Attention: DO NOT launch the game using Steam or Rockstar Game Launcher after doing the downgrade. Start the game using the .exe on the game folder. Also, I recomend rename the game folder to something like "Grand Theft Auto San Andreas - Modded" to avoid steam/RLG reseting the game files.
Attention 2: To install other mods on top of RoSA, is recommended to lower the priority of this mod folder in ModLoader. For example: 30 for RoSA and 40 for Proper Fixes (if you use it).
1 - Downgrader: mega.nz/file/5hlWyaiD#D_NcekRlHJWoABv_FWzOTvpSTTvHM48K8OyBJZLw4v8
Note 1: You also need to delete both .exe files after downgrading your game.
Note 2: The downgrade is necessary only for Steam or Rockstar Game Launcher versions, if you have the 1.0 US version (from the DVD), then skip the downgrade process.

3 - Open Limit Adjuster: https://www.mixmods.com.br/2022/10/open-limit-adjuster/
Note: Keep in mind that Open Limit Adjuster already comes bundle with the mod "Project 2DFX".
4 - MixSets: https://www.mixmods.com.br/2022/03/sa-mixsets/
Note: MixSets is optional, Open Limit Adjuster is enough. If you use it, set "StreamMemory = 1024" and optionally "Anisotropic = 8" on the .ini of the mod.

The game characters has 30 bones on their skin, if you add more bones the game crashes. But I noticed that the game uses male01 as a base for characters skeleton, so what I did was copy a cutscene character (they have 60 bones in total) and replaced male01 with it, so now, instead of crashing, the game actually can load other skins with that same skeleton. The issue is that the original skins from the game breaks and the only way to fix it is editing their skeleton to have the same bones as the new male01. Also, obviously, all animations from the game need to be retarget to match that new skeleton.
I played a cutscene animation and the skin works fine with all additional bones moving properly.
Since you need to replace all characters and animations, this method is only suitable for total conversion mods
If someone make a mod that disable this connection between male01 and the other characters, then there will be no issues anymore. No crashes, no skin bugs, you could have for exemple a animated dog with 140 bones alongside with the original game peds with their 30 bones.
With Mutare Rig is not only possible to convert auto rig skins for gta, but it's also possible to convert any rigged character from other game, with facial animations, skin weights etc intact. So you can take for exemple Franklin from GTA V and replace CJ with facial expressions etc working as in GTA V.
At moment I did not released this toolset of conversion from game to game yet. And I do not have prevision for it. The arms are too much spreaded, I still don't know the cause of it, its not the bone position/rotation.
Mixamo is a online tool to create animated characters for games.
I tried to make a model rigged by Mixamo to work on GTA 3.
Sadly the mixamo skeleton distorts on GTA III VC and SA, also on SA it loses the ragdoll support. Still trying to find workarounds for this.
RH still have some issues and limitations (like the interiors not rendering properly) but my friend is helping me with fixing the issues, the plan is to fix all issues on RH so anyone can play all missions from start to finish with a good performance and no visual bugs.
-Due the issue mentioned above, I need to keep the clothes textures a bit flat/smooth, because if I add tiny details of fabric for example, it would make a lot more shimering.
-The player does not suport semi transparency, just full transparency or full opaque, so textures with transparency as the white vest from cj has aliasing on the edges.
-All player models has a terrible uvmap, this cause a lot of textures to appear distorted or weird, the pants for exemple are mirrored in the uv, very noticiable. The uv issue is also visible on cj neck, usually with a skin surface that does not look seamless.
All the issues mentioned above are present on the original CJ model, it's not something caused by my mod. I worked upon the limitations from the model. Literally all CJ clothes 3d models has issues, not just one or two, all of them have it, and I can't fix it, it's too many models.

What is missing:
A total revision on cj face textures + haircuts: 35 textures
A remake of all shoes: 42 textures
Current progress: Around 25% I guess. It's far from finished. All face textures needs edits, there's over 40 shoes textures, all upper clothes textures needs to be remade. It's a lot of work, a work that probably would take some months to do and with the current state of the issues on the player, I don't really feel much motivated to keep doing clothes.
Some samples of the textures from the mod. The focus is always use source textures or recreate the original textures with the most accuracy possible.
Textures takes between 1 to 5 hours to be made. Sometimes I recreate the same texture several times in order to get a result that looks good to me and I always remastering or remaking older textures, allways in the intention to make the mod look like the original game but in HD. The focus is not be just a texture mod, the focus is to do a project that feels like using a glasses, generating a feel that the textures are part of the game at point that you forget that you are using a mod.
been raising money from patreon to renovate my house, but it's very expensive and it will take some time until I manage to do it. But everything gonna be ok at end.
This texture is not part of RoSA because I already made it from scratch in a better definition because the sources photos were too low quality.
depending of the complexity of the image, texture creation can take between one hour to over 5 hours.
Note: this is still in progress and have problems, bugs etc and it doe's not represent the final version.

I disabled the asset file for that little girl, then, the game replaced her with this guy.
Sadly the game softlocks on the bear part but at least runned longer than I expected.
The game was running in windowed 480p mode and the UI could not render.
RTX Remix running on GTA SA GTA Mixed Mod + HD Textures.
Keep in mind that this is a early version of rtx remix and I haven't configured anything yet, there's no PBR textures etc yet. I have plans to open this project on Patreon when RTX Remix gets more stable. The game needs PBR hd textures, map 3D models need to be remade, I need to set all light sources of the game by hand etc.

Note: Stretched textures, too bright or too dark models and other bugs are original problems from the game. RoSA is only a texture mod and dosen't fix game bugs.
Original model was made by archiwum_xyz and adapted to gta sa by me.
