Here's a thing I've had in the works on and off since the end of May, four 10+-minute long jams that all start out ambient and slowly veer off into something else, and each one based off one of the four seasons (inspired by these four oil paintings that my grandmother's had hanging up in her house as long as I can remember). A lot of Inside The Mainframe-style background music vibing type of stuff. I'd actually considered just releasing this session as-is on Bandcamp when I was done since I'm particularly proud of the way this one turned out, certainly much prouder than I was of any of the sessions I posted here last year, but decided to just keep it as a regular session here anyway since that was my original plan when I started work on it (also it wouldn't have felt right to me as a main album, an EP, or something under a side alias, and it obviously made no sense as a comp, didn't know how to classify it besides as a 256PiMusic session). I made pretty much all the actual music, but he came up with the song titles and, um... "sang" on it? By that I mean I put him in front of a microphone and he did whatever the hell he wanted. Mostly lot of screaming. I'm not sure if this really needed to be preserved, but I uploaded it here in 2016 finding its insane cringiness to still be funny. Delight Over A Bad Throttle (4.2.17) 256PiMusic 2017-04-02 | [Downloads & Tracklisting In Description, READ IT PLEASE] I've been working on this session for over a month now, undoubtedly the longest I've worked on any individual session. As for why it took such a long time to make when most of these take like 3-4 days for me, well... basically, I made it as a fan soundtrack to Orbital's The Altogether DVD (of which the title is an anagram and the font I used in the video is from). Basically, you can sync the nine songs in this session to the nine music videos from that album.
