After months of hype it totally doesn't live up to it but it's finally here. After I made the decision to leave YouTube last December, I knew that the only way I could go out would be with one final One Tree Hill cast video. It's the fandom that got me into vidding and the fandom I've been most loyal to over the years. I often wondered what I would vid when One Tree Hill went off the air and I guess now I'll never know. It seems fitting that my final One Tree Hill video is being posted two weeks before the final episode of One Tree Hill airs. I don't even think I can describe what this show means to me. My favourite show of all time. I love the characters so deeply and think of them as real people at times. You'll notice this video is full of Season 9 and that's because this season has been without a doubt my favourite. One Tree Hill is really going out with a bang and I couldn't be more thrilled. Glee Cast | Somehow well keep moving on BrookeDavisFan19 2012-03-11 | I know I promised on Twitter that this would be posted yesterday but it took me about 4 tries to upload it so I hope you don't mind it's late. This is actually really late, I pretty much finished it two weeks ago and was going to post it then but wanted to re-edit a few things. I'm actually pretty proud of how this came out considering it's my second to last video. Glee is my current obsession so I decided that if I was going to leave You Tube, I'd stop playing it safe and start vidding it. I absolutely love it. It's one of the few shows that can be completely over the top yet incredibly heartfelt and genuine at the same time. I absolutely adore the cast and have been blown away by how amazing this season has been. The wait until April 10th just might kill me. Brooke Davis | Cause Im awesome BrookeDavisFan19 2012-01-28 | I had to make one last Brooke Davis video before I retire my Sony Vegas for good. This one isn't nearly as epic as my last one but I really just wanted to make a video to show how fun she is. Brooke Davis | Youll never know, just what youre worth BrookeDavisFan19 2011-12-30 | My last vid of 2011! This is my 100th upload on this account so I thought it should be something special. I started this video a year ago but I haven't really been motivated to finish it until recently. This is probably the longest video I've ever made and I didn't cut the song which is kind of a big deal for me. Words can't really describe how much I love Brooke Penelope Davis. She's the most incredible character I've ever seen on television and the character I've felt the most connected to. I relate to her in a lot of ways and in a messed up way, I feel like she's someone I look up to even though she's not a real person. This video also comes with a major announcement. 2012 is going to be a really important year for me. I'm graduating from college in June (hopefully) and entering the next chapter in my life. I have to focus on starting my career and establishing myself as an adult which means I wont have much time to focus on other things. Because of this, I've decided to retire from vidding. Liam & Annie | Youre gonna melt for me BrookeDavisFan19 2011-11-19 | I told you guys I'd finish a preview! I started this video in January, shortly after I saw the movie, Country Strong. I fell in love with Leighton and Garrett's duet and I had to vid it with a couple I love. I instantly thought of Liam/Annie given their storyline at the time but I ended up getting tired of making it and I stopped working on it for a long time. About a month ago, I decided to come back to it but the editing on the original project was so bad I had to scrap the whole thing and just re-make it from scratch. I've been juggling school and work and collab obligations so I didn't have a lot of time to finish this but it's finally done! Liam and Annie are my OTP from 90210. I originally like her more with Ethan but I started to ship her more with Liam in season 2. Then season 3 happened and I was completely converted. Matt and Shenae have crazy chemistry together and I really do hope they end up together. Brooke & Lucas | Sometimes it hurts instead [15DC] BrookeDavisFan19 2011-08-19 | DAY 15: YOUR FAVOURITE COUPLE TA DA!!!! It's finally done! I am finally done the 15 Day (aka month and a half) challenge! It's kind of appropriate that I'm posting this now because I started this challenge on the first week of my new job as a way of keping myself vidding throughout the summer and I here I am, posting the last video in this challenge on my last day of work. For the last video in my crazy challenge, I wanted it to be huge and what could be bigger than my ultimate OTP, Brooke and Lucas? This video was crazy fun to make because I was vidding my favourite couple with my favourite song by my favourite artist. Pure love here! Brooke and Lucas will forever be my favourite television couple. Their chemistry is off-the-charts, their relationship is epic and no matter what I do, I can't stop loving them. I'm happy Brooke ended up with Julian because Lucas never completely understood how lucky he was to have her but the time they had together will always have a special place in my heart. This challenge was honestly one of the most awesome vidding experiences I've had. I love that it tested me as a vidder and made me experiment with different editing styles and fandoms. One month ago I had never made an episode-centric video and now I've made two; I had never made a cast-picture vid and now I've made one; I had never made a quotes video and now I've made one. I introduced at least two new fandoms through this and was motivated to make a ton of videos I had planned months ago. Here are my top moments from the challenge: 1. Proudest Accomplishment: Multi-Hate || Tik Tok -- By far the most frustrating experience of the challenge and I'm proud of myself for pushing through. 2. Marissa Cooper | Martial law [15DC] BrookeDavisFan19 2011-08-13 | DAY 14: THE SADDEST CHARACTER DEATH We're in the home stretch and I'm posting the worst video ever made. Awesome. To be honest, this was finished on Monday but I hate it so much that I couldn't bring myself to upload it. But I'm too busy/lazy to re-do it so here it is. Enjoy the crap. YAY for new fandoms though! One Tree Hill Cast | This could really be a good life [15DC] BrookeDavisFan19 2011-08-06 | DAY 13: YOUR FAVOURITE TV CAST I've said it before but one of my favourite parts of this challenge is challenging myself with new types of videos I've never attempted before. I've never made a cast video like this before. I never thought I would. I honestly HATE working with pictures (you can see I didn't do anything different or creative with them) and I hope to never have to work with them again. The process of collecting thme is so tedious and editing them really sucks. When I first got to this task, 3 casts all popped into my head at once. One Tree Hill, Glee and Friends. Honestly, I just completely adore all 3 of those casts and would love to have made 3 videos but when I got down to it, I had to go with the show that I love more than any other. Besides, that cast has Sophia Bush and that pretty much beats anything no matter how talented that damn Lea Michele is. This isn't exactly how I thought this video would turn out but I don't hate it. I realize the pictures are pretty much domianted with Sophia/Hilarie ones but that's only because there's more pictures of them than any other cast member on the planet. Greys Anatomy 6.24 | Nothing goes as planned [15DC] BrookeDavisFan19 2011-08-04 | DAY 12: A SEASON FINALE YOU LOVE Yet another fandom I hardly vid. Woot! Woot! When the task of season finales came up, Grey's Anatomy immediately came to mind. That show is the KING of season finale shockers. Izzie quits, George dies, Derek gets shot...if the season is coming to a close, something is going down. Obviously from that train of thought, it didn't take long for me to settle on this episode. It's incredible. It's the perfect blend of suspense and emotion. From Percy dying, to Meredith's miscarriage, to Alex calling out for Izzie, THE ELEVATOR SCENE...so many moments broke my heart and that's why I had to vid this episode. Especially with this song, which played during my favourite scene of the finale. This was honestly the most draining video I've ever made. I cried several times during the process and the video as a whole just really brought me down. Not neccessarily in a bad way, it just really touched me emotionally. 90210 Cast | Goin down on fire [15DC] BrookeDavisFan19 2011-07-30 | DAY 11: YOUR GUILTY PLEASURE I'm starting to think my Vegas hates Naomi as much as I do because every time I make a video with her it totally bitches out on me. This was suppose to be uploaded yesterday but because of some "quick tweaks" that ended up taking 3 hours...well, it's not. 90210 Isn't really my guiltiest pleasure (Pretty Little Liars anyone?) but it's certainly a very vidable (yes, I'm just making up my own vidders dictionary as I go along) show. It's shockingly inconsistant. Season one was all over the place, season two was utter dog excrement and season three was probably the best yet but after reading spoilers for season four, I'm gonna pass. As you can probably tell by this video, Annie is my favourite. I thought she was going to be going into the series because I adored Shenae on Degrassi but I completely fell for Silver and later...Adrianna. To be honest, Annie kind of annoyed me. I still liked her because of Shenae but she wasn't my favourite. Season Two that all changed, the writers completely ruined Silver's character (to an even greater extent in season three) and Adrianna became this over-dramatic [and later, psychotic] dolt. Damon Salvatore | I dont care anymore [15DC] BrookeDavisFan19 2011-07-28 | DAY 10: YOUR FAVOURITE MALE CHARACTER AHHHH! WHY IS IT SOOO DARK????!!!!! I swear to god it didn't look like this on Sony Vegas. You Tube screws me over once again. Sucks. Anyways, if you can get passed the crappy colouring, I actually kind of like this video. It pretty much describes why I love Damon Salvatore. Can anyone pull off smug, egotistical jerk quite like him? I love Damon pretty much because he's a total bad ass who doesn't really care about anyone but himself. I'm a big fan of anti-heros and Damon is by-far my favourite one. Of course, looking at this description, it doesn't sound quite like the Damon of the present does it? The character I love is season one Damon. The killer vampire who didn't care who he hurt as long as he got what he wanted. He was pretty much neutered this year for the sake of his "love story" with Elena. I don't hate Delena because I'm a huge fan of her and Stefan (I actually rooted for them last year) I hate Delena because of what it did to his character. One Tree Hill 3.16 | We were made to never fall away [15DC] BrookeDavisFan19 2011-07-23 | DAY 09: YOUR FAVOURITE EPISODE Well, it's a few days late but I hope it's worth the wait. This is probably the challenge that scared me the most because this is my favourite hour of television of all-time. I wanted this to be EPIC and while I'm not sure it is, it's certainly not the biggest piece of crap I've uploaded this month. I wanted to take my time with this one so I gave myself an extra few days to finish. This is one of the most difficult episodes to vid ever. I've started several projects over the years focusing on this episode and I've trashed each one because I've never been able to properly showcase how incredible this episode is. 80% of the episode is just talking and the locations are pretty much the same throughout the hour so all of the scenes kind of blend together. Words cannot describe how much I love this episode. It's obviously where One Tree Hill peaked and simply is the most captivating episode of any television series I've ever watched. The writing is impeccable, the performances are outstanding (particularly Colin Fickes who plays Jimmy Edwards) and the pacing is phenomenal. I love that the writers added a real emotion element to this instead of just making it a convential "6 students fight for their lives as the evil shooter tries to kill them." There is a great depth explored in Jimmy, showing what led him to this decision to bring a gun to school and ultimately making the viewers feel sympathy for him. I actually identified with him on many levels, which is probably why this is the first show to make me cry. The "It hurts!" scene gets me EVERY time! Honestly, Melrose isn't my one "show that should have never been cancelled." I enjoyed it and Katie Cassidy just blew my mind in it but honestly, the show was kind of a mess. There are many shows I would ressurrect before this soap (like Privileged or Veronica Mars) but I had the idea for this crappy song with this show and decided to just go for it. In case you can't tell (ha ha) I lost all inspiration by the end of it. I honestly just wanted it done and this is the crap that's left. Almost as messy as the show itself. Caroline Forbes | You suck [15DC] BrookeDavisFan19 2011-07-17 | DAY 07: THE BEST SCENE EVER This is such a cheat (and I know I use that word a lot in relation to this challenge) because I wasn't even going to do this task because I thought it would be too easy but I got lazy and replaced a task that would have required more effort. I made this in a day so don't judge too harshly. I kind of envisioned just posting a scene to my channel for this task but then I remembered that it's a VIDDING challenge so I quit whining and actually vidded it. TA DA! This is honestly my favourite Caroline scene ever and probably my favourite scene from The Vampire Diaries period. It really shows her growth and how far she's come. I love that she took charge and got a little bit of vengence on Damon after how terribly he treated her in Season 1. He really had this coming and honestly he deserved worse (and I'm a Damon fan) he abused her worse than many girls are abused, he raped her and litterally used her for lunch. Brooke Davis | Pretty as a picture [15DC] BrookeDavisFan19 2011-07-17 | DAY 06: YOUR FAVOURITE FEMALE CHARACTER This is probably my favourite task of the entire challenge because it lets me vid my absolute favourite TV character in the world, the enchanting Brooke Davis. I adore her, what more can I say? She's fun and feisty and makes for excellent television but she's also a fully developed person. She can be a bitch, but she has an incredible heart; she can let loose, but she's driven; she's selfish, but she's an amazing friend; she's arrogant, but vulnerable; the girl is made up of contridictions and that's what makes her so damn entertaining. As well written as she is, it's Sophia's portrayal of her that's really inspiring. She's the perfect example of how to act out a character like that. She plays Brooke with such heart and vulnerablity that you don't hate her when she's acting out or being a bitch because you know it's rooted in something deeper. Tim & Lyla | We were always meant to say goodbye [15DC] BrookeDavisFan19 2011-07-15 | DAY 05: A SHOW MORE PEOPLE SHOULD WATCH Note: This isn't late. It would have been up yesterday if it didn't fail SIX times! This is the 5th video in my 15-project tour de force and I'm already so behind but to be honest, I don't really care. I took onn this challenge to keep myself vidding during work so I'm not so strict on the deadline. The theme for this video is "a show that more people should watch" so it's kind of a cheat to vid a couple (the theme wasn't specific but a cast vid was implied) but Tim & Lyla were my favourite part of Friday Night Lights. Their chemistry is ridiculous and their build-up was epic. It's unforunate that they didn't end up together but the writer's wanted to be true to the characters and I can't argue with that. Friday Night Lights is THE best sports drama on television and one of the finest television programs I've ever seen. It's fantastically written, acted and is one of the most realistic shows on TV. If you haven't seen it yet, I highly reccomend it. If not for the stunning Minka Kelly for the fact the show was just nominated for a freaking EMMY! P.S. Multi-Hate | Im gonna hit this city [15DC] BrookeDavisFan19 2011-07-09 | DAY 03: A CHARACTER YOU HATE It's FINALLY done! Third task in and I'm already a day behind. Oh well, I may not be done on-time but I will finish this. I was planning on making a Naomi Clarke video to this song but I thought, "why not make a video about ALL the girls I dislike?" The title of this video is really appropriate because not only do I hate this song and these characters but I hated making this video. It was a PAIN in the ass! Sony Vegas must have really hated the combination of these characters and Ke$ha cause it did everhything it could to get me to give up. But I didn't and honestly, the end result is actually my favourite of the three videos so far. I actually was also going to include Vanessa Abrhams from Gossip Girl in this but not only is she a crap character but she sucks to vid to which makes me hate her more. To be perfectly honest, I don't HATE any of these characters (well...I do Naomi), I just don't like them. A lot. I have absolutely no love for Naomi. Her "full-of-herself/cute" act doesn't endear her to me one bit. In Season 1 she annoyed me but in Season 2, I really really hated her. The way she tortured Annie for no reason and seemed to relish in her pain. It really bothered me and it bothers me even more that during this time Naomi was pimped as the "star of the show." Cause that's who I want as the moral center of a television series. I actually quite like the other actresses in this video but I really don't like Annalynne McCord because she's not a good actress. She doesn't play Naomi with an ounce of compassion and that's why I have a hard time feeling bad for her when things go wrong in her life. Peyton Sawyer is probably the first character I ever truly disliked. She just really got on my nerves because I hate characters that are always feeling sorry for themselves and as a Brooke fan I was never able to forgive her for what she did. My feelings for Serena on the other hand are very weird and mixed. When the show began, she was actually my favourite character and then, some time around Season 2 I just got completely sick of her. Her selfishness, her bed-hopping, her on-going battle with clothes that cover her ass, all the things I loved about her in Season 1 have just kind of evaporated over time and what's left is a spoiled brat. My relationship with Quinn Fabrey is also a bit weird because I love Dianna Agron but I cannot stand Quinn. I typically like the bitchy characters (Team Santana FTW) but I never really bought it coming from Dianna. Quinn just annoyed me, she wasn't a lovable bitch who says what we're all thinking, she was kind of hateful and jealous. I didn't really understand the love she got from fans in Season 1 because she wasn't a deep character at all. She was a pregnant cheerleader who took her problems out on other people. Just because someone's sad, doesn't make them complex. Pray for August to arrive and quality to return to our fair kingdom. I don't hate this video AS much but there are definitely glitches I would fix if I had more time. This might not be a popular fandom amongst my subscribers but it's a show that I've grown to truly adore. I honestly had no interest in this show despite a mild appreciation for both Maggie Q and Lyndsy Fonseca but I decided to give it a shot after the premiere of The Vampire Diaries and it blew me away. You guys deserve an really, really amazing video after such a long hiatus and god knows this isn't it. This was put together in 2 days and it's absolute shit. The reason this was just thrown together was because I have decided to take on the 15 day vidders challenge. It's actually a 30 day challenge but I've modified it because I just cannot post a decent video every day. This way, I can work on posting one every two days. I get that quantity over quality isn't really the right way to go about things but I recently started a new job and I'm nervous that if I take a break from vidding, I wont come back to it so this is more an excersise to keep me focused. What can I say about One Tree Hill? It totally captured my heart. I've been a loyal, dedicated fan for 5 years now and have never loved a show the way I love this one. The characters are amazing, the writing [was] phenomenal, the music takes my breath away and the cast is more talented than any other one I've seen. My dad's birthday was December 7th but my computer was still broken so I wasn't able to finish this. My dad's favourite One Tree Hill character is Dan and he loves Kid Rock so I thought this would be a good fit. I had no idea which song to use for Dan. He's such a badass character and there are so few songs that truly capture it. But after watching thewinchestergospel's amazing Dean Winchester video. I knew I had found the song. The song cut was inspired by her's so she deserves complete credit or that. I love Dan! Soon after she returns, Wakefield does as well and the murders continue and Abby must fight to survive the spree once again. It's a really wonderful series if you can get past the gore. There's great heart in it and lots of surprising twists and turns. Brooke vs Peyton || A Bad Girls Lament BrookeDavisFan19 2010-08-11 | First of all, let me just say I HATE this song and pretty much every other song by Ke$ha for that matter. I just felt like this song fit Brooke/Peyton rivalry and how Peyton repeated ruined her friendship with Brooke. I don't know what to really make of the final product, but I guess I'll bill it as a rivalry video. Warning, it's pretty Anti-Peyton so if you're a fan be warned. I've never liked Brooke and Peyton's friendship. It always seemed very one sided to me. It always seemed like Brooke would give the world to Peyton but Peyton was never that invested unless it benefitted her. The fact that Brooke gave Lucas up for Peyton but Peyton could never do that for her, really bugged me and has a lot to do with my hatred of Peyton. Sam McCall || All This Time BrookeDavisFan19 2010-08-01 | FINALLY! IT'S DONE! This video has been a long time coming. I started putting clips together for this video last November but I got lazy and stopped for a while. Putting together clips for a soap video is so much harder then prime time TV cause you have to find clips for a show that aired pretty much every day for years. About a week ago I stopped vidding other projects and just focused on this one cause I was determined to finish it and I DID! Sam McCall is by far my all-time favourite soap character, period. She is the reason I started watching General Hospital and I'll probably stop watching it when she leaves (hopefully that doesn't happen any time soon). I really wanted to make a video that shows all of her sides cause she's such a complex and amazing character. It's hard to find a song that encompasses Sam's fragile, motherly, bad-ass, sexy, loyal, genuine-ness (didn't I tell you the girl is complex?) but the second I heard this song last year, I knew I had to make a Sam video with it, there has never been a song more Sam then this one. This is my first time seriously vidding soaps (I made a cast video last year about the Carnival Massacre but that was only a few episodes and I threw it together in no time) so I'm sorry that this isn't my best work but I'm actually really proud of it. Vidding soaps is a lot harder then I thought it would be but it was really worth it cause I've finally vidded my 4th favourite television character ever (and my 1st favourite soap character). I always figured Alex would be the first character of the "New Brood" I would vid cause she's by far my favourite but somehow, that Quinn vid just snuck out. I didn't like Alex at all when she originally came on. I had read spoilers and thought I'd really like her but I found her annoying in the first few episodes and then when she was trying to steal Julian from Brooke I got really Anti-Alex.
