I had the chance to visit my cousin in Switzerland, she married a Swiss man and have had 2 children whom I met for the first time on my visit. Switzerland is a marvel of beauty, surrounded by mountains, it makes for a great place to hunker down and enjoy life's pleasures, which is what I did. The Cathedral itself is a gargantuan grey sleeping dragon sculpted by the best stonemasons of the time. It dwarfs all other buildings and everyone in its presence.

I had filmed this back in April 2022 and have been craving to return again and pay homage to this remarkable human feat of architecture. Please like and subscribe as I have traveled across Italy as well, more treasures to be unveiled in due course.

Queenstown New Zealand 2025

I have not been so active as I have started a new job and been on holiday to New Zealand. I have family over there so it was lovely to see them again and enjoy the picturesque landscapes. Here is a montage of one of the Towns I visited, I thought it was the most beautiful places in New Zealand.

The ferry was almost 100 years old and was bought for £20,000 at the time. Paragliding was one of the highlights of the trip as it was quite euphoric.

Overall 9/10 would highly recommend Queenstown to any globetrotting tourist.

We went Skiing, I took 1 day off to walk to the Lake and film the Dam with my DJI Air 3 Drone. It was an adventure within and adventure. I thoroughly enjoyed filming such a masterpiece of engineering in this unparalleled landscape.

Stephen outlines the need for mixing apple varieties in order to achieve a good cider. "You wouldn't make a curry with just chili" as " a lot of the art is in the blending"

Cider making is largely dependent on how much sun and water the apples get, much like a wine. From a maintained orchard of reasonable size will give you:

Vintage years, "average years and occasionally crap years".

We took him to Oxford where he learned how to Punt. My Family and I have been several times before and often enjoy it once a year, especially with friends or guests as it is quite tranquil.

How do the British make Wine? Vigo

How do the British make Wine? With imported German engineered kit!

Vigo have made a variety of professional grade equipment. The Kit demonstrated is a 40L Hydraulic press operated with a hose pipe and can reach 3 Bar of pressure which is enough to press chopped up fruit. To chop it up into a fine melange I also bought a Spiedel Mill designed to process around 1,000 kilograms (or about 2,200 pounds) of fruit per hour.

This is in a sense dedicated to him and his time spent studying at this historic University.

Front Garden Landscaping Time-lapse with Drone

My: Father, Bother and I landscaped the family house front garden. Having received feedback from the shed build video (using time-lapse) was quite well received so I thought this was worth filming also in a similar style with the addition to the drone.

It was a slightly windy day so the drone, as it hovered above us working, kept readjusting itself in correspondence to it's GPS co-ordinate, which explains the shaky drone footage.

Landscape gardening costs:

Heavy Duty Rotavator: £80 per day (1 Day)
3 tonnes of top soil: £280 (approximately)
85 square meters of grass: £280 (approximately)
Wooden boarder: £40

Total: £680

How to make Brioche Buns from scratch, with Cassia

I have recently met a Girl from my village called Cassia. She and I share a love for cooking and Videography.

Together we made this short introductory video to demonstrate her craft and share a great recipe.

Milk bread rolls:
For the Tangzhong;
20g strong white flour
100g whole milk
500g ang white bread flour
10g dry milk powder
30g sugar
110g whole milk
6g salt
1 large egg
15g yeast
100g butter
To make the Tangzhong; combine the milk and flour in a small saucepan, and whisk until no lumps remain. Place the saucepan over low heat, and cook the mixture, whisking constantly, until the mixture thickens and resembles Béchamel, about 2-3 minutes. Transfer the Tangzhong to a small bowl and leave it cool.
To make the dough; place the flour, sugar, salt, and milk powder into a mixing bowl. Mix the yeast with 110g of milk and add to the bowl along with the egg and the Tangzhong. Mix the dough together and then knead for about 10 minutes until the dough is smooth and springy.
Cut the butter into small cubes and add to the dough bit by bit, kneading well to incorporate each addition of butter. Continue this until all the butter is completely mixed into the dough. Once all the butter has been added; turn the dough out onto your work surface and shape the dough into a ball, place into a clean bowl, cover and leave to prove for 1-2 hours or until doubled in size.
Knock back the dough and cut it into 12 equal pieces, and shape each piece into a ball. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Place the dough balls into silicone muffin molds and leave to prove for another 40 to 50 minutes, or until puffed up and doubled in size.
Brush the rolls with a little mix of milk and egg to glaze them, and then bake the bread for 15 to 20 minutes, until golden brown on top and firm to the touch. If the dough is cooked, the bread should sound hollow, like a drum, when the bottom is tapped. Remove the bread from the oven, then transfer them to a rack to cool.

Having listened to the Magdalen Choir sing their historic May Morning songs from Magdalen bridge I followed an ecstatic Sun bearing ensemble through the heart of Oxford city center. They boastfully welcomed the summer in with their bellows.
As they marched forward, their cadence echoed through the streets, commanding attention and drew spectators into the spectacle. The collective sound of drums reverberated off buildings and created an immersive auditory experience that transports listeners to a realm of exhilaration and unity.

The Oxford May Day Acrobatic Angel

I had the unexpected joy of witnessing this beautiful woman perform for us.

This was part of the May Day celebrations.

Oxford May Day, or May Morning, is a traditional celebration held annually on May 1st in Oxford, England. It typically involves various festivities to welcome the arrival of spring, including singing, dancing, and revelry. One of the highlights is the Magdalen College Choir singing from the top of Magdalen Tower at dawn, followed by thousands of people gathering to listen to the choir and enjoy the atmosphere. There are also Morris dancing performances, folk music, and other events throughout the city. It's a vibrant and joyous occasion that has been celebrated for centuries, drawing locals and visitors alike.
