Meanwhile, dozens of vehicles continue to get stuck all across the city due to untouched side streets leading to major delays and nearly impossible travel conditions as dozens of people walk to where they need to go.
HISTORIC BOMB CYCLONE Cripples Long Island, New York Storm Chaser Aaron Rigsby 2026-02-24 | An absolute unit of a Nor'easter hammered areas from New Jersey to Maine and smashed multiple records dropping widespread 20-30 inches of snowfall across a huge portion of New England. Numbers not scene since the 1978. Blizzard conditions across Long Island absolutely crippled surrounding cities as dozens upon dozens of motorists including Firefighters and EMS became stuck in the deep snow despite a travel ban being issued. Just 4 days prior, I broke my back in a bad snowboarding accident and joined my best friend and chase partner @MaxOlsonWX to document this historic event because weather does not wait for injuries. MASSIVE Winter Storm CRIPPLES Ohio - Biggest Snow Since 1978! Storm Chaser Aaron Rigsby 2026-01-26 | From Oklahoma to New England, a massive Winter Storm carrying Tornadoes, ice, sleet, rain, and Historic Snowfall totals it had it all. One of the hardest hit areas by snow was the buckeye state of Ohio where Dayton, Ohio broke its 24 hour snowfall record set in 1978 with 12.4 inches of snowfall. Meanwhile, in the capital city of Columbus. The snow prompted the first ever Level 3 Snow Emergency for Franklin County including Columbus which meant nobody on the roadways except essential workers and emergency services as wreck after wreck after stuck vehicle after stuck vehicle hampered efforts to keep up with the rapidly falling snow.
Juneau, Alaska BURIED Under 6ft of HISTORIC SNOW! Boats Sinking 2026 Storm Chaser Aaron Rigsby 2026-01-07 | The capitol city of Alaska has been getting absolutely smoked by record setting snowfall since New Years eve. While the final frontier is no stranger to snow, the rate in which this snowfall fell was truly unprecedented. 80+ inches has already fallen with another 1ft of additional accumulated on January 5th and additional 30 inches could come across the next week and a half as the weight of snow sinks boats in the Juneau Harbor and volunteers and crews are brought in from around the state to help with relief efforts and to help prevent more boats from sinking and causing even more oil issues into the ocean that has already been occurring.
BOMB CYCLONE BLIZZARD PARALYZES MARQUETTE, MICHIGAN 12-29-25 Storm Chaser Aaron Rigsby 2025-12-29 | An incredibly intense cyclone bombed out over the Midwest today and the results speak for itself! This cyclones pressure was equal to that of a Category 1/2 Hurricane and brought absolutely crippling blizzard conditions to the UP of Michigan and surrounding areas with dozens of vehicles and snow plows stranded all over the city as hundreds of trees were toppled over by the intense winds and power was knocked out to over 100,000 in Michigan alone.

An abnormally early heavy hitter Lake Effect Snow event hammered areas from Chicago to South Bend, Indiana and brought total chaos on the major interstates. Not even cop cars were a match from the intense snowfall rates! But the craziest part? The fall foliage was so late this year that it provided a rare opportunity for peak foliage with nearly a foot of snow as the two seasons clashed over the Midwest!
SUPER TYPHOON RAGASA - Trapped in Paradise Storm Chaser Aaron Rigsby 2025-11-07 | On September 17th, one of my best friends @JordanHallWX and I traveled over seas to chase Super Typhoon Ragasa. An absolutely massive Category 5 storm with winds over 180mph. What we did not expect, was to discover an unexpected paradise on a tiny little island North of the Philippines mainland known as the Batan Island. I truly can not express the amount of love we were shown on this island. We went from chasing a storm, to living in paradise surrounded by so many incredibly nice human beings. It was almost like getting a taste of world peace. As word got around the island that there were storm chasers here, we'd be roaming the streets on our scooters and I think every other person would go "hi Jordan!! Hi Aaron!!". I've been to a lot of places in my 32 years of this Earth but never have I gone into a trip, never hearing of a location, and coming back a changed man for the better. We thought the first tornado of the day was crazy. But, it was nothing to what was about to unfold an hour later near Gary, South Dakota. Sadly, this tornado turned tragic as it obliterated a home with residents still inside. Sending us into Search and Rescue as the tornado got dangerously close to the local rodeo before roping out. To this day, this is one of the most violent and crazy tornadoes I have ever documented.
MASSIVE MONTANA EXPLOSION CAPTURED BY DRONE!! - Sidney, Montana 6/25/25 Storm Chaser Aaron Rigsby 2025-06-26 | On the evening of June 25th I was passing through Sidney, Montana on my way to Canada to chase storms. To my surprise, a massive fire was underway with no fire crews on scene yet. After calling it in, I launched my drone for a better view while I waited on emergency crews to arrive. I held back, while zoomed in on the drone when all of a sudden a massive explosion from a propane or oil tank ignited a chain reaction of explosions sending a shock wave towards town and my vehicle and sent the tank hundreds of feet into the air before crashing back down to earth. The fire burned well into the night and with emergency crews on scene there was nothing to do but to let it burn itself out and keep the spot fires under control.

This after the same tornado tossed a train car nearly a football field from its original position and violently tore a whole row of train cars off from the tracks and ripped them around the field like it was nothing.

Just 3 days after Christmas and i intercepted a monster tornado in Southwest, MS! This was a huge forecasting win as there was a huge risk area to choose from with multiple pros and cons to both and most of the day I sat in MS sweating about storms in LA before mine finally took off.I intercept at close range as it was a wide, multi vortex tornado before it fully planted and pulled away from me that I captured on the drone. TEXAS TWISTERS - Three Straight Days of Tornadoes! - 5/2-/5/4/2024 Storm Chaser Aaron Rigsby 2024-07-29 | After the historic outbreak of April 26th, 2024 it was like a fire hose was turned on and someone forgot to turn it off. Except instead of water it was tornadoes as they just wouldn't stop coming. From May 2nd to May 4th we documented 6+ tornadoes including the Hawley, Texas destructive EF3 tornado and multiple other tornadoes from Silver to Fort Stockton Texas and Texas sized hail crushing all of our windshields.
