You Killed My Friends - oc animatic eugiius 2022-11-01 | Just a short thing based on the last dnd session I had!Ransom was cursed by his cannibal dad Ametzen , which makes him feel feral and rabid for humanoid meat.Ametzen kidnapped Leyland (Ransoms good dad) to try to keep him close to him , and the party went after him alongside Abettor (ransoms half devil brother from Ametzen) who used to be on their dads side from basically Stockholm syndrome but now is just hella traumatized . While Ransoms curse was acting up, he put meat in front of him, which he scarfed down , only for it to be one of the party’s early friends, a reporter from their first mission together. They fought for awhile , it was extremely extremely gory, but eventually Ametzen held Abettor at scythe point, saying that they all needed to stop fighting , let the two of them leave, or he’ll kill Abettor. The timeskip is partially illustrated in this video heheheh TLDR: Eldritch + some friends and family summoned and killed Zulgothin (his old patron) in order to get back his uncles soul and resurrect him with new magic that people hadnt done before.Longer version:Eldritch has been going behind his friends backs and studying the art of necromancy and devil magic for some time. He gathered this crew to help him:(In order at beginning) Artus Tas - a super smart man who’s got some weird magic shit goin on (barbarian/cleric)Zernin - his edgy cousin , whomst I’ve animated lots (fighter)Pency - his boyfriend (rouge/fighter)Anastasia - his sister who signed up to kick ass but wasnt let in on the necromancy plan (monk)Anta - his sibling in law (bard/wizard)Entros - his other sibling in law (wizard)Nora - his sister (cousin raised as sister) and the daughter of the uncle they were trying to get back (wizard)The group studied magic and then found a location where they could contain Zulgothin when they summoned it. The group wore masks, fake horns, and robes taken from Eldritch’s great grandmothers academy to hide their identities. The wizards stay outside the containment due to their lack of combative abilities.In the fight , Eldritch uses a spell that accidentally reveals to Zulgothin who he is so Zulgothin aims all attacks at him and takes a bite of of him , killing him. The party goes furious and Zernin kills Zulgothin permanently. The party rushes over to Eldritch and it looks like they aren’t going to be able to get him back but thankfully he is brought back (we rolled a natural 1 for reviving him , but Artus has an ability to let a die be rerolled and we got a natural 20). The party then gets to work on the magic , Artus leading the ritual and they bring back Eldritch’s Uncle Tiberius.Not shown , they also bring back his uncle Therrik who passed shortly after Tiberius. The effects used in the video represent being clouded by his great grandmother’s training’s influence (the green represents that as well) as well as just feeling huge scary emotions at the very end , hence the different filter. Summary:Triggers from above apply plus a brief mention of physical abuse below:So when Piotr and his brothers Eldritch and Wilstridt were little, they were hurt badly by their paternal grandparents. Piotr gained a notable injury, a slice in his forehead and a break in his horn. Their mother saved them , but they were all damaged physically and emotionally from it. Piotr gets approached by his maternal great grandmother Vaasa Fenn , who runs a “secret” academy , training assassins and rouges. She says he’s got potential but is weak right now, but she can turn him into something useful. He agrees and starts training.There’s a time skip, Piotr is a late teenager (18-19 ish) and there’s a quick scene of him comforting Eldritch on a bad traumatic episode day with his mother Andromeda there as well. Piotr feels like he can’t express himself, and has to be strong.Piotr ends up falling for another student at the academy, which is a big mistake because you aren’t supposed to trust anybody else there. He gets “close” with the guy , finding out he really likes being seen as a prize to be won and be praised physically (basically likes when people find him attractive and Yknow) Turns out all along the guy was manipulating him into the closeness and threatens to black mail his family about somethings, including the abuse. Clouded by rage and reverting to his training, Piotr kills the student, fearful of what he’d do to his family. Vaasa comes into the room, revealing she knew the plan the whole time and the whole relationship was a test. She says his killing was sloppy but she was impressed with the decision. Piotr is silently completely devastated.Another time skip, Piotr and Vaasa are “friends” , Piotr being her favorite of her grandchildren , and they are often together, though she continues to criticize him of course.Piotr is seen by many as a very pretty/handsome individual , and he, well, sleeps around and such , never getting involved in romance , having somewhat of a phobia of it. Though, he and his personal guard Zarruk , a very gentle and tall bugbear-tiefling, end up seeing each other very often for a long amount of time , and Piotr falls for him, and has no idea how to cope , traumatized from past experiences. ((Currently in campaign, the two are engaged and are in a happy and overall healthy relationship, so they get their happy “ending”. More stuff is to come from their relationship!!! It’s pretty much a sequel to this:youtu.be/Ih7FHR4Mj_oThis is about the arc where Eldritch basically lost himself for awhile and got really violent. The story in this goes as follows:Gar has captured the party and eventually tells Eldritch that he’s to blame for the deaths that he’s been grieving over. Gar also makes it so Aria cant control herself and attacks Eldritch, leaving a scar on his face. Eldritch completely snaps and “kills him” violently but turns out it’s just a clone and Gar finds this hilarious. But soon Streak kills him via an explosive arrow to the face. Eldritch, angry, decides to take a trophy , slicing off his jaw with Aria’s knife. He breaks down more and goes to Zernin, the tables turned, asking for tips on killing efficiently so that he won’t have to worry about his family getting hurt again. This makes Zernin really pissed and he teaches Eldritch a lesson, forcing him into a room/“spa” he had with rotting bodies. He yelled at Eldritch about shit and then threw him into this cleaning pool of water and washed the blood off him. He was like “don’t kill people, I’m a horrible man, don’t be like me” and began to watch Eldritch like a hawk. When I came up w the concept of a video with half a vintage song and half the caretaker version, I did not expect to go all out like this. Damn y’all!! This was such a learning experience and I am soooo tired.Here’s the story if you’re curious:Sajah was an exhausted father, who was frequently at work until late at night, trying to provide for his sick wife and their young son, Zernin. Sajah and his wife were very disconnected as she was not mentally or physically healthy the majority of the time, and the thing that kept them together was their son and of course Sajah wanting to care for her. Zernin did a lot of the house stuff, even from a really young age, being a caretaker to his mother when his father was at work. As Sajah wasn’t able to spend time with him during the day, they often read together when they could, Zernin being an often non-verbal child, finding peace in books. Though, Sajah came from a bit of a messy past and unfortunately left some bad people unhappy. One day, he woke up, not in any recognizable place, with physical wounds and a lack of a memory, no idea who he was or anyone related to him. (Actually, the man who hurt him was Gar’s right hand man basically , if any of you remember Gar from the other dnd related stuff, notably the “new magic wand” video. Funny how these things connect.)The colored parts represent the consciousness/when he was in his “past life”, the white lines represent a dream like state, and the yellow lines represent when he was just waking up and was lacking a memory.———-Also a major thanks to my friend Cam for doing lines for this!!!! It added so much to the video I’m so happy about it.
