Topped by its predecessor.While certainly not flawless, I can't help but fall into the story and those songs...THOSE SONGS. I'm not sure if I'll get hate from this but overtime I've started to see more and more appreciation for this mess of a musical and I am excited.However, as stated before, LND is not without flaws. Particularly, the ending- in my humble opinion. (SPOILERS-)The first time I watched it I was left speechless at the end thinking that Erik should have died instead of Christine. That's what I thought they were building up to and honestly, I think it would have been way more impactful, not to mention a better closer to the overall story. I am in awe as to how they kept the same dread-filled tone and enhanced practically every aspect of it. The humour, the songs, the new teachers are incredible and I will protect Electracy will all my being- and that ENDING.
