compared to the studio version and it allowed me to have a little bit of fun with the video as I've not used my green screen with my drums before.
Featuring on The Warning's second album Queen Of The Murder Scene it was actually first performed nearly a year earlier and it was a sign that their second album would be even better than their first which at the time was my favourite album.
Through Patreon I was able to request a tutorial from Dany, Pau or Ale so I could learn to play one of their songs and it wasn't a hard decision. Although if you've seen my other videos you'll know I mostly do drum covers, apart from the occasional fill I've been able to work out how to play Pau's drum parts without too much difficultly.
When it comes to the bass that's a different matter. I've only been playing on and off for about 18 months (mostly off in fairness as in that time I've also been playing a lot of drums and some guitar as well).
Ale's tutorial is exceptionally good, while she clearly doesn't thrive at that sort of thing, constantly apologising for not being very good at explaining how to play. In truth she's excellent and I know exactly how she plays it. The fact that I can't is more due to my lack of ability than her teaching.
I do play it slightly differently in places to how Ale does to make it a bit easier to play and I make a couple of mistakes and you can tell my general technique needs a lot of work, but I'm quite pleased with the result.
