I definitely don't need to create 100 nodes in my grades no more.Grading Process in the video, I used Earth LUTs to convert the LOG footage to rec709 and used Dehancer for film emulation or print emulation look, added 65mm grain(youtube cleans it 🤦), 35mm halation and 35mm bloom mostly. I will come up with a small review soon but for now, I strongly suggest please stop using GF mode in video. It is apparently line-skipping mode (Correct me if I'm wrong). I really don't like the image coming out of GF mode. It looks noisy and over-sharpened. I quite love the Full frame mode and would only recommend shooting in that mode. But unfortunately there is no more 60FPS on this camera for me. :(I shot these tests for myself when I was on my trip to Ladakh. As of now, I made basic looks. which are more than enough in my opinion for this system. I suggest using these LUTs at about 80 percent unless using some vintage or classic Voigtlander lenses. In the above video, I used it at about 75 percent and did not even adjust the white balance or anything they are definitely the best LUT pack for Leica as of now in the entire world. Leica SL2s vs C70 vs C200 Video Comparison - Color Chart Aditya Varma 2022-12-06 | All Pictures were edited with Earth Leica Lightroom Preset PackMy LUTs & Presets store : https://adityavarma.sellfy.store/My Observation Not just from this TestI Think C70 is a great all-around camera with a lot of things going for it. Especially for the size and all the recording formats, it can shoot in. Having shot for more than a year with the camera and multiple projects with it which includes using it alongside an Arri Alexa LF Mini for my next Netflix original. The camera is hands down great despite its plasticky build and ready-to-break screen. The image is fabulous the dynamic range is really amazing. CLOG2 is clean, especially coming from c200 with the DGO sensor. Taking about c200, It still holds so well alongside C500s and C700s with its inbuilt Raw capabilities. As you can see the Raw files from the C200 are so easy to grade colours are great straight out of the camera. I still wished they gave us a 10-bit Codec alongside but it's been 5 and half years and most of us are still waiting for the update. Canon crippled it hard with the 1080 120FPS. I can write it down it is 480P upscaled to Full HD. Well all in all I am still thinking of keeping the camera for another year or so before thinking of putting on OLX. SL2s being a hybrid really shines in the video but lacks affordable lenses in the autofocus area. But I still love it for the colour fidelity clean image and separation in the colours. It still feels Leica image even in the video area. I am yet to spend time understanding its LOG but it doesn’t leave me longing for anything more. There is enough dynamic range to push and pull. Also, this camera has the best noise performance in the base ISO understanding there is some in-camera Noise reduction happening. I am going to multiple tests with the SL2s in the coming months.
