FALL [4K] toizek 2024-07-28 | "Fall" is a short story that journeys through Travis Scott's discography through 3D, and IRL shot sequences. A few years ago, I conceived the idea of creating a video showcasing the rise of Travis Scott in the mainstream music scene, from "RODEO" to the iconic album "UTOPIA."I knew I wanted to center the story around the RODEO action figure itself, which I actually own from its 2016 release as part of the album promotion. With its scarcity today and high price tag, I felt compelled to feature it prominently.Throughout the skyward fall, viewers can catch numerous Easter eggs referencing other albums like "Birds in the Trap sing Mcknight" and "ASTROWORLD." My personal favorite is the incorporation of the ground hole, prominently featured in the "SIRENS" music video. This served as the segue into the IRL sequence, where the "RODEO" version of Travis grows and transforms into the new era, transitioning into the Utopia cover scene.I really enjoyed creating this project, and bringing one of my major passion projects to life through this edit is truly a dream come true. I'm thrilled to finally share it with you all. What started back as just an idea in 2016 was finally made possible with the help of Lucas3DOver the course of seven months, my brother Lucas3D and I meticulously put together the first half of the edit and the 3D sequences, involving precise rigging and posing to match the RODEO cover and the falling scenes. After hours in front of the green screen, fitting him with a harness for the falling shots, I moved on to the extensive VFX work, which took months of tweaking to seamlessly blend him into the surreal "void" scene reminiscent of the UTOPIA cover.I hope to release a "making of" video in the future, showcasing all the behind-the-scenes footage I've captured.
