Thank you to all of the builders for taking the time to make clips for this project! It's always a pleasure hosting this project every year and it wouldn't be possible without the chain reaction community's hard work and support.
This will probably be my last upload for a while. I am working on a new project but with both college and an upcoming internship, it will likely not be finished for a while.

This machine was surprisingly easy to create! After enduring a nightmarish building process with my Domino World machine for this year, I decided to ease on professionalism and was pleasantly surprised when almost every trick in the machine was relatively easy to make and didn't really take more than a day each to create. I was able to exceed almost all of the goals I set for myself every day during the building process and filming wasn't too horrible either. This was definitely the most fun I've had making a project in a while.
I decided to go with an island-themed aesthetic when I edited this machine since it was built in an area isolated from the rest of the room (and because it gave me an excuse to use one of my personal favorite EDM tracks). Let me know in the comments what you think!

I want to give shoutouts to TheContraptionKing for making the ball ricochet idea and cwdreactions for making the ball-in-slinky idea that I used in this machine. I don't like to make tricks that have already been done and already had these ideas planned before they were premiered (the ball ricochet idea was actually the primary reason I wanted to build another machine inside of a bookshelf), but I definitely want to give credit where credit is due. The slinky idea was tricky during the building process and I don't think I would have included it if cwdreactions hadn't already demonstrated that it was possible. I also want to give props to jackofallspades98, as many of his mechanisms from 50 Fundamental Chain Reaction Mechanisms were useful in the process of making this machine. As for future projects, I am back in college as of the release of this video and will be unable to build for a time, but I did spend a good bit of time building for other projects this summer. I will be uploading my Domino World 2021 machine when the event is finished and sometime this fall, a fourth installment to the Builders Collab series should be released (only this video will be quite different from its three predecessors). Make sure to subscribe so you don't miss them!
I am interested in commissioned work. If you have any needs pertaining to chain reaction art, please feel free to email me at sirgabealot11@gmail.com.
From this point forward, I do not intend to make any more episodes of Spicing it Up. A big part of why I wanted to make a third episode was so I could end the series with an episode that I knew would be the last episode I'd make. While more episodes in the future are possible, expect this one to be the last one for now.
If you enjoyed this project, perhaps you'll enjoy some behind the scenes videos on it as well.

Thank you very much for watching! I love this series as it showcases the chain reaction community well and allows many builders to collaborate with builders they have not collaborated with before. If you enjoyed this video, I highly recommend subscribing to my channel. I make videos like this all the time.
This machine was built as part of my first "business inquiry" as a chain reaction artist. A local film company was making a documentary where they wanted to incorporate some form of dominoes into the machine, and when they discovered my work, they asked me to build a machine for them. It was fun constructing a machine for this project, especially because if I ever needed any materials, I could just tell the director and he would have them mailed over. The documentary is called "What Lies Inside" and has now been released. Be sure to check it out!
Given that this was a professional film company, they gave me a table of their own to build on that lit up from the bottom. After I finished building the machine, they came over with professional camera equipment and set up curtains and intricate lighting to film what they needed for their documentary, and I got to film the footage for the "machine as a screenlink" using their high-quality setup (which is why the screenlink looks different from the working test of the machine). Since I knew that I'd be doing some filming with professional lighting, I made sure to use a lot of objects that look good on camera, such as gears, the kinetic motion toy, billiard balls, and some other things. Overall, I'd say this is probably my best looking machine yet. (I also got some great pictures of this machine)
As far as how the process of producing this video went, this machine was interesting, as half the tricks were surprisingly easy to build, whereas the other half gave me a stream of problems to resolve for them to work. The hammer sequence was especially difficult for me to build due to the immense weight of the head of the hammer and the instability of the table. I spent probably five or six full nights working on this trick and going through several different designs until I came to a mechanism that looked good while also not destroying itself every time it triggered. Testing was about what I expected, as it failed 74 times before working to my satisfaction.
In case you're curious, cleaning broken eggs in a machine is about as fun as it sounds.
Overall, I am very proud of how this machine turned out. After spending a couple months working on a machine that had virtually no tricks, I was eager to revive my original style for this machine. I like every trick that I built in this machine, which is actually rare for me as I am generally very self-critical of my work. I put my perfectionism into full gear for this video, and I'd say it paid off.
Thanks for watching! Be sure to share the video if you enjoyed it!
Since the theme of the machine is eggs, let's make this the most liked machine on YouTube, lol.

This machine was originally going to be an attempt at the Guinness World Record for the largest chain reaction machine, but at around the time I was completing this table, I decided it would be best to stop because I did not have the time, space, or materials to execute a 500-step machine. Additionally, I did not necessarily enjoy creating this project due to the strict supply restrictions that inhibited the overall quality of the machine. I also determined that I would rather spend my last year before going off to college working on smaller, fun projects that I enjoyed building than a large one that I did not. I am not entirely rejecting the idea of me going for the world record one day (although it is unlikely), but I did not like where this attempt was going and decided that if I do end up building a 500-step machine, it will be a Sirgabealot machine with unique tricks rather than a more generic chain reaction that strives for only step count and nothing else.
Nonetheless, I do not perceive this project as a failure and am happy with how it turned out overall. I think this project still presents a lot of unique aspects to machines that I wouldn't have tried anywhere else and succeeds at being more of a traditional chain reaction. My next project will likely be a themed screenlink that I have been wanting to do for a while and will hopefully be uploaded by the end of 2019.

Favorite Trick: Drinking Bird Dispenser
Most Frustrating Trick: Turning Green Track

Testing this project was actually a lot harder than I originally anticipated, as there were nine takes that made it to the part I considered the end and failed. There was even a take that made it to the end but failed because I forgot to reset the Rubix Cube (the take had some minor impurities so I likely wouldn't have used it anyway).

I had a fantastic time at Domino World 2019 and was very thankful to be part of the team. I am also proud to say that this machine worked during the final falldown! If anyone was curious, I also built the Trix Trax run in the domino section as well as the fidget spinner trick on TheRGMGuy01's table.
Thank you to Brady (bpdoles) for creating the event and inviting me to it, Conrad (Twig) for designing the launcher trick at the end of the section, to Derek (Daks) for taking the picture used during the end cards, to Lyle (jackofallspades98) for filming the closeup and for letting me borrow some of his materials, and to everyone for being awesome to hang out with.

During our fall breaks, BWRGM, two talented chain reaction artists, and I got together at my house to build this machine. They built the structures for the falling track trick, the auto tilt and the flipping track along with some other miscellaneous mechanisms used in the machine and I built the rest. I hope you enjoy the machine!
The reason I have not uploaded for a while is not only because of an overbearing workload from school but also because I have been working on a massive project since July. I am hoping it will be released before this summer

It was really awesome that I was able to participate in my first live event this summer. I had a blast hanging out with everyone and building this machine all day and I'm really impressed with what we were able to create in such a short time span. I'm really happy with how my machine turned out and it reflects my style really well. Despite how the machine unfortunately failed during the final falldown, the machine was actually very consistent and worked a total of 6 times.
I hope you enjoyed the video. Junior year has just started and seems it will be hectic in terms of homework so I cannot predict when my next machine video will be uploaded.
I want to give a special thanks to Brady/bpdoles for hosting and inviting me to this event (and for letting me steal some of his stuff, lol). It was the highlight to an otherwise uneventful summer and one of the best weeks of my life. I hope that there will be more events like this I can attend in the future!

This machine took five months to design, build, test and clean. When I say five months, I don't mean I was caught up with other things and only worked on this for a few hours a month. When I say five months, I mean I put as much work into the machine as possible while dealing with difficult classes, a time consuming marching band and other activities. Overall, I'd say I spent at least 100 hours on this project total, just to produce for seven minutes of footage.
This is easily the largest machine that I have ever built, and also the last machine that I will build of this size for a while. As you may have noticed, 2017 was a quiet year for my channel. That is not because I have lost interest in building, but because I spent 1/3 a year making the Toothpaste Machine, a 1/3 a year making Spicing it Up #2, and the final third making this with a few small projects here and there. While these larger projects are more impressive, they take a very long time to build and create, and it keeps me from uploading as much as I would like to. Another problem is that with a machine built of this size is the limitation on materials. When I built this machine, I used up almost all of my materials and had to be very conservative with what I built in order to fill all of the tables. I actually purchased $60 of Knex on eBay for this project, and still ran out of Knex to the point where I actually had to ask my friends if I could borrow any spare Knex that they had lying around. Another material that I used a lot of was tape. Last year when I built the Toothpaste Machine, I remember being like "Woah! I used five whole rolls of tape to make this!"
In this machine, I used twelve. And I used an entire package of tape just fixing things to prevent fails. That's a LOT of tape, seeing how the average project only takes one or two.
On top of this, the massive machine failed 460 times and took two months to get it to work once. That said, I will be reverting to screenlinks and 1-2 table machines for a while, which will allow me to provide more impressive tricks in the future. This is actually good news, because now that I will be building smaller projects, I can promise you that there will be much more uploads in the future that will be just as, if not more, impressive than this one.
Like the music? I decided to try something new in terms of music in honor of this major machine by using music that I composed myself!

There are twenty-eight green 28's hidden throughout the machine in honor of this being the 28th machine in my chain reaction series which extends over five years. If you are up for the challenge, try to find them all. Almost every trick has at least one 28 hidden near it.

Thank you for your patience, as this video was supposed to come out during Fall of 2016. The reason it took so long to finish was because we were both busy with school and other machine projects, along with my surgery that prevented me from building for about a month. We spent a lot of time selecting the tricks that we would spice up, looking through many chain reaction videos. In the end, we ended up with a set of tricks from a total of 10 different builders and 22 different videos, as noted in the trailer. To view each original version of each trick and to see who built them, click on the link to the video trailer here.
youtu.be/TUw_01LI9lk
The entire process of my part took about 60-70 hours to do, including building, testing, research, filming, editing, documenting, downloading, uploading etc. I put an average of about four hours in each clip, whereas some clips took much longer than that to do (cough cough rolling shoebox stack cough cough). There were about 160 fails in total, with the last two tricks (the swinging C and the shoebox stack) failing the most. My only trick that worked on the first try (excluding the intro and outro) was the cup flip, which was surprising because that trick was actually very risky.
Both of us edited our own sections and cwdreactions edited the final version and added the music, which is why the audio quality actually sounds good in this video.
Shoutouts goes out to the builders whose tricks were spiced up, my new camera and the lighting for improving the video quality on my segments of the video (and to the lights for falling on top of the machines twice, lol) and especially to cwdreactions for putting together a ridiculously amazing chain reaction section for the video and for doing a very very good job with the editing. We plan on holding a podcast in the future where we will get more in depth with the details of the project.

The theme of this machine is EDM songs. The machine is split into four different sections themed on EDM songs (the marble track was not part of any section): The Lights section, represented by the solar powered spinning track and the light bulb trick, the Alan Walker-Force section, represented by the oscillating fan trick, the Rain of Glass section, represented by the bead chain, marble run and binder trick, and the Heavyweight section, represented by many weight tricks. The unique aspect of this machine is that the background music changes as the machine progress through each section.
In this video, the full take of this machine unfortunately has a cut. However, the machine did work in one take but there was an impurity in the Force section, so a cut was used to replace it for continuity reasons. To view the original, working take, view the link here.

No machine as a screen link this time, but there will be in every machine after. This machine worked on the 16th take, but the camera died right before the end, so I had to reset the entire machine and test it nine more times until it worked again. Foreign objects used were a Diablo/yellow yoyo, tissue, slinky, green tube, megaphones, book (my jackofallspades98 contest entry) and finished the machine off with a kinetic motion toy. I apologize that my machines lately have not been as impressive as they could be. I am starting a new, small thing in my retro machines and maybe even in all of my projects where letters are hidden throughout the machine and you must find them. I intended to begin that in this video, where the keyword was "kinetic", but most of the letters were out of sight in the filming process.
I silenced the machine due to background noise (camera cracks, basement machinery, my high pitched voice practicing Spanish while filming)

And remember. We have cones.
One of the largest collaborations of purely machine builders is here! 11 builders each created a clip demonstrating a type of chain reaction trick and it is all screen-linked together into this video. This project actually started back in September and it took a long while to create, and I would say it was well worth it.
The original creators of this were Berlagawesome and I. We contacted each other over e-mail to organize this and made transition clips to put all of this together. I'm glad with the way it worked out. Thank you very much to berlagaweosme as he did 90% of the work, including edit the video and email everyone about the project.
There are many types of chain reaction tricks and some overlap with each other, but I hope you guys are glad with the way we grouped them.

Thank you very much everyone who participated.
This machine was a tribute to my favorite series from his channel: How Will Nathaniel Rage?
Please share this video with him, as I would like more people to take an interest in chain reaction machines. Thank you to SticktrickDominoDude for voicing the video and jackofallspades98 for making the final decision on one of the many songs used in this video. Music used: Big Blue and Course Intro from Mariokart. Explode by Verm. Operation Evolution by Dimitri. I do not own these songs.
Updates on my projects: the micajo domino collaboration screen link will come out in 2016. All of my clips are done, but I am still awaiting twelve of his. My next video will probably have be my Mutli Use Christmas collaboration with TheRgmGuy01. I have finshed two out of six clips. This will be uploaded on his channel on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. If you are participating in the community collaboration project held by berlagawesome and I (not a contest) and have not finished your clip yet, it is due in about a month. Please comment, like, subscribe, and share! Enjoy the long awaited Machine #24 that has a lot of cool tricks my camera angle failed to catch.
I have a new playlist called Music for the Domino Community. If you are looking for good domino/chain reaction music, check it out. It has eleven songs I found pretty sweet, and I will be sure to add more in the future. :)
TheInvention11 doesn't like spicy food.
