Geezer GamesWhile I expected to release Devil's Temple during May or June I simply have not had the necessary time available to complete the game. However, in this video I'm showing some very good progress on the game.
Key points shown in this video that I have worked upon: 1) The game now has a hiscore system 2) The game now has an attract mode 3) The game has a menu system included allowing the player to modify game settings 4) The background video music is now all included as demonstrated in the tune list below:
There are currently only three elements of the game that is missing, the first is that the final boss needs to be completed, all other bosses are finished; the second is that the end sequence needs to be coded; and the third is that the game code needs to be mastered and optimised.

Requirement: Amiga OCS or A500 Mini or ECS or AGA
Set in 1987 you'll fight your way to the Devil's Temple to rescue Lena who's been taken and held hostage by X in revenge for his defeat to your father 3 years ago.
The game features 10 stages with intense arcade Kung Fu action based on the classic Irem games of Kung Fu Master and Vigilante. Over 300 frames of animation have been packed into the game and every cycle of performance has been used on the Amiga A500. The game will adapt to expansions so extra chip ram will result in better music, AGA will provide extra colours and increased enemy variety in-game.
Pre-Order for the boxed edition of the game is available at geezergames.co.uk

Here I'm using data driven code to make the enemy boss move which I've actually thought about doing over the last couple of weeks. It has taken me around 2 hours to code and is working great!Kung Fu Remaster (Devils Temple) | Amiga OCS | Dev Update #24Geezer Games2021-10-24 | The title screen is now completed and I'm very happy with it. The fire sound sample is played in stereo, the gongs alternate left to right. Still to do would be a menu system but that would come later.
Next up I'll be polishing the game and getting a playable demo ready.
