General Install/Uninstall Tutorial of the Black Ops Zombie Mods

A bit of a weird approach using void weapons in a mostly non-void strike, but it worked thanks to stasis being great for bursting through elemental shields when not using Falling Guillotine. The choice for void weapons was to be able to make use of Nezerac's Sin as much as possible in conjunction with Resonance Siphon which is stupidly good when it comes to dealing with Overload Champions. If it weren't for that damn skiff, this would've been a favorite run of mine as it was flawless the rest of the way.

I don't have a problem with using the weapons swap method of duplicating the orb, so that's why I went for completing the ogre section and Chamber of Suffering by making use of it. This was my third attempt of the evening, and it felt like the most scuffed run with plenty of near death moments that could have been easily avoided.
Sorry if the music selection is strange and too loud. If I'm not in a voice chat, this is how I enjoy playing Destiny 2.

JariK posted this data saving method a few days ago, and it gave me the idea to try implementing it into my current setup for the Engrams mod I had previously released for BO1 into my WIP version for BO3. At a basic level (only testing with weapons that are in common across all maps) the system works quite nicely. The primary drawback to this system is that I can only store 127 weapons with their upgraded counterparts for this to work properly, meaning there won't be much room for custom weapon implementations, but if kept strictly to the BO3 weapon set, then this will be fine. Another drawback is having to remove gobblegums, which based on the feedback I got from releasing Arize, that was not something many people liked... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I still need to finish up more weapon icons, implement duplication checks for weapons that can be obtained in methods not including the box nor wall weapons (e.g. bows, KT-4, etc.), and some other features/further testing before I can consider releasing this just yet, but I at least wanted to share some sort of update since it has been over a month since I initially mentioned that I would be working on the BO3 version of this mod.
This mod implements a new weapon acquisition system, largely inspired by Destiny 2's engram system. Zombies have a chance of dropping engrams of a random rarity, and you can collect the weapons from them in your side inventory to use at any time. If you manage to collect all weapons of a specific rarity, future engram drops will award you ammo for one random weapon from that rarity. Pack-A-Punched weapons stored in your inventory will have a green arrow in the top left corner indicating they are the upgraded version.
Notable Gameplay Changes:
- Due to the implementation of the Ballistic Knife as an exotic (and partly because of a few issues I ran into during development), the Ballistic Knife will automatically come with the upgraded melee weapon of the map (Bowie or Sickle; in the case of Nacht, Verruckt, and Shi No Numa, they are the Bowie version), and the upgraded version will allow players revived by it to retain their perks as well as their Mule Kick weapon that they would've lost prior to going down (if they had Mule Kick).
- Max Ammo drops have also been changed to fit with the features of the mod by now refilling the ammo in the clip and reserve on all weapons the player has currently equipped (NOT the inventory weapons), and downed players will also receive the ammo reward.
- Due to the removal of the box, fire sale has also been disabled/removed in all possible ways. As a result, the thief in the FIVE will only drop a max ammo if killed prior to escaping but after stealing a weapon, and hacking a max ammo in Moon will instead give a free perk drop.

Playthrough of the time trial challenges in Arize, my new mod for Origins. This took me 12 attempts to finally complete, and I was surprised with how I had an extra three minutes remaining at the end. I'm interested to see how much faster others can complete the round 20 challenge compared to my time of 26:58 :)

Here's my expansion mod for Origins that brings in new craftable weapons inspired by the Dead Rising series and a few challenges for players to take on. Parts for the weapons can be found scattered across the map and then put together in the Crazy Place. A very generic side quest is included which involves shooting stuff and collecting zombie souls. Last but not least, four time trials are available with some useful rewards.

Overall I'm quite happy with how this came out. Finally got a capture card a few days ago, so I decided that I wanted to go for my first OMBFC on one of my favorite songs to play. Vocals was first try though I had to re-FC since my first recording didn't have audio. Bass took almost an hour because I kept messing up the HOPO's later on in the song, while guitar only took two tries. As for pro drums, I had FC'ed the song before but didn't have the capture card then. It took over an hour of playing with different audio setups and sensitivities on the Midi Pro Adapter until I decided to try playing without listening to the song and got it within a few tries.

This game has become one of my favorites to play on the Vive. The fast paced motion and fluidity of moving back and forth to dodge the projectiles is quite engaging. I would highly recommend anyone with a VR kit to pick this game up.
I'll probably upload more gameplay on the Vive of this or other games soon, maybe with some footage of me in a corner as well so you can see how it looks from another person's perspective.

Inspired by the master piece made in Borderlands 2, here is the Bane 2.0 in Perish. Voice that plays is mine, and Hitman changed up the pitch and setup the gun itself.
No, these won't be released. No, I'm not giving you the mod. No, I'm not giving you the assets. These still have various issues that I don't want to really bother fixing, the fact that there isn't a slide empty ability actually irritates me among other things, and I only did this to experiment with what I could do after being away from the tools for awhile. The animations were made from scratch and took a bit of time to get working right (oh, and yeah, really stupid sprint animations. *insert shrug emoji*). This will probably be the last time I touch Model 1887's for a good while, but it was fun while it lasted. As for anything else in BO3, I have no clue if I'll even work on anything else. Modding just isn't as interesting as it used to be.

Here's me solving the Rubik's Cube in a new map put out by ConvictioNDR and MakeCents! The cube itself functions really well and was a lot of fun to work with. I had to use one of my actual cubes to remember how to do some steps of the solving process later on which is why I stop at some points.
From the start I had to adjust my solving method, since usually I work with white on bottom and yellow on top, but in the map, it is oriented with orange on bottom and red on top. I tried solving it sideways but it didn't work out, so in the end I went with just bottom to top as per usual. There were some points where I mis-rotated some faces since as a result of still experimenting with how the cube moves but luckily it didn't stop me from finishing the solve. My usual solving time is around or less than a minute using a speed cube, but that is to be expected when working with a digital version of the cube instead of an actual one.
Overall, it's a great challenge that was put together really well.

Here's an awesome AI survival mod made by Xylozi that is available on Black Ops 3 Multiplayer. The mod pits players against the various robotic AI's featured in BO3's Multiplayer through multiple waves. The players have the ability to buy upgrades, barricades, weapons, and more through the Salvage system, similar to points in zombies. This is definitely among the most entertaining mods I've played so far from the workshop.

It's been a little over three years since I first brought these into existence back on Black Ops 1 Multiplayer (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GwD0EmNJhfI), but here they are now in Black Ops 3 zombies. FX are missing because we currently do not have them in the mod tools; I may look into getting custom ones done if they are not provided later on.
Doing this was more of a personal thing because this was among the first mods I did on Black Ops 1, and from there started the journey to where I am now. I've met a lot of amazing people and friends along the way and learned so much in regards to the games I love playing. I just want to give you all a huge thank you, for the amazing support and the motivation to keep going.

Haven't uploaded a custom zombies map in such a long time, but I wanted to bring some attention to this gem of a map that was just released last night. This was a blind first run at the map, having only seen some of the pictures/features, so I'm not surprised I let myself go down so early. This map is absolutely amazing in terms of the rich amount of detail the map maker sethnorris put into it, and was a fairly long-awaited map by many due to how great it looked from the WIP post. I hadn't fully read the description of the features in the map when I downloaded this, so the Hitler boss was sort of a surprise and unfortunately the reason for my demise :(
Definitely going to have another go at it later and would highly recommend you guys try it out :)

This was definitely a pain to get working considering that:
a) viewmodel by default has 142 bones (so not going in WaW without massive reduction in quality)
b) too many faces included in one material... So it took some time to split without ruining the binds
c) ten tentacles, four eyes, and four bones to animate.
Animations took about five hours to complete non-stop but was worth it. Despite not being the absolute best quality, I'm quite happy with the result.
As towards whether or not I'll be releasing, I'm just more concerned with certain people I know of within the community that may end up ripping the assets from here without attempting to do it on their own, so the mod will most likely be kept as of now between myself and friends that I trust.
