Over the years, the geometry dash layout community has been comprised of collaborative projects for years now, and to many the meta has gotten exceptionally old. Build, send part, repeat. This last week, however, me and some of my friends (xVoid, Blue7 and Lykoz) met up and spent some time in an AirBnB, and we managed to cook up this layout that you see here now. While this project may not be anything revolutionary, as we aren't the first group of creators to produce a two player layout, I do happen to believe we have produced something exceptionally special, not just in the final product, but also in the building process. Despite the fact that we all have our own "parts," the entire process of putting this level together was a massive level swap, or really a true collaboration in every sense of the word. Everyone contributed in some way to this amazing level and each part is in a sense a group effort, with one member at the center of the ideas. In addition to this, the memories of being together and building this level will remain an experience for years to come. Alto Full level | Geometry Dash 2.2 xVoid 2024-04-30 | I had an absolute blast building this! Managed to finish the entire project in under two weeks, which feels like a big win for me. This marks my second solo project, and I'm thrilled about it! Though, I must admit, I'm hoping my next solo won't be Codex-styled... don't get me wrong, it's incredibly fun to build in that style, but a little variety wouldn't hurt lmaoo. Circuit Surge Full Layout by The Men | Geometry Dash 2.2 xVoid 2024-03-13 | This layout is something else Lolo. Xyva had started this layout way back in June of 2023, but only a handful of us finished our parts in that time frame. Those parts are my part, Xyva's part, nCylix's part, and Vantablack's part. After those four parts were done, we all started working on new projects, one of those being Never Forget. Which now is fully decorated and on the servers. Even though I had been on and off encouraging people to finish their parts nothing ever got done, and with that frustration, I just left it to die. Fast forward to present times, Skrypto had asked if this level was done yet, and that just fueled the motivation to get it done. With some help from our newest members (and already existing members), we were able to finish the layout in about two-ish weeks whilst adding two more parts to the collab. My FIRST 2.2 Platformer Frostfall Manor full level | Geometry Dash 2.2 xVoid 2024-01-08 | I think a lot of us can agree that 2.2 is indeed a revolution. Well well well, I don't think any of yall would've expected my full fledged Platformer LEVEL to be finished before a collab part, or even a solo layout, but here we are anyway! This was honestly the most fun I've EVER had creating. (I feel like I've said this one to many times, but I mean it this time :sob:) As someone who enjoyed Mario Maker, and Platformer games such as Celeste, and Hollow Knight, this whole project was just a treat. Ide like to give a huge thanks to @Lykozzzz for the big orb idea at the end of the level, (I stole his concept, luv u xoxo) and for doing this EPIC showcase, cause he still has noclip. Gleam full Solo level by xVoid (me) | Geometry Dash 2.11 xVoid 2023-10-27 | This was VERY unexpected, even for me. For some back story, I made this layout during a huge power outage in my area that lasted for about 2 days shy of a week. With that power outage, I was forced to build on my iPad. I ended up building this whole layout in about an hour tops. A few days after finishing the layout, my area's power came back on which meant I could game on my pc again. A couple of weeks later, I decided to open my iPad before going to bed and saw this layout again. After playing it, I was surprised by how fun it was to have such dynamic movements then the idea of decorating it came into the picture. I wanted to decorate it in a Codex style because I find Codex's style of building fun and cool. Well I ended up finishing the first 65% of the deco in one week which now thinking about it, really burned me out. I didn't seem to find the ability to execute the ideas I had in mind for the deco so I dropped the level as a whole. After dropping this level, @happymoby and I made the layout for Fluky then soon after I wanted to make Fluky "what this level could've been". Fast forward to future/present me, Moby asked me if he could play this level, and I said sure but while looking and playing through the level I somehow had a HUGE burst of motivation leading me to finish the rest of this level in the following 4 days. So yeah, I guess you could all thank Moby for getting me interested in this again. Also, this level was originally called "Ocular BikePath" which I found hilarious, but everyone told me to change it so I did. You all did a fantastic job! As soon as Moby and I finished the base layout for this level, we already knew we wanted to get this thing fully decorated. At the start Moby and I just planned to decorate it fully by ourselves, but then soon after I saw the potential in this project. The idea was to make a Codex "styled" level being able to showcase vibrant colors, and fun atmospheric details.
