The scene, among others, presents Diania cactiformis (lobopodian), Vetulicola rectangulata (deuterostome), Chuandianella ovata (crustacean), Yunnanocephalus yunnanensis (trilobite), Heliomedusa orienta (brachiopod), Allonnia erjiensis (coeloscleritophoran) and Leptomitus teretiusculus (demosponge).

This short movie shows one of the first outputs of our Mightyfossils project -- reconstruction of shallow sea environment in Late Ordovician of central Europe.
The age of this assemblage is currently estimated to range around 455 million years ago. At that time, the area of Central and Western Bohemia was situated in the cold to temperate belts in the southern hemisphere. Diverse arthropods (e.g. trilobites) and rare representatives of other invertebrate groups, like the mysterious conulariids, echinoderms, brachiopods, etc. inhabited the relatively shallow and quite cold sea, especially numerous elevations covered by sands. Strange arthropods like the marrelomorph Furca bohemica and large predatory cephalopods swam within the water column.
This part of our project is currently near to its completion -- we plan to add several more species of invertebrate animals, to refine their life activities and skills in original environment and to supplement some of their mutual interactions.
