D106.5 Durability Test: Rubicon - Granite bowl Daniel Kim 2022-10-13 | Like most significant testing failures. I was super lucky it broke when it did (why? Idk). It could have been significantly worse like on the highway which would have been catastrophic. It was an existential night, alone, with no way to contact help until someone came down to the staging area or trail head. I created an “X” brace with the winch and tow strap to center/compress the axle under the body to be towed out. I was lucky to befriend Steve, get in contact with Don, get towed out, with Timm (having time) and Greg being around at Forbyn Bros, to patch me up and get on the road regardless of the cooling issue. I am forever grateful and 🙇🏻♂️ to some of the core Peeps of NCLR.
