Here are my favorite 10 books I read in 2023, ranked—some fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and even a short story collection (I know!). Overall this reading year was a success for me, so I'm happy to partake in the end of the year's "Top 10 List" celebrations with an honest 10 favorite reads. Not included are ARCs I've read for 2024 (those will count toward next year's list) or projects I've worked on for my job (though shoutout to Chain Gang All Stars by Nana Kwame Adjei-Brenyah—a phenomenal novel). Let me know what your favorite books were from this past year, and I'll see you in 2024!
