Molti movimenti e salti erano nuovi per me così come alcuni spot. Ho voluto fare questo esperimento per poter capire meglio a che punto del mio percorso sono arrivato e su cosa focalizzare maggiormente la mia attenzione d'ora in avanti. Ringrazio i miei numerosi cameraman degli ultimi mesi! Keep training!

Choose Parkourfilippo sango (Sangopk)2018-11-11 | This is a project that started from the wish of combining nice movements of pure and solid parkour with simple words that can represent them. These words are also, in my opinion, a good way to better understand some aspects of this practice.
Words: To move is a choice. Only you can choose how to move. Only you can choose how far to go. You are responsible for yourself. You need to constantly reflect about yourself and your motivations. Be demanding about your practice. Choose Parkour.

But honestly, I'm adult enough to know I do this for myself.a strati..filippo sango (Sangopk)2016-04-19 | My training today started with a question: how can I go to the other side without touching the ground? So I started exploring different ways to do it, but it wasn't very challenging, so I did it without my hands. Precision jump? Yes, quite simple...something less dynamic? Super difficult! It took me 2 hours to get it in both ways, you know.... symmetry, BUT...to do it on both ways I had to use two different technics. And when I finally did it I realized that it was a lie. The raised leg was always the same, and the one that had to keep balance also was. So it took me some more time to do both ways with at least one of the two technics I found. In a first moment I though I had an imbalance with hip mobility, but I understood quite soon that the real issue was my balance. I think it's a bit because of my meniscus injury on the right leg, now the perception I have of my center of mass is more on my left foot. So I realized today it will be hard and it'll take long to set again my posture, and that I'll need to be focused in every moment of my days, when standing, sitting, walking... I found another thing today. Rail quadrupedal movement with open hands is a great tool for killing shoulders and to work on stability. Forearm loose completly his function of stabilizing and all the work goes up to the shoulders. A new toy I think I'll play with in the future.702 MUPfilippo sango (Sangopk)2016-01-07 | One month ago I felt the need of facing some challenges. It was a long time after the last one, and my meniscus took away the possibility of trying the biggest one of that year, ADAPT 2. It was an hard week. I did 1000 lunges on Tuesday without stopping, 50 minutes of mental torture, and tried on Saturday the PkGen challenge of 1000 Muscle Up. I was a bit scared of it because I had some elbows pain during the year and I probably didn't do more than 100 MU in the whole year. The challenge started phisically at 6a.m.but my mind started his workout hours before. It was dark and cold and I was alone, first days of December, a light warmup and I was ready with the first 2. I decided from the beginning to ignore the strict techinc and to go on as much as I could. I made a line on my notebook every 10 MU and wrote the time every 100. I went very fast at the beginning and honestly I didn't think I could do so well. No, I'll tell you now, I couldn't hit the 1000, not even close; but I'll try to give you an idea of what happened during that time. The first 200 have flown but I started already to feel my elbows and wrists. I wanted to complete the challenge but I didn't want to get an injury from it, my meniscus was enough. It wasn't too bad until the 500, and I was already happy with that goal. I started to think that maybe 1000 were too much, but I still wanted to try it. My wrists were bad, they gave me terrible pain if I didn't keep a good position with my hands. Elbows were painful as well but I felt like they couldn't deteriorate too much. I was doing sets of 1 MU and taking 5-10 minutes of total rest every 100. From 500 to 600 was very bad, but from 600 to 700 was an agony. I was alone, I knew I could stop at any time, but I didn't want to stop now. Every single MU was done against my will, it was like hugging a fate that was bringing me towards self-destruction. It was like dreaming, or like being captured in a never ending loop without knowing how to escape. The answer to this question for me was only one, pain. When I hit the 700 MU my tendons and muscles needed to rest for more than 5 minutes so I decided to sit down for 20 minutes and ate some dry fruit. My hands calluses were completely open even with the tape on and were bleeding. During that time of resting I met Laurent that was going to train very close and told me about the old times when he and the other Yamakasi did many af those challenges. He also told me not to be a martyr and to stay safe. When he went away I was able to do just 2 more MU. My muscles and tendons were better, but my hands could feel all the pain they couldn't feel while working. They were cold now and the wounds were too painful. So I decided that it was enough. Satisfied and unsatisfied of course, I went to do some balance training with Laurent and Diana. The elbows were almost perfect in one week, the wrists in 10 days, my ribs in two weeks and my left hand little finger still hurts. It was a good challenge for many reasons, the first one is for sure that I couldn't complete it. It took me 4 hours 53 minutes and 28 seconds. I'm not sure if I'll try it again one day.
